-Third person shooter with first person ADS on all weapons. >Death is cheap, but you get like 5 revives per mission per player, and a single reinforce can revive up to 3 players at once.
-Your starting loadout is basic, but you can requisition in stuff like air strikes from your Eagle GF, personal use rocket launchers, artillery barrages from orbiting starships, jump packs, etc. Think EDF but you get to be a ranger and an air raider at the same time. No vehicles in game yet, but we have had teasers for mechas.
-Each player can enter with 4 requisitions per mission, so that leads to a lot of variety across the squad.
-Campaign is multiplayer and server wide. (you) don't get you own story, instead your progress helps push everyone's story.
-You can buy premium currency with real money to get special hats and guns, but you can also find those credits just lying around the place in regular maps if you look around, so the pay-to-win aspect is pretty good all round.
-PC players are crying about their kernels for some reason.
I figured out the other day that I can like and play both palworld and helldivers, it's nuts, I'm liking 2 things at once and I'm on no-ones team! it's so weird!
