they literally reworked thousand maws tho
yeah but they still left in the longest pre-boss cutscene in the game for whatever reason
>longest pre-boss cutscene
UHM IFRIT??
trial =/= dungeon
Okay and? It's still longer. Just skip it and pull the boss. You HAVE to wait for trials so I'm more right than you na na na boo boo.
you're forced to wait in a trial
people can just kill the boss before the cutscene even finished in toto rak
Thank you for repeating what I just said
it's a 1.0 dungeon
they need to keep the jank to remind people that 1.0 was shit
1.0 Toto-Rak was completely different and had no cutscenes. There were also three bosses and if you completed all three then you got extra rewards.
It's not that long, stop being a homosexual.
I miss the maws, down in Tooooto-Raaaaak
I have never watched a single cutscene within a dungeon and I never will. Nothing they have to say is worth having to spend one additional nanosecond in the presence of DF morons.
I mean, its not exactly common that they do, but you're wrong in saying nothing.
because it's a single player game first
is puprle lalafel here?
LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLETS FRICKING OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
they should've fixed this
it's a pretty rare bug, but extremely annoying when it happens
They should really lock people out of engaging a boss until the cutscene is over.
Just run it with bots
At that level there isn't even an appreciable damage difference
yes there is i gave it the old double blind trial
Trust healers can have a tough time keeping up, both with healing and actually keeping up with you running along. Big pulls can also go wrong in a flash if they decide to start casting damage spells, it's rough. If you're a new player then yeah sure why not, take your time.
I sure wish grand company trusts still had an inkling of relevance

Let's not pretend that 6.0 was any better than 6.X, literally nothing they write for Dawntrail could be worse than Endwalker's MSQ.
Anon, nooo
you can't say that
you're gonna get called a tramcer
There's no denying that Endwalker is the nadir of XIV's main story. It has nothing to do with how you feel about the events that transpired.
>4.0
>1.0-2.4

>3.0
6.0 was fantastic, only egregious issue was pacing.
>only egregious issue was pacing
and the flat characters
and the stilted plot
and the 11th-hour antagonist
and spitting all over what little remained of the worldbuilding
but hey that's all fine because I finally got to meet crystalmommy and she called me her little pogchamp haha DAE want to sex the birb?
>but hey that's all fine because I finally got to meet crystalmommy and she called me her little pogchamp
yes
you forgot demystification in your buzzword list
Lemme guess
>Garleimald should have been its own expansion
eh, not necessarily
but it would have been nice if anything that happened there were actually relevant to the rest of the plot
instead you just kinda trudge through, and when you finally catch up with Zenos and Funyuns he just goes "mwahaha I'll just do it myself" and jumps through a teleporter conveniently placed six feet to his left
and then you talk to, like, three ghosts and you're suddenly fighting Zodiark because uhhhh... look, don't think about it too hard, the plot needs to keep happening
and none of the other characters bat an eye about any of this
>villains goal is to break a god out of the moon
>thats wierd why would they have a teleporter to the moon
>thats wierd why would i be fighting the god that the antagonists have invested all their time shortly before
>and none of the other characters bat an eye about any of this
???
who put the teleport pad on the moon
if it were Fannyman he wouldn't need the teleporter in the first place
if it wasn't Fritos then why is the teleporter entrance right next to him
>who put the teleport pad on the moon
Ascians be teleporting to the moon senpai.
>if it were Fannyman he wouldn't need the teleporter in the first place
for zenos.
>who put the teleport pad on the moon
The Allagans
>if it were Fannyman he wouldn't need the teleporter in the first place
He knows its there because he was a prominent member of the allagan empire(He's the actual Amon, the 3rd boss you fight in Sycrus Tower is his clone)
Allagan might have made sense if it were closer to the crash site and not the watchers hub
>Ascians be teleporting to the moon senpai
so the teleporter is unnecessary
and Zenos needed to go to the moon because...?
oh, right, because there needed to be a teleporter conveniently placed six feet to Fallopian's left
>and Zenos needed to go to the moon because...?
lol
>and Zenos needed to go to the moon because...?
did you not play shadowbringers and endwalker?
The average guy discussing the story here and particular how it was totally filled with "plot holes" and "stilted writing" typically doesn't actually pay attention to said story, no.
Zenos had no reason to go to the moon
he didn't give a shit about Zodiark
he didn't give a shit about Fandango
why would the character that doesn't give a shit about Flappybird's plan need to be directly involved in the final stage of the plan, when all he cares about is goading (You) into fighting him
now answer the question
Zenos needed to go to the moon because...?
He wanted to feast on Zodiarks power and for you to feast on Hydaelyns.
oh
huh
if only he had been standing in a GIANT AETHER TRANSMITTING TOWER THAT WAS BUILT FOR THIS EXACT PURPOSE
maybe if you keep pretending to be dumb your father will tell you he's proud of you
The tower was built to shoot a laser beam at Hydaelyn's ward, and to teleport to the moon. It wasn't connected to Zodiark's aether. The tower was Anima which was drawing aether from the other towers around the world which were sucking that aether from the planet. There are a dozen actual problems with EW's story and this isn't one of them. You're just stupid.
Hey, I'm not the one who started nitpicking about the teleporter specifically, I just thought it was funny to trudge through the whole Garlemald plot just for Fruitypebbles to jump through a nearby escape hatch like a saturday-morning cartoon villain
we can also talk about the conveniently-placed memory wiping device which Venat conveniently escapes from
or the convenient memory-wiping spell that the Sharlayans conveniently explain stops working after death
or the fact that Elvisdibus conveniently has just enough aether to send you back in time, only for Emet to conveniently be able to see you
or the conveniently-placed ikeascope that the Sharlayans have been using to communicate with Hydaelyn's conveniently-placed moon rabbits who just so conveniently happen to be able to navigate a conveniently-placed Allagan spaceship to follow Hydaelyn's conveniently-placed tracking spell while she was conveniently escaping the convenient memory wipe
personally my favorite part of Endwalker is when Emet looks directly at the camera and says "how convenient that you portrayed me as a genocidal lunatic"
it's just so convenient
Personally, my favorite part of this post is its ability to halplessly present rampant cynicism and an inability to enjoy a story as "critique".
Next you'll tell us it's all very convenient that we just so happen to play the hero of the story.
I mean...
it IS awful convenient that the player character happens to be the reincarnation of Venat's former best friend
really adds some emotional weight to the part where Hydaelyn conveniently recognizes you because of the convenient time travel where you conveniently told her everything that was going to happen so she could conveniently piece together what Meteion would become so she could place her convenient tracking spell while escaping the convenient memory wipe
>we can also talk about the conveniently-placed memory wiping device which Venat conveniently escapes from
This one is bullshit.
>or the convenient memory-wiping spell that the Sharlayans conveniently explain stops working after death
This is consistent with Lifestream lore we've had since 1.0, in which it was described that teleport is dangerous because lingering in the Lifestream will make it start scrubbing all the excess aether off your soul. That's also how Thancred and Y'shtola got crippled.
>or the fact that Elvisdibus conveniently has just enough aether to send you back in time
He's the heart of Zodiark, the most powerful primal ever made.
>only for Emet to conveniently be able to see you
Stories are full of coincidences, that's just how stories happen. The actual problem here is that the Elpis segment was only written so they could shove in Emet-Selch fanservice.
>or the conveniently-placed ikeascope that the Sharlayans have been using to communicate with Hydaelyn's conveniently-placed moon rabbits
The Aitiascope is another Antitower, which you first visited in Heavensward. It's not conveniently placed, it just aims straight underground toward the center of the planet which is where Hydaelyn is. And it's for talking to Hydaelyn, not the rabbits.
>who just so conveniently happen to be able to navigate a conveniently-placed Allagan spaceship
That's not an Allagan spaceship, that was designed by the Loporrits and built by the Sharlayans.
some of this stuff you've listed is just straight up wrong
How very convenient that the cat that idolized us during a subpar Alliance Raid story ended up surviving into the dark timeline alongside Cid, Biggs and Wedge and their eventual progeny. So convenient that they managed to reverse engineer Alexander and Omega technology and conveniently turn the Crystal Tower into a convenient time and dimensional travel machine so he could conveniently travel to a separate pocket dimension in an alternate timeline and conveniently set up shop there and become the leading figure of a convenient huge settlement that amassed around his convenient time and dimension-traveling tower. And how convenient that he was able to use its powers to pinpoint our location in another dimension with a different flow of time and conveniently call our character and their comrades over to his dimension so they could conveniently avert the events that led to his timeline. And how convenient that once the very deed that led to his very existence was undone, he conveniently got to remain!
He wanted to fight you using Zodiark's essence and then when Fanny Danny did his thing he realized you'd be completely distracted so he fricked off.
Zenos wanted to hijack Zodiark the same way he did Shinryu so he could have an insane battle against you. Fricking idiot. Endwalker isn't even good but you picked the dumbest fricking thing to find a problem with.
>he didn't give a shit about Zodiark
anon the entire plot since 5.2 revolved around zenos giving a teeny shit about zodiark, first as something to fight close to [the player] in terms of power, and then a power source to even the odds against [the player]
sasuga average story "critic"
>who put the teleport pad on the moon

