early game is a slog. Gameplay is pretty good once you upgrade the mirror and weapons.
As for story, eh, its alright. What’s really interesting is the amount of dialogue the game has to respond to you when you do something.

Btw the Chiron bow is cracked. If you want to win, use that. Spear is kinda shit unless you do a cast build or maxxed guanyu spear.
I think the artists were outsourced. Hades 1 had a lot more consistent design overall - same lightning, color values, that sort of thing.
