several people of all ages die in technological or mechanical accidents every day and people's faith in the systems are ignored regardless of its strength. if Coca Cola or Pepsico, Samsung or Microsoft, worse yet a logistics company- manage to cut spending and increase profits from automation they will do it and pay a pittance to the estates of the deceased.