thats just the scions (minus urianger) and vrtra, but i'll grant they are too important for how flat they are.

>and the 11th-hour antagonist
naming a trope isnt criticism, Metion wasn't as interesting as emet by all means, but she was handled fantastically.
>and spitting all over what little remained of the worldbuilding

you're attempting to argue with someone who has no intention of changing their mind and likely doesn't even know what all those terms mean in context of the game
Holy frick that projection
6.0 was better than 5.0 to me. 🙂
That's an egregious issue for every expansion.
The first two are just basic claims without founding, as is the fourth.
The third is just you being filtered. Also it's still funny to see people kneel and squeal about an ANCIENT being behind the big calamitous problem plaguing the star. Not like Ancients were EVER behind all of the problems plaguing the star. Oh, just like about 90% of the time.

Thats because that one janny will prune any that drops below a certain threshold of shitshow.
Reminder that all the ARR dungeons got reworked cause all the vet players just want to kill everything in the fastest time possible for their dailies making every dungeon super barebones and the new player experience much much worse, and limiting interacting with a player explaining mechanics of the dungeon and what not making the game even more anti-social because vet players are complete buttholes
>Hyped friend for Deepcroft hard
>DF it
>The other players keep going forward
>Tells us to ignore the notes
shame
Whenever someone tells you FF14 has a great friendly community just laugh at their face
boss fights that put up something resembling a fight >>> random side paths with 2 enemies and nothing else
better yet, a side path containing a chest with a potion in it
>moron doesn't understand the concept of adding mechanics in the dungeon that make the dungeon unique instead of le side path
Brayflox used to be an escort mission to escort the goblin for frick sakes, at least until they completely gutted the entire dungeon. There's a reason why theres a gobbo running around randomly in that dungeon, that reason is completely gone now. And that's just one mechanic out of the many missing now.
1.0 was kino & half the people currently playing XIV couldn't even clear normal 1.0 dungeons
small weiner
Isnt his dungeon where Lahabrea is properly introduced? Should have made the cutscenes are unskippable like the final few of ARR. It's pretty fricking important to the story.
So..... Where are the lewds?

