It's suddenly a deal breaker now because DD2 was a much sought after sequel for over a decade and the trolls are trying to use this as some sort of evidence that the game is bad when it isn't. Faking integrity over MTX they've never once shown concern for prior. Never speaking up over worse MTX in other video games of other companies or the exact same shit in prior Capcom games.
Arcade mentality is having to pay to continue or progress. Most capcom games DD:DA and DD2 included do not subscribe to that mentality. All MTX is so optional that it's actively detrimental tot he player that purchases them.

Street Fighter 6 is a HIDEOUS, westernized piece of shit. It doesn't look like a Street Fighter and it sure as frick doesn't play as one.
Monster Hunter World became alright with Iceborne but it was also westernized to frick and it pales in comparison to actual Monster Hunter games.

a decade ago they ported a "remastered" Mega Man X to mobile phones. except it was absolutely shit, 15 frames a second, half the character animation frames were missing, levels were divided up into chunks, everything played horribly wrong, and despite "enhancing" the SNES visuals they used the Maverick Hunter X artwork for characters. And they had the balls to sell you all the upgrades/weapons/armor if you didn't want to actually play the game for them. The image is an edit but the microtransaction was real.
