Happy 11th anniversary to Resident Evil 6! Say something good about it!
Resident Evil 6 may have been mediocre overall, but it had the best combat system in the series. Easily the best mercs mode in the series as well.

>Say something good about it
Helena, Sherry and Ada are hot

Rasklapanjes were good enemies and pretty much every part of the game they were in was actually fun.
I like the scene where Chris and Leon fought. Gameplay was decent but it was too inconsistent whether my characters would actually hit enemies with their melee.
Yea those parts were cool especially throwing hands in a microwave. I actually thought Chris’ campaign had the scariest section even though it was ridiculous 90% of the way through
This is honestly one of the worst games I've played in my life.
is co op at least as fun as 5
in addicted to porn, send help
Sherry, Helena, Ada/Carla, Deborah, and Hunnigan are sexy!
Nothing more needs to be said.
>Rev2
Hell yeah motherfricker
Middle-aged Claire is oddly sexy! Moira, Alex, and Gina too!
300 hours? That's impressive, anon. I kneel.
My ex gf and would play the frick outta these. Especially the mp. I really miss that fricking b***h sometimes.
I don't remember much about Rev2 but Raid was fun.
I'll never unsee giraffe blowjob
Mercenaries was good and they should probably make a new Dino Crisis with that combat system.
Ermm, really struggling here.
... I guess it's the game that inspired Capcom to turn things around.
Whats that one video essay that went over why Revelations mercenaries was the best
Underappreciated game. After all these years I still have no fricking idea why you people dislike 6 so much. It is not a good game by any metric but it is infinitely better than RE5 in nigh every regard.
Some of the enemy designs were memorable and certain settings like the chinese market were extremely fresh and interesting. This game also has some of the most ridiculous bullshit in the entire franchise, the alien cocoon monster Chris fights with his buddy or the tyrannosaurus dog polymorphing main villain were so over the top and unique in their designs, I can't believe you people hate this game. I also loved the ways in which the campaigns intersected.
Once again I'm not saying this is some masterpiece, but it is far from being not good. Also Ada is way more hot than in any other game, her and Leon work very well together in this game.
The main villain was stupid, the game went way over the top with action set pieces and the story is just kind of nonsensical in general. RE5 is actually a great game with a memorable story unlike re6.
Yeah fricking great story.
>GLOBAL SATURATION HUEHEHEEH
RE6 had some good moments but honestly almost all of the good stuff was crazy over the top action, what you would likely call "setpieces".
One thing I really hate about RE6 which people neglect to mention these days is the QTEs, the game was full of them, they were very hard and unbelievably shit. The game would also have these corridor running sections where you have no fricking clue what's happening or what the perspective is so you'd just get instagibbed and have to try again, tanking your score.
The best parts of re6 were the regenerator sections and the early section of Leon’s campaign until you arrive at the cathedral. The action sequences were mostly dogshit like MULTIPLE helicopter boss fights and those stupid car chase sections. The qtes were also bad yeah especially when it was just spam r2 to climb this 80 foot long rope.
I remember being pretty obsessed with it when I played it a few years back. Got plat on the ps4 version, beat every campaign on no hope then did random co-op, mercs, and agent hunt till I got bored. I'm not sure why the game clicked with me like that but I'm glad I was able to get a lot of fun out of it despite it's reputation.
>Some of the enemy designs were memorable
I thought it was cool how all the partial mutations were based on weird bugs. Like the one that turns their upper body into a mass of beetle larvae that explodes.
>I thought it was cool
I also really enjoy the mechanic of people mutating into different things as you shoot them
Same. I wish they had kept iterating on that mechanic of having enemies mutate based on where you shoot them instead of going back to standard enemies outside of re4make plagas.
>tyrannosaurus dog
WHAT!?
I've played through it only once at release but wasn't the final boss an actual clone of Ada,that was secretly another women obsessed with her or something like that?
Nah Simmons was the guy obsessed with ada who also turns into a t rex
for me no tank controls and no real upgradetrees on the weapons were a real dealbreaker.
Instead you had these 3? slots for special medals, felt very underwhelming
I really liked 5 and had countless coop hours with friends.
The controls were infinitely better, though the upgrade thing was weird indeed. The general number of weapons you have access to make up for the shitty customization imo.
Naked girl boss fight and a fricking incredible combat system. Fun as frick online pvp, when you get a match that isn't against a random mexican player on dial up.
>piers bussy, no homo
that it
So was he originally meant to succeed Chris and they chickened out at the last moment?
I bought it full price on release and barely made it through Leon’s campaign before giving up on it entirely. Very reminiscent of DMC2 level quality
I like RE4 and I like RE5
I don't like RE6. simple as that.
RE6 is better than RE5 in every way, so that doesn't make much sense
I loved the control scheme in this game.
RE6 Mercs was some of the most fun I had playing this.
I keep it installed for that itch.
One of my favourite RE games, absolutely love it
I love Helena's fat piggy ass
I frickin loved the J'avo as enemies. They reacted to every shot in an interesting way, had like 10 billion mutations for each individual limb and could even mix and match mutations to create whole ass new enemy types. The leg and head mutations were my favorite, nothing beats getting bicycle kicked by a pissed off Bosnian mutant with grasshopper legs.
I also found the way they acted to be interesting too; if you read the translations for what they are saying, they seem overjoyed with their power, sometimes even complaining about a "hotness" inside of them. They act like over amped serial killers that also know squad tactics, it was great. Real sad Capcom never innovated on that system after 6, god knows 7 could have used something like that to make the combat more bearable.