Do shitposters still pretend Kate is some woke boogeyman?
See
kate meta 2 minutes golbez armor garlemald venat ashen loporrit
She's not a boogeyman, she's very real.
Pixies are the only example you can muster
Even if that were true, that's egregious enough on its own. She has admitted she has an agenda, and she already altered lore to fit it the first chance she got. But no, there are other examples. Like her censoring developers during live translations.
>But no, there are other examples
Curious how those are never posted.
There are other examples posted in the post you're replying to. Why lie so brazenly? What's the matter with you?
I know Koji and Aimi don't freeze up when they hear a certain word related to their ideological bullshit and then completely omit the sentence. Koji will occasionally not directly translate the sentence but present the information through a back-and-forth comedy duo sort of way.
Okay so you don't know any Japanese and are just assuming.
Okay so you're just spewing random bullshit and hoping it sticks because you want to defend your ideological ally who already openly stated her intentions.
Post some examples
Of her stating her intentions? Here
Get to the next part of your rotation now.
Again, that's your only definitive example of something being changed, with approval by the Japanese staff might I add.
>Again, that's your only definitive example of something being changed
She's added other they/thems since that point, but you don't care about that because to you the simple existence of that means that the Japanese approved it therefore it's fine. Funny how this stuff isn't in the Japanese version though. I also don't care if she got the boss's approval or not, she's stated her intention to force her ideology into the game and has already done so. She changed the pixies for no other reason but to set precedent. That isn't acceptable.
Feel free to post those examples then, but you wont. You'll keep back linking to the pixie example.
>Feel free to post those examples then
I literally already did. Giott and Talkingway. And at least one unnamed NPC in Sharlayan. You're here to waste time. I can go get a picture of any of these things, and we both know the result is you saying "but I don't think it's a big deal so it's fine and I win". Convince me you're not here in bad faith just trying to waste my time and energy, or I'm gonna go back to playing FFIX.
Giott is still a woman in the EN dub you fricking moron. We're done here.
She's a they/them in the new lorebook, bud.
>" frick off" is a completely valid argument
It's actually not, sis.
It's not a he/she mix up, it's someone referring to a female NPC as 'they'.
>It's not a he/she mix up, it's someone referring to a female NPC as 'they
Ah ok, the only thing I remember was the screenshot where the woman mistakenly calls herself a man in dialogue
kek I fricking KNEW you were the dumb frick who took that shit as being some kind of ultimate gotcha.
So you did already know about it and you're sitting here playing stupid with the intention of wasting time. Almost like you know it's only defensible through feigning ignorance. I'm gonna go back to playing FFIX. Eternal reminder that forcing ideology in something you didn't create is never acceptable, no matter what the ideology is, and your obnoxious cultural imperialism only creates more and more enemies for you.
>It's not a he/she mix up, it's someone referring to a female NPC as 'they'.
which one?
but muh EE3 that's always 100% cano--
>limit breaks used as an introduction for dynamis and aren't 100% built up aether
uhh,
>limit breaks used as an introduction for dynamis and aren't 100% built up aether
Little lorelet, nothing has changed about limit break lore. Limit breaks were always manipulating vast amounts of aether through an emotional high. All that was added was that dynamis is the intermediary force which shapes the aether, rather than aether itself directly responding to emotion. Limit breaks aren't dynamis laser beams.
nothing has changed except massive things that changed including a total recontext of the setting through the new plot element so i can softball myself into being right
>pre-EW
Aether responds to emotion and faith. Magic is literally prayer that becomes reality through fervent belief. Primals are huge lumps of aether shaped by emotions and faith. Limit breaks are when you reach an emotional high that lets you manipulate massive amounts of aether beyond your normal limits.
>post-EW
Aether responds to emotion and faith because dynamis carries the emotion and molds the aether like clay. Magic is literally prayer that becomes reality through fervent belief because dynamis manipulates the aether. Primals are huge lumps of aether shaped by emotions and faith because dynamis molded the aether. Limit breaks are when you reach an emotional high and supercharge the dynamis which lets you shape massive amounts of aether beyond your normal limits.
Nothing significant has changed.
>Magic is literally prayer that becomes reality through fervent belief.
this hasn't been true since gridania established conjury still uses atmospheric aether but they ask the elementals for permission meaning there is no functional difference between conjury and white magic which doesn't actually care about religious ties. this was 2.0
Gridanian conjurers are priests of Nophica and they pray to the elementals to access magic. And this does play into their magic too, it's the reason they use the specific wooden canes they do. Compare them to Ishgardian conjurers who use steel and stone staves as focuses.
>and white magic which doesn't actually care about religious ties.
Modern white mages are the high priests of Nophica, and the Amdapori white mages were also priests (see the names of their equipment, and the angelic themes).
Yeah but Red Mages are just fencers in pimp hats but they can do whatever the frick they want without needing religion.
thats because red mages accelerate their own internal aether and bend it to either astral or umbral, build up energy they call 'mana' and release it through sword techniques. they aren't drawing it from their surroundings like true black or white mages do
so, what, it voids the religious requirements entirely if you're drawing from internal aether? this doesn't make sense, especially in light of arcanima from arcanists, scholars and summoners
Emotion is also an acceptable component in magic, emotion and faith are functionally the same thing.
>especially in light of arcanima from arcanists, scholars and summoners
Arcanima is actually the study and arrangement of leylines. It originated as the use of natural leylines, and then evolved into arcanists making their own miniature leylines. This actually ties into Llymlaen as the Navigator, understanding and mapping the planet's natural flows to cast magic.
emotion isn't relevant to the religious practices that all jobs ignore, why are you repeating this
and why are you explaining ley lines to me when it's irrelevant
>This actually ties into Llymlaen as the Navigator
this is speaking out of your ass
>emotion isn't relevant to the religious practices that all jobs ignore, why are you repeating this
It's completely relevant. You think faith is disconnected from emotion?
>and why are you explaining ley lines to me when it's irrelevant
Because leylines are absolutely relevant to arcanima. That's literally what the geometries are, they're miniaturized custom leylines.
>this is speaking out of your ass
If you don't see how the goddess of navigation ties into charting leylines, then it's not surprising you don't understand dynamis.
>If you don't see how the goddess of navigation ties into charting leylines,
This being brought up in-game anywhere would probably help. Off the top of my head it's not mentioned in EEs either.
religion isn't a requirement
>but priestesses do this
still not a requirement. just because magic as we understand it originated from prayers doesn't mean that magic stems from prayers. its the incantations. thats why agrias and cid have such long incantations to their attacks
yes that supposition is what i'm agreeing with, religion wasn't and never has been a magical requirement. even blue mage stemming from whalaqee worship of ceruleum supports this since monsters use magic instinctively
It's not even about a religious requirement, is it? The reason Black Magic and White Magic were banned was because they were pulling from external aether, like the Primals were. When White Mages used White Magic, they were draining the planet around them.
Red Mages take their own aether, make it either more astral or more umbral, and then spread it around them. Then when they use something like Verholy or Verflare, they're not using up the ambient aether in the area, they're using their own internal aether that they put there specifically for that purpose.
I think most of the classes use their own aether. The description for Arcanist for instance mentions "Held within occult grimoires, these symbols lend shape to the arcanist's aether, thereby allowing him to produce myriad powerful spells," which is saying they're using their own aether. No one cares if you use your own aether for something, they care when you pull it from the world. That's why even the benevolent Primals like Ramuh need to be killed, because them merely existing is drawing up ambient aether.
For Scholars, they're using their own aether for the most part, and Faeries are the aether of dead Scholars. And I think originally Summoners were able to bind Primals that had already been summoned, but the Egis are just a Summoner using their own aether again: "Only a practitioner whose aether has been stained by the essence of a primal can thenceforth shape her own energies into a willful embodiment of the original entity’s dominant aspect. In the ancient tongue of the Allagan Empire, “egi” translates approximately to “pure” or 'the essence of.'"
And technically every class uses aether, most just don't call it magic. Dragoons use it, Warriors use it, Gunbreakers use it, Sages use it, Ninjas use it, etc. They just don't call it magic, but they use it and religion isn't involved.
you can only limit break when you're emotional became you can only limit break when you're emotional (because of this thing we disocvered)
this sounds like how people forgot primals have to actively try to temper people (garuda only does it after you fight her and then gets BTFO'd by the blessing of light) and tried to argue that stuff in shb/endwalker about tempering was a retcon because they just assumed primals unironically worked like exposed nuclear waste or something and just tempered anyone nearby
they literally DO, lorelet
that's the whole plot leading up to Ramuh
why can cid and alphinaud stand right next to garuda and be fine. why does gardua only get owned by the blessing of light and then vored by the ultima weapon after she explicitly says she's going to temper you now after the boss fight
Primals have a latent tempering effect that CAN be an issue, but not always. If you are next to one while summoned, you're exposed to a huge burst of aether that's a much bigger risk. Titan doesn't temper anybody but his high priests are still tempered because they keep putting themselves near him, that's according to the first lorebook.
>All that was added was that dynamis is the intermediary force which shapes the aether
Do you have a single fact to back this up?
ahat the frick do you think all of omega and everything in EW from elpis on was about
>all of omega
Emotion is the reason for WoL's ability to overcome their limits, Omega cannot fathom why and doesn't detect anything that would give away dynamis.
>Elpis
Hermes being a fricking gibbering moron and the mechanism behind how Dyanmis works and how WoLs [DETERMINATION] lets them use it. However in this very same section Hermes explains why nobody knows shit about dynamis and the fact that dynamis and aether cancel each other out, hence why in order to interact with dynamis you need a low enough volume of aether.
This only explains that yes, WoL can use Dynamis. Literally the only time dynamis is ever show to shape aether into anything is in the case of the Twelve and even then the Twelve are aetheric constructs and thus have a low enough aether volume to interact with dynamis.
>Literally the only time dynamis is ever show to shape aether into anything is in the case of the Twelve
The elpis flower shows you dynamis shaping aether the entire time you have it. I can get a screenshot of EE3 going into more detail about this too.
>Hermes being a fricking gibbering moron
filtered, soulless bureaucrat drone
Shut the frick up, you Xande loving simp. Frick you and your tower.
Post it
xande is an actual gibbering moron after being the only true resurrection in the entire universe
>Post it
Play Endwalker dude. The sundered are all entelechies which means that they have the power to convert emotions to tangible phenomena with dynamis as a medium.
>and we both know the result is you saying "but I don't think it's a big deal so it's fine and I win
" frick off" is a completely valid argument and continuing to argue is a sign of being mazed by your own offense
>unnamed NPC in Sharlayan
Wasn't that one a typo?
the loporitis are actually agender because they're all the same subhuman familiar template doe. its the kind of cringe mascot character race japan has had for decades and the western version has always had to just pick a pronoun because until trannies decided that being called they isn't dehumanizing after all we were stuck with this as a quirk of our latin-based language
>the loporitis are actually agender because they're all the same subhuman familiar template doe
They're asexual, and every other loporrit uses male or female pronouns. And then one randomly uses 'they/them' which makes no sense in the context of each of them picking pronouns based on the information they got from Sharlayans. It also makes the text in those quests hard as frick to parse because there are instances where Livingway uses 'they' to refer to like three different entities in a single sentence. It's ridiculous.
Do you think any of the other live translators miss any stuff, or do you think it's just Kate?
inb4 trying to claim Xaela reincarnation belief is "trans coded"
Sorry I'm not the strawman you want me to be, bud. But no, that is not an example of her bullshit.

