A spinoff game that has nothing to do with Master Chief's current shenanigans like ODST or Reach. That entire story is beyond salvageable at this point and you might as well abandon it.
Yeah, I missed those games. Also whatever happened to the Prophet of Truth finding possibly Forerunner technology at the end of ODST? Seems like a pretty major story beat to just gloss over.
ODST and Reach are irrelevant shit, what Truth found is the Ark portal, something you already learn in both Halo 2 and Halo 3, how is this a major story beat, neither game told anything new or change up the universe, basically, the series was a shitshow campaign-wise until Infinite and shown up the only reason it's good is because it regurgitates Halo 1, 2, and 3.

Halo 7-9 will be about the The Endless who are revealed to be a race that predates the Precursors. Didact will return via plot. Atriox will return and be his shitty, authors pet self. Arbiter will die off-screen. Locke will have an important role as the dual protagonist alongside Chief. morons will pay for this for the next 10 years ensuring Halo gets a 9-12 where Chief dies but also merges with the universe using Endless technology and Cortana travels back in time as a human to give birth to Chief in the past creating a time loop. After that Halo will reboot in 2050 with a new Chief whos basically the Paramount version they've been propping up.
Nothing from Halo 4 and 5 is ever coming back as of mandate, also Locke is dead, stop mentioning him as confirmed by Infinite. I will post the image for Locke in my next post.

We know he's facing the Banished and Endless but there will be new Forerunner mysteries explored, new mysteries about the Chief being explored, what connections the Endless have with the Flood, and Chief evolving more from mounting threats. Chief will also be going to other locations not just Zeta Halo but other parts of the galaxy too. So what happens next is something we'll have to wait and see for.
