have we started to be honest about the remake being more necessary than we realize? i for one look forward to being able to move while aiming and strafing instead of tank controls, the knife parrying and crouching to dodge attacks is gonna be hella cash money.

There hasnt been a single good resident evil game that didnt have tank controls.
Remake is more difficult than the original
the demos out we know thats not true. wasnt ever mentioned in this thread anyways besides the chud which means it doesnt count. why are you even saying that or responding to anyone besides the chud poster? this is a tank controls are superior thread.
The original is fucking baby shit now bro. The village section is dog shit easy compared to the remake. You need to cope with this reality.
who cares? resident evil has never at any point been a series known for difficulty. the hardest part of the games was simply managing your inventory and safebox.
That's all the more reason to laugh at Ganker for eventually crying the game is too hard.
RE4 was never hard (not even the NTSC GC version), congrats for discovering this in current year.
shh i enjoyed him thinking he had a point
>i for one look forward to being able to move while aiming and strafing instead of tank controls
How old are you
older than you and not blinded by nostalgia, i'm also replaying re4 as we speak to prep my butthole for next friday.
once you remove the fixed camera angles the tank controls no longer belong.
maybe re games aren't to your taste
try halo or call of duty grandpa
i've been playing resident evil since you were sucking on your momma's titties
don't tell me what's to my taste
Is this why you piss yourself? The diapers?
no i piss myself to own the libs
ironically enough last 4 digits of your post is my birth year
You're not even old maybe try playing RE when you weren't sucking tid
i'm still older than you zoomie
>once you remove the fixed camera angles the tank controls no longer belong.
Thats a good argument for bringing back fixed cameras.
>once you remove the fixed camera angles the tank controls no longer belong
this is definitely true. Whenever the game puts you in a situation that isn't enemies slowly approaching towards you it's literally kind of hard to engage with the game, if you stop to face something you're going to eat damage so it's better just to ignore a boss's patterns and just run randomly turning around to take potshots.
>literally kind of
you talk like a fag and your shits all retarded.
maybe so but you realize there are potential issues when you suddenly tie a character's viewpoint to turningspeed when before it was independent.
sure, which brings me back to the post when i was talking to OP
fixed camera and tank controls is simply the way RE is meant to be. remove that stuff and you may as well make a new franchise instead. might be why the fanbase has been so divided over every game since 4.
>might be why the fanbase has been so divided over every game since 4
last i checked only 5 and 6 have any split decisions, and even then 6 is generally regarded as the worst while 5 has been getting more praise in recent times
i don't know anyone who dislikes 7 (nor would i consider their opinions worth listening to if they did) and i've seen a handful of complaints on village but mostly idiotic takes more than actual criticism
>older than you
I sincerely doubt that. Maybe realize you have shit taste and that tank controls created one of the greatest games ever made.
can't even break wooden doors in the remake, TRASH
I for one actually am looking forward to the amount of butthurt this board will have for not being able to cheese their way through pro mode like they did in original.
>aiming and strafing
That is literally the one complaint I have with the remake, it removed the laser aim while standing still. Goddammit the rest was good but I can't get over this shit.
CapCom butchered Leon in the remake
all they have to do to fix the original game is stop spawning enemies behind you on impossible locations, i set ashley to wait in an enclosed room, turn away and she dies by a mace moron that spawned behind her literally 1 second after i turn around, bullshit
I know it's bait, OP, but as unnecessary as RE4R is, it hasn't got shit on Dead Space or THE LAST OF US, which I still can't believe was defended at $70.
re4 at least has the advantage of being 19 years old, which is fair game for a remake