I'm not an ESL just cause I forgot to type "not" in one of my sentences. It's just sometimes my thoughts on typing something go faster than what my fingers can type so I miss a word sometimes when I post.
imagine typing this out on an anonymous image board holy shit
There is nothing wrong with being ESL (as long you're white)
>faint farting noises can be heard in the distance
I skipped every single cutscene except for one leading me to believe cid was a god and if he took his oven mitt off the world would end. Get on my level
At least its better than Aetherochemical research facility
>big and lore-filled cutscene before final boss
>even more lore-filled and important cutscene when boss goes into phase 2
>if anyone pulls the boss P2 while someone is in the cutscene, they will be yoinked out of the cutscene and dragged into the fight, losing that important scene when its halfway through
Can you even skip any of the cutscenes there now? Replayed ARR because I haven't played since right before the first expansion and I remember the first time rushing through and the watching the cutscenes from the scene viewer, but this time I got to enjoy them all.
Uh oh! Looks like you wandered into the bad part of the Black Shroud, and got ambushed by some Duskwight Elezen. Now you have to pay the toll.
*pays the toll*
It amuses me how despite being the most snowflake race you can possibly play as in xiv female duskwights are the least imaginative, look at all those shitty cosplays and modbeasts, cringe!
>implying any of those elezen there are actual characters
It will be a cold day in hell before you see that many Elezen in any one place. Especially in a dungeon with a limit of 4 players, u dip.
I purge them right alongside Duneisraelites, Moonbawds, and every homosexual within Limsa.
SEX, SEX WITH ELFS
endwalker was kinda not good because war started.
2 years of endwalker was 2 years of war for me. that's why i liked Shadowbringers more. i literally raided pandemonium 3 savage, untill i've heard artillery sounds in 24 february.
good, die.
I hope you escape soon.
thank god luminous productions got fricking axed and thrown into trash, it makes me feel a lil bit better knowing I won't be funding those morons who made FF15 and flopspoken
Grim.
yeah it's really stupid
this boss is usually dead by the time the cutscene ends
Preatorium STILL has 17 full minutes of unskippable cutscenes.
this bullshit seems like a staple of ARR dungeons.
At least with that it's something you're either doing for the first time or knowingly sign up for with the roulette. It's not like this where the regular leveling roulette can just shir you out into Totorak without warning.
>Koji already soft-confirmed CBU3 is making FF17
>16 coming to PC by Q4
>DT is gonna take a fat shit on War Within
It's a good year to be an FFgay.
Koji actually teased yesterday they are making even more DLC for FF16. I wish we got anime or a show in the world of 14 or 16.
I want a PSO style loot based RPG set in the XIV world.
He looks like your typical internet weaboo, balding and pudgey too yet somehow he's actually living the dream. How does one cope with not being Koji Fox?
>pudgey
The dude is tall as frick
look at his belly though
Reminder he ended up in that position because he wanted to play OoT early so he imported a copy and learned Japanese while he was playing. He did it for vidya. If you do it for vidya, maybe you can be like him one day.
Also he was technically born in Japan with a Japanese middle name. I'm sure that planted something in him to learn more
pretty sure he says in that noclip 14 doc that his dad was stationed in japan in the military and became a weeaboo himself, interest probably stemmed from his parents
Yea I thought it said he was born in the American military base in Japan
from what I remember he was born in the US. It's just that his father had turned into a huge weeabo so he gave him a jap sounding middle name. And yeah, it's pretty clear that his interest in jap stuff probably started with his dad. He initially went to japan and worked as an English teacher, from what I remember
>guy in heavy armor with a big axe

