Aside from actual mental illness, some people absolutely have to because they need a pass to post. The mods have rangebanned residential IPs like no tomorrow since Hiro took over. If you are on CGNAT with any but the most common ISPs, chances are you can't post without a pass.

I simply made a mention that it could be a profitable vocation if one were to commit to it. As far as I am concerend, vidyabutts poster should double down.

Said schizo started following me around on ghost and spawned deathclaws behind me over and over, then had his character "come save me" and try to force me into ERP. They did this a second time after I again told them to frick off and I just gave up on the server

Of course I also wanted to play mod and ban people. So I turned one guy into a spammer, warned him a couple of times and then banned him.

The answer is simple, implement thread IDs. Doesn't make samegayging impossible, but makes it slower and far more tedious.

I have other stories about my time on various space stations, I've also got banned from aurorastation for launching a mininuke at the entirety of security during a standoff after they refused to back down and apparently one of the characters I killed was an admin, so they claimed I over-escalated and bam I was gone.
Everyone was killed by that mininuke, me, the security officers, even my fellow revolutionaries. It was a legendary moment.
I played this one F13 server and met someone who insisted on being my sister, pulled some bullshit to basically use my character's cloned body somehow. Started saying "oh I'm your sibling" and doing tons of 'uwu big sibling' type stuff trying to bait pseudo incest which grossed me out and in character I told him to frick off because it was creepy. I only put up with it at the time because there really weren't other servers up and I was still on a kick. I even offered to do some spritework and in turn got a bizarre schizo rant from the second in command admin, who turned out later to be the same person who played the incest clone. Said schizo started following me around on ghost and spawned deathclaws behind me over and over, then had his character "come save me" and try to force me into ERP. They did this a second time after I again told them to frick off and I just gave up on the server
