They stopped milking Project Diva a while ago and all they care about is the gacha now.

what's the difference between this and mega mix? I didn't have a ps3 to play that one but I played megamix plus on pc

        Anonymous

The gameplay is way different. Mega Mix is a port of Future Tone which is an arcade game and the charts are based on you using a controller that looks like pic related. The ones designed for portables/consoles are designed around a pad and are much easier, but they have some extras like the diva room where you just watch the vocaloids lounge around or play minigames with them, and an edit mode that would let you make your own music videos.

          >Mega Mix is a port of Future Tone
it's not, also the one on your pic isn't project F, it's project diva Future Tone

            Anonymous

Future Tone is just name they gave arcade when they updated from the original PD arcade and the PS4 port, it's all the same game play and just because they chopped it up to sell DLC song packs and added in some shitty shirt editor doesn't

They should milk Miku for all she's worth sooner rather than later, she's losing relevancy with the advent of v-tuber shit

Does vocaloid even have a future now that AI voices exist and people can create AI songs that don't sound extremely robotic?

      Anonymous

I think so, vocaloid isn't just about the brand but the style, you can't replace that with Ai

      Anonymous

Because of AI Miku is now unkillable. You can ask AI to sing in Miku's voice, she's now in the database, complete global domination

Now imagine how fast it would load without Denuvo

like half a second sooner? the game already loads instantly with denuvo, I'd recommend getting an ssd to run the game

so I just did a test and timed it with my phone's stopwatch, it takes a total of 16.5 to go from clicking play on steam to getting into a song, so it would take around 15 secs without denuvo I guess, it's really not that much faster

                Anonymous

                >15 secs
going by other games affected, it'd be more close to 7~10

The two last games were released 8 years ago, one was a port of the arcade games and the other a half assed asset flip of the PS3/Vita games

Every release since then has been a port or a mobile gacha game

Sega has no interest in making a new one, accept it anon