Holy shit is this the moron who thinks the EE continuing the "Giott gets mistaken for a man" joke as canon proof that they made Giott a man in XIV?

thinking of leveling one(1) crafter just to see side content that requires one. I know that crafting is a total meme in terms of practical value unless you max all of them so instead my question is
what crafter has the least annoying sounds? whatever that one I hear by every marketboard that's a bunch of grinding (goldsmith?) is definitely out
I like the sounds that woodcutting and cooking make, though gathering ingredients for cooking can be a pain jn the ass.
i think leatherworker is the quietest
it’s really not a big deal. if adding an extra minute or two to a duty run is egregious, then that is a symptom of bad game design in which the rewards are insufficient or you just hate the game in which case you should stop playing
This is the realistic take. I just send out a quick shitpost on twitter or something if it's unskippable.
If midlanders were real they would only frick dogs and blacks
I can't play a female character because I would end up modding her. Spending hours in gpose with a self-insert of myself in my apartment.

relatively new to this game - curious if questing and stuff gets more interesting later on, like most mmos?
i just killed titan, so im not terribly deep into the game. i dont have any problem with it yet but it seems like quest scripting is pretty bland?
not really. in fact you just get the regular pat on the back from minfillia when you head back to the waking sands
Pretty sure she does more than pat your back Anon

Do they plan to add more primal weapons for endwalker jobs in the future?
Usually they add new primal weapons in batches so it would make the most sense for DT to get new ones, no guarantee though.
Will you EB one?
Now post the in game model

If you mean the furries, yes.
imagine if Femhroth had feline features like this and didn't look as humanoid as they do
is it actually a half hour or is this hyperbole? can your rewatch cutscenes outside the dungeon? if not that's wild lmao.
>is it actually a half hour or is this hyperbole?
Heavy hyperbole.
>can your rewatch cutscenes outside the dungeon?
Yes.
The old one was about 2 mins, the new one is about 40 seconds. both are too long, but yeah massive hyperbole.
it is hyperbole, the cutscene is longer than the actual boss fight itself, that being said it only plays for players entering the dungeon for the first time if its not your first time a much shorter cutscene plays but both of them are skippable anyway.
Same thing applies to another dungeon later down the line where if you enter for the first time during the story quests you get a long ass cutscene before you face off with the boss but any other time its a shorter one.
>XI
>Trial-related CS all occur outside of the instance
>XIV
>Stuck waiting in the 'safety circle' for the new player to be softlocked in the Shiva Hard trial for 5min
>XI
>Trial-related CS all occur outside of the instance
Not true at all. You get cutscenes all the time when you load into the instanced battle. We used to say 'cs' in the chat to let people know we were stuck watching it and they should wait.
Are you guys excited for purple lego, blue lego and cyan lego? I can’t wait!
I am, yes. My primal mods are going to reach new heights.
that's not even happening
yes sure
better than just being stuck with green, yellow and red lego

idk
Why didn’t he just type that out? Is he stupid? But yea I am hyped for it
>Why didn’t he just type that out?
because he wants to make it sound as shitty as possible
the purple attack in the benchmark is a spell so people are just assuming the other arr primals are getting copypasted into nusmn like the original 3
To me it just looks like an updated Fester graphic.
Nothing that special, just a new Fester.
we already know it’s not an ogcd

>i always watch cutscenes and I always go blind in raids and never look up mechanics
>no you can't just be excited for more summons on the summoner that people have been literally asking for since HW what about the micro and the dots.... what about BANE?!
the ‘summons’ are all interchangeable. there’s nothing to get excited for since it doesn’t represent any expansion or improvement of the job’s capabilities
Don't care, I want to summon Ramuh and have him cast Judgement on the boss.
isn't it just CONVINIENT that the story is written in a language that we can understand? its almost like they WANT us to read it
Is life just a series of conveniences?
What a convenient post!

