were shotguns always this busted? I haven't played since Source and I don't remember the pump shotty (it was an M2 in the old one, I think it's a Nova now) being this deadly at medium range.

yea it's really shitty that they removed CSGO. should have transitioned this all a little more smoothly. they removed mac support, lower end hardware support, a ton of maps, and all the default character models in one fell swoop instead of giving the game and players time to adjust.

It takes about a month or 2 depending on the player of full on boring-ass practise to really transform into a solo carry, and you need to prepare to force yourself to accept dying over n over to go for insane flicks even if you know you'll die, most can never be pro because they can't do this.
I'd say learn you edpi first (so long as you can almost 360 without lifting your mouse) any is fine below 1,000-1,200
Then progress into the longest part, Kovaaks or AimLabs, focus on purely flicks for the first month and tracing second.
