Has there been any attempt in the Imperium to have the Krieg colonize other planets and death worlds?

Has there been any attempt in the Imperium to have the Krieg colonize other planets and death worlds? From an Imperium perspective, a Kriegsman is a perfect citizen. Eager to die for the Emperor, will carry out any order without hesitation, shows no empathy, and doesn't care for personal safety and well-being.

And how is this relevant in any way to an actual game, with actual players? You running a Krieger game about terraforming planets? You don't need a permission from daddy GW to do so. But we all know you don't have a game.

Who has the Vraks screencap of the Kriegers gunning down their commissars so they could retreat and then gunning down the other Krieg sent to stop them from retreating and then everyone involved was executed?

Commissars assigned to Krieg units have to actively stop the Kriegers from absolutely pointless suicide charges. They can achieve something more valuable when that suicide charge is tactically useful after all.

Have a relatively easy time. There's no cowardice, no hesitation or morale issues.
Their only problem is a culture clash. Kriegsman are well versed in attrition. They will try to make the most of every shell and man, But not blindly.

Commisars temper Kriegsman "short-sightedness". To offer outside-the-box thinking Kriegsman won't consider, Like tactical retreats/reorg/regroup fight another day.

To a Krieger if a situation becomes untenable the idea would be counterattack. Tie up the enemy and bleed them for time.
Time for attached elements to retreat, Or for reinforcements to arrive.

The meme of suicidal Kriegers and homicidal commisars needs to stop.

The problem is that people take extreme/bad/notable examples and then try to make that the average. If a commissar is a problem, he will be mentioned. But if a commissar isn't a problem, he won't be mentioned.

It makes a lot of sense why krieg are so popular if they appeal to the autistic bean counter "I dunno why everyone is so irrational, they could win if they just stopped running away when the orks charged and slowed them down".

      >COMMISSAR: What's this, then? 'Ego sum praedon et traitoris’, ‘Ego sum ignavus et traitoris’, ‘I am given in advance and of the character of a hauler?’ ‘I am a lazy man and of the character of a hauler?’
      >BRIANUS: It-- it says, 'I am a thief and a traitor’ and ‘I am lazy and a traitor’.
      >COMMISSAR: No, it doesn't. What's High Gothic for 'traitor'? Come on!
      >BRIANUS: Aah!
      >COMMISSAR: Come on!
      >BRIANUS: 'T-- Traditor'?
      >COMMISSAR: Goes like...?
      >BRIANUS: 'Miles, militis'?
      >COMMISSAR: Nominative feminine singular of 'traditor' is...?
      >BRIANUS: Eh. 'Traditrix'?
      >COMMISSAR: 'Traditrix'. And therefore ‘Ignava’ also. 'Praedon'? What is 'praedon'?
      >BRIANUS: 'Thief'. Let--
      >COMMISSAR: Ah, but ‘praedon’ still needs to be properly declined. Decline the noun.
      >BRIANUS: Uh. 'Praedonis', third declension, nominative singular masculine, ‘praedo’.
      >COMMISSAR: But ‘Praedo’ refers to a brigand or pirate, so you should use the usual noun for thief, which is...?
      >BRIANUS: F… Fur!
      >COMMISSAR: Which is...?
      >BRIANUS: Umm! Nominative masculine'!
      >COMMISSAR: How many thieves?
      >BRIANUS: Ah! Singular.
      >COMMISSAR: So, ‘Ego sum’.
      >BRIANUS: Ah. Eh. ‘Ego’ is already implied by the ‘sum’?
      >COMMISSAR: And where should the 'sum' go?
      >BRIANUS: Ah. Ah, at the start, sir! Ahh! No, not at the start! Not the start, sir! No! Ah! Oh, the... end! At the end! Ah!
      >COMMISSAR: 'Fur et traditor sum' and ‘Ignava et traditrix sum’. Understand?
      >BRIANUS: Yes, sir.
      >COMMISSAR: Now, write it out a hundred times.
      >BRIANUS: Yes, sir. Thank you, sir. Praise the Emperor, sir.
      >COMMISSAR: Praise the Emperor. If it's not done by sunrise, I'll cut your balls off.
      >BRIANUS: Oh, thank you, sir. Thank you, sir. Praise the Emperor and everything, sir!

You're only looking at this from a logical, normal person viewpoint, instead of seeing it in the same sense as the autistic ultra-bureaucrats and fanatic zealots making up most Imperial leadership. Kriegers are essentially a planet-sized penal army. They're repenting for betraying the Emperor, and even the Kriegers themselves have a particular sense of self-loathing. Why would either want to spread their culture any further than necessary, regardless of how useful they may be in battle?

    >From an Imperium perspective, a Kriegsman is a perfect citizen.
They are weak, sickly and descended from traitors. Their tactics are also purposefully shit and suicidal.
What you gays need to realize is that the DKoK is in the same tier as Chemdogs and other shitter penal regiments.