I wish there was this many people in the actual world zones, but there's usually maybe 10 max spread out across an entire instance
>things happen in a story to facilitate the events of said story
>this is bad now because "why don't we give any thought to if it happened differently? If it happened differently, it would've not happened the same way and the results would be different, SO I CALL HACKERY!"
>it's also only bad in Endwalker, not every literal expansion that had the same "conveniences"
This is the most inane non-argument ever. If you don't have any actual critique, just stick to "i dun like it. it give me the bad bad feels. >:("
I'm really just trying to point out that Endwanker is mostly a series of contrivances to explain a.) why the next plot point can happen, and b.) why all of this new shit nobody's ever heard of before just so happens to already exist
It would be less clunky to just have Cthulu or Galactus or some natural phenomenon be the reason for the end of days, but nooo we need to go jerk it to Emet-Selch some more for the sake of continuity
And you're not really doing a good job at it. All you're doing is "for things to happen, THINGS HAPPEN! THAT'S CONVENIENT!"
Shadowbringers had the same amount of "contrivances."
yes, it did
the story is and has always been clunky, it's just particularly moronic with Endwalker because it's kinda transparent how much of it is the writers scrambling to cobble together a vaguely-coherent story
Nah, the story isn't clunky. You're just dressing your jadedness and pointed attempts to excessively analyze normal writing stuff as the basis of your "critique".
You can do this with most any fictional writing.
it really, really is
you're just willing to handwave criticism because of your emotional attachment to the story
You're really just a fricking idiot.
well it's actually the cutscene that introduces Lahabrea who's like the main villain of ARR so it's kind of important
I imagine redoing the cutscene so it's after the dungeon wouldn't really have the intended effect so they just left it as is.
Pretty convenient that I just happened to be the product of the one sperm cell that made it to the egg. Very curious!
why do duty cutscenes even exist
there’s nothing interesting about them, literally every single one is some shitty camera panning while the enemy does a flourish while 1 dude holds 7 - 23 other people hostage because… because what? it doesn’t even have any story relevance. just skip it dipshits
final gaytasy is just that type of series tbh. it's more that it's done badly tho. swtor does it well (as long as you can laugh at the ridiculous animation.)
i wouldn’t mind if there was like story-relevant dialog or something. sure go ahead and enjoy it, i’ll wait for that. but a worthless camera zooming across the hallway for a minute? are all of you babies entertained by jingling keys or still huffing copium that a duty cutscene would eventually be worth watching, any day now just you wait… no there isn’t you stupid monkey. why do you continually get nothing of value and still repeat the same thing over and over
>be moronic
>use DF content
lmaoooo i bet you also have a burgerking crown like a fricking homosexual
yes you have to do df content to progress the story. congrats you moronic paypig, you used a skip. we can’t all be as stupid
You will wait for me.
You will kneel.
You will commend me at the end of the duty.
I own you.
(Seriously, though. Waiting like a few seconds extra won't kill you)
Why do you play video games if 10 seconds of your time is so precious to you? Chill out you fricking autist.
you’re undercounting by a factor of 20
He's more than a 20x autist? whew
tell me, what is the most convenient race?
Lalafells. They make the most convenient Onaholes.
Just the girls, right?
When I'm finished there will be nothing but girl lalas. So yes?
Very convenient for the kids in It to just happen to need to have an orgy in order to defeat It.
I hate that the elite grand company sets you get for allied seals costs relatively so much and at no point have they thought of lowering it, I don't want to play and grind Blue Mage.
By design every story is full of contrivances, that's how the plot happens. I don't want to read a story about a little midget picking up a ring and getting run down by horses in the first 3 chapters of the book.
How convenient that the Nazgul just so happen to be blind....
>By design every story is full of contrivances,
Yeah. Pretty much.
You've offered no criticism. That's the real issue here.
You're like the media equivalent of that one sour c**t nobody likes who, rather than just enjoy Christmas celebrations, would prefer to rattle on about how it's all commercialized, consumerist nonsense out to just get people to buy exorbitantly priced shit. I mean, yeah. Duh? But that doesn't make you wise, or even a critic. It just makes you an annoying and pompous homosexual to be around.
Same with writing. Every form of fictional writing requires some amount of accepting that these things happen as is ordained because otherwise the plot could be about 500,000,000 other things instead. Telling us you "totally saw through it" isn't so much a critique as you trying to make your cynicism our problem.
yeah, SOME AMOUNT
I'm pointing out that 90% of Endwalker's plot points just kinda happen to have the pieces lying around for the player to come in and fix it, which ultimately detracts from the overall theme of Endwalker about overcoming adversity
>source: because I said so bro
since when do you need an academic source to make a logical statement
would you rather keep the time travel part of wol or for azem to just somehow know how shit was gonna go and was the one who warned venat but it never receives any follow up on how they knew?
I'd rather Venat came up with the plan and took a gamble based entirely on her own will and her faith in her own decision that it would work out.
she did, why do people always assume everyone has encyclopedic knowledge of everything that happened.
We told Venat, Emet, and Hythlo an abridged version of what we knew to be the events that lead to our quest into Elpis. We did not tell them like only tuesday we ate pancakes then went to the market for 2 hours, and then meanwhile in Limsa so and so stood by a specific tree for 6 minutes, until they had this idea because a leaf blew past... etc..
Venat only had the vague musings of someone who gets hit in the head too much and imagines two headed leviathans. Go and explain the plot of this game to a friend without looking anything up and thats what Emet, Venat, and Hythlo got. She did not know even close to everything, and she had no idea when she did most of what she did if that was going to result in getting to the time point that resulted in you the player appearing. Dont forget at least 12,000 years elapse in between Elpis and you the player, for all she knows she fricked up halfway through and you will never be born, game over. It is still and insane gamble/plan and in no way diminished because some time travel happened.
azem i feel leaves the door open for fourth wall awareness
??? wol time traveling doesn’t explain how azem knew
i worded it badly, i mean would you prefer the EW time travel plot as it is, or would you rather the big reveal be that azem somehow knew about everything that was going to happen.
it seems like azem already had an inkling anyway from what venat said
azem already appears to know the future. unless he just fricking guessed that you'd be back to help themis with pandaemonium. i wonder if they would add another layer of time travel on in that there's 2 azems, the original and a far flung future one thats been keeping his past self abreast of the future
Azem is just a prophet, that's one of his Echo powers.
so supermikoto?
Yeah, Elidibus says that Azem mumbles prophecies under his breath all the time.
>she did
No, she didn't. WoL told Venat everything about Hydaelyn and Zodiark and told her what she was going to do.
>We did not tell them like only tuesday we ate pancakes then went to the market for 2 hours
That's completely irrelevant to the conversation. The subject here is about Hydaelyn and the sundering.
>Venat only had the vague musings of someone who gets hit in the head too much and imagines two headed leviathans
Oh look it's the reddit "loremaster" with his heckin random xD so random """facts"""". Hey moron, the primals in Eden aren't messed up because WoL hit his head and forgot what they looked like. It's because primals are very, very sensitive to inner thoughts and emotions. WoL's battle with Leviathan was against two targets, his head and his tail, and that memory got mixed into the new summoning and resulted in two heads.
>and she had no idea when she did most of what she did if that was going to result in getting to the time point that resulted in you the player appearing
She literally did, that's the whole point. You fed her the script that would lead to you and she knew that it was going to play out exactly that way because you were there at all to tell her, because she understands how time loops work unlike you.
ngl i thought the pandaemonium thing was just azem fricking with elidibus
Gimme a world unsundered epilogue arc for the last expac before maintenance mode

>time travel discussion
since they haven't actually told us the exact specifics and mechanics of the elpis time travel and the time travel plot in general, it's kind of a moot point
yes they have dingus. you missed it when you were calling your dinner contrived
NTA.
and they didn't really make it clear, which means that you can't conclusively state if the sundering always happened to start with because of the wol, rather than the sundering happening, allowing the wol to exist and therefore allowing them to go back in time and reinforce the reasons for the sundering happening
they did make it clear. elidibus said you won't be able to affect meaningful change. its a closed loop
He didn't state that you literally *cannot*, but rather that the WoL should actively refrain from it because of the ramifications.
?t=464
pretty cut and dry to me
Just as cut and dried as it is for me!
i'm glad that we're both convenient then
You can't cause any changes because if you were to do so then the circumstances leading to you going back in time wouldn't even be happening. That's how time loops work. There is no instance in which the loop didn't happen. The only instance in which time travel does actually cause a change in history's events is when it's combined with dimensional travel.
>The only instance in which time travel does actually cause a change in history's events is when it's combined with dimensional travel.
This is you just sucking off ShB's "it is that way because I say so" boot.
That's me having a triple digit IQ and knowing what Omega does.
ShB's time travel mechanics were literally just a whole bunch of "it works so because we say it works that way" and mainly so because "we need the catboy to survive because people like him."
>ShB's time travel mechanics were literally just a whole bunch of "it works so because we say it works that way"
You can not create changes in a time loop from within the time loop because if you were to do so then the circumstances of you changing the time loop would also be changed. That's how loops work. You are trapped in the loop and nothing you can do can change it because the beginning of the loop is affirmed by your present actions.
This is not the case if you were to act outside the loop, from the perspective of another dimension, as is the case in Shadowbringers. Because you are not a part of that loop, you can affect changes from outside.
Read a book, Aiden.
G'raha was not out of the loop lmao. His timeline was still created due to the existence of the Flood of Light and eventual Calamity. He *should* have been undone, which in turn would reset everything back to where it was. But because they didn't want that to happen, and they really needed him to stick around, they just made him go "heh looks like i carved out my own spot in time XD" and just pretended like his time and dimensional travel was sufficient to tear him from the inside. The future he's from is the one the WoL would have experienced if not for G'raha's intercession, and in turn, it created a separate branch of time.
>G'raha was not out of the loop lmao.
Yes he was. The First is another dimension from the Source. He was in a parallel time flow.
>His timeline was still created due to the existence of the Flood of Light and eventual Calamity.
Which is on a Source dimension completely separate from the First.
>He *should* have been undone, which in turn would reset everything back to where it was.
There's no logical reason that would happen. You're still conceiving of the events of the three different dimensions in ShB happening on a single timeline, which is wrong.
Dark crystal frickery and also the WoL is from another dimension. He slips into the loop from Dissidia and fricks it up.
>The First is another dimension from the Source.
Irrelevant. The First is inextricably tied to the Source, and G'raha traveling to a past version of it doesn't change that the future he came from is the same branch of time the Warrior of Light is from.
>Which is on a Source dimension completely separate from the First.
And what you do on the First is literally solely to avoid causing a Calamity on the Source. Because that's the entire reason the Source got so fricked up in the first place.
>There's no logical reason that would happen. You're still conceiving of the events of the three different dimensions in ShB happening on a single timeline, which is wrong.
You have no proof otherwise.
>The First is inextricably tied to the Source
No, the First was created from slicing aether off of the Source. It's not tied to anything, it was just spawned from the Source's aether.
>and G'raha traveling to a past version of it doesn't change that the future he came from is the same branch of time the Warrior of Light is from.
Yes it does, because G'raha is not from the branch you played through. He's from another branch, then moved to another dimension which allowed him to affect changes in the loop through an outsider position.
>And what you do on the First is literally solely to avoid causing a Calamity on the Source.
And you're able to do so because you're acting in another dimension.
>It's not tied to anything,
There is no point in discussing anything.
>because G'raha is not from the branch you played through. He's from another branch
He's not. His Source is ours of the future (until he averts that fate), and him jumping to the First linked to our present's Source does not change that.
>And you're able to do so because you're acting in another dimension.
You need to return those books you're preening over, because it's clear they left you unable to grasp the context of XIV's story if you really think the Source and the Shards aren't connected.
there is one, fixed timeline originating from creation. the exarch jumped entirely to another timeline rather than into the past of his own.
this actually debunks the 'you were hydaeyln's chosen one from the very start' because hydaelyn didn't know for sure that her timeline was 'the one' until the exarch shenanigans took place in it with you getting a phone call
Oi wot if her (and our) timeline isn’t the one
>the exarch jumped entirely to another timeline rather than into the past of his own.
no, he jumped into his own past, and averting the calamity just split history in two
even if you want to pretend otherwise, it's not like time works in a way where the present is the only time that exists, as evidenced by the fact that G'raha from the future could travel back at all. If, without G'raha's assistance, the WoL was fated to die and the calamity was inevitable, then by definition, it already happened in the same timeline our WoL is in, and G'raha just got in between and caused a split regardless.
>no, he jumped into his own past
He did not. The First is not the past of the Source. It's a parallel dimension.
The First and all Shards are quite literally linked to the Source. The shards' effect on the Source and vice versa is literally why calamities happen. The calamity happens on the Source half because of the shit that happened to the shard. It's simple cause and effect, and you can't untie the two.
The First's fate is linked to the Source by definition, so that means that by affecting the First's course history, you are affecting the Source's as well. The Source that he hails from, the timeline that he hails from.
>The First and all Shards are quite literally linked to the Source.
They're linked through an aetherial flow in the Interdimensional Rift, but they're still separate dimensions.
>The First's fate is linked to the Source by definition, so that means that by affecting the First's course history, you are affecting the Source's as well. The Source that he hails from, the timeline that he hails from.
Yes and you're only able to do so because you're acting from outside the Source. You are not in the First's time flow. Note that time does not move in the Interdimensional Rift. It's a dimensional gap of nothingness.
By your logic, cause and effect do not exist. Nothing you would do in the First would affect the Source and vice versa.
Yet it very much does. The Final Days would doom the First, and the Flood of Light was poised to doom the Source.
If there's only a tenuous aetherical link and no presence of an unbroken timeline linking the two, the things that affect one could literally not affect the other. But they do, because they are linked. They are not separated from each other's timelines because that's nonsense. They can quite literally affect each other.
>be me
>do something in the source to frick with the 5th reflection
>it doesn't do anything because the two's timelines are fundamentally incompatible and disconnected
>i piss in the wind
Also you win because it's late and I'm off to bed and don't really want to wait for the next addition to the "yes it does," "no it doesn't," show.
Enjoy.
>0% uptick in Krile porn since her new outfit and showcasing in the trailer
Krile is anti-dimes, she killed the hype for the full trailer with her filler part and shittier motif compared to based TIME
>she killed the hype for the full trailer with her filler part and shittier motif compared to based TIME
Wow thought it was just me. Not Soken's best
Her outfit is actively ANTI-sex. She looks like a slightly more colorful plumber in those gay little boots and jeans.
If they had given her the PICT AF gear, the porn would be through the roof.
It might not be porn, but this pic is pure sex. If only this was her actual outfit
tbh so little about it changed i wouldn't be surprised if people thought all she did was put on some pants. i really thought she was going to take the hood off.
The hoods too marketable and too connected to her as a character now, it's why they're so scared to change Y'shtola's outfit since her current one has become so synonymous with her design
>The hoods too marketable
I don't think Krile's been in a single piece of official merch lol
There's exactly one piece of merchandise chud

Her hood isn't even on!
Despite how much her hood is part of her design and they'll never take it away, she's much cuter with it down
She’s not particularly cute or an interesting character, and I like lalafell. Tataru is both more interesting and amusing, and Nanamo is cuter. Worse than Milala and Pagaga as well.
>She’s not particularly cute or an interesting character
I actually think she is an interesting character, the issue is most of her early characterization is locked behind Eureka. You miss a lot of her actual motivations and character growth without it. I'm kind of upset that I took so long to actually do the Eureka story.
kek it is kind of fricked up, kind of like how Estinien's earliest characterization is behind the Dragoon quests
She has some good sassy lines here and there- her role for a long time has been "group worrywart" and "busy with paperwork," hopefully now that she's actually on the front lines again we'll see more of her sassy side.

I mean, that's more than you get searching just Thancred, Urianger, Lyse, etc. I think Y'Shtola is the only character who gets more than 1 hit when you just search their name. Also-
>Krile's is $18
>Alphinaud is $21
>Zenos and Estinien are $24
they seem to be priced on character height
The actual ending of ffxiv with be a fourth wall breaking meta ending
they did that in xi
All the more evidence
it would actually be kinda hot if all the girls prostrated in front of WoL like iroha does in xi
>girls
you're gonna get more g'raha and like it
these are acceptable terms so long as he puts on a cute dress
understandable
i don’t like any of the msq girls other than ryne
>ctrl f “convenient”
>57 hits
how convenient
New demystification just dropped
FFXIV will end with G'raha writing a book about the Wol and it falls through a time hole into the past and Azem will find it
God-DAMN
XIV isn't vidya
I run all content with my friends and I will never ever play with randos and I will have a consistently better experience than 90% of the player base.
how did you do bozja and eureka without randos
Haven't gotten there yet. I will find a way.
you cannot make private sessions for field operations
You can wait until the end of a new instance cycle or do it in the morning or something though. Bozja is kino with randoms tho
jan
why does this game send Ganker into a rage
Only has German French English and Japanese versions
The English script is meme Shakespeare shit and filters ESLs
FF has an autistic snd moronic fanbase (not super unique but it is noteworthy)
Assmad blizzkeks (they get asshurt over shit like TF2, POE, etc any game that competes with blizzslop). I do think the first reason is the biggest one, it’s an ESL filter

See? Pure supposition thanks to a lack of clarity.
If you can't present an argument then just don't even bother posting. Fricking redditor trash confusing replies with upvotes.
Unlike the moron wasting his time by replying to you, I'm not even going to bother humoring your shit-dribbling "argument", lol.
Tongue my anus.
closed time loop gays are something else
was all the datamined job stuff just an "oops" on SE's part? We didn't have this for ShB or EW benchmark. Unless I don't remember?
I'm pretty sure it was intentional to some extent.
Oi wot if azem is some ultimecia kompression bad guy
it would be konvenient
Unbroken time loops are gay so I just prefer to believe Hydaelyn sundered the world of her own volition at least once, allowing the Source and the Warrior of Light to come about, who then went back in time to Elpis and uncovered shit about Meteion and informed Venat about the necessity of the Sundering to make sure it would transpire the way it originally did.
I don't care if it isn't true. Or if it's too convenient. (:^)) It's less of a narrative meme to me.
The name is
John
Artemus
How does the FF1 timeloop work? Did Garland not account for you fighting Chaos?
the FF1 timeloop involves the warriors of light failing to defeat chaos. it continues unbroken until they do defeat him
dissidia says all FF games are offshoots of the various failed attempts at FF1's warriors
Oh okay, I must have missed that detail. Never played Dissidia either.
this all seems contrived and convenient
grimvenient
you know I can't help but feel like we wouldn't be having these arguments if the whole time travel schtick had just been limited to us observing the events of the past through a juiced-up Echo feverdream or something
Yep, it should have just been a 1.0 style Echo vision we got from Elidibus's soul.
What could have been...
then you'd just open it up to 1.0 echo jank in which 'its plausible that the wol did affect the timeline because cid's goggles'
1.0 Echo doesn't actually change the past, it only changes memories of the past. WoL didn't literally give Cid his goggles, but Cid will always remember it that way because you changed his memories.
say what you will about the 1.0 echo, but the reveal that you were in the echo for a large portion of the ul'dah storyline was really rad to me
If the story had continued with that Echo we would have some really nutty schizokino going on. I really wish I could have seen how that ended up.
Was better when Echo was you as a participant rather than AHHH HEADACHE witness.
I can see the argument for both, it's whatever suits the story I suppose
And if my aunt had balls. It's not worth ruminating on the changes that would've been made had time pressures been more permissive.
or if the people that complain about elpis had played alexander and not skipped cutscenes
Eh, time travel is moronic no matter what
You say "closed loop," I say "bootstrap paradox," either one is equally dumb
filtered
you understand that a closed loop IS a paradox, right? it's an effect without a cause
Why is Tenacity such a meme stat?
Because tank mitigation is not as relevant as party mitigation. Tenacity would be a good stat if it did AoE mitigation instead of only personal.
Passive group mit would be too much to account for I think.
shallow and pedantic
mmm yes i agree as well, shallow and pedantic
Game's getting really boring.
Plot's fun, but after hitting SB it seems like every dungeon or trial takes me 20+ minutes to find a group for.
transfer from dynamis
Probably due to free trial sprouts being gated at SB and all the max level players mostly not queuing for leveling roulettes which leaves ShB and early EW in a weird void.
buy a fricking ad troony
Its pretty funny that you see a XIV thread and get so assmad you go into this thread you don't like to post this
it's a Final Fantasy first and an MMO second
I'm so glad I don't use Mare.
Grim
cute in a tardy way
Why does yours look so weird bro?
lalafells
we have to stop the native brown lalas before the innocent hyur men figure out they're weak to ropes
>my PLD naturally has around 300 Sps
>yet my spells have a 2.5s GCD
explain square???????
Lyse love.
Vigorous mating press love-making with Lyse.
With handholding.
is it worth it to use stat pots in dungeons
No
i only ask because i don’t know damage formulas and looking at the pots makes it seem like it’s an extra gear piece worth of stats for 30 seconds but at best it seems trash melts maybe 5 seconds faster at best and bosses don’t seem to take more damage at all
It's good for end game content and ultimates
Don't worry about it otherwise really, you can use them as an extra buff for fun if you want
Trash dies fast enough that it doesn't matter and you won't get the full benefit. Potions are for raiding.
no but most pots that aren't the current bis ones are worthless anyway
>*boop*
Would you let the intrusive thoughts win?
I guess what I'm asking is what does it taste like?
I would stab it with a straw and suck all the insides
I would
CAST IT INTO THE ABYSS
That will always be the funniest dumb thing your character does.
They don't even bother throwing it on opposite sides or anything. both drop down in the same spot.
modded thick lalas look like my irl gf
post em
Do i stay cat or go mele in DT
they both look alright
Pink lala I hope to see lots of cute pictures of your character in the new graphics.
Your malezen is handsome as frick, do that
