If not for it being the only game with that kind of movement without stapling on something I cannot deal with I'd have dropped it. Instead, I'm over 3000 hours in and cannot escape.
I'm starting to get really sick of games that are nothing but a collectathon disguised as something else. Or padded games that make to do 3 this or 3 that, 3 every fricking time.
i played tekken 7 for years in tournaments, that game is and will always be dogshit and T8 looks even worse.
the only good thing to come out of it was that every month i got most of my rent covered from locals. but i had to sit with the most mentally ill moronic cross dressing freaks. none of which could play the game at any level of competency.
after finishing university and getting a real job i was able to play what i actually found fun instead of the e-sports dog shit in my area.
Friend has PS4 and we gather for gaming nights on Fridays or Saturdays. On single player games we swap per chapter or death. Playing Last of Us and Last of Us 2 was a chore I never want to repeat. Gameplay was fun but I wish there was a suicide button so I could die on walking/cutscene segments so I can pass the controller on to the next person...
Fighting Ogdo Bogdo in Jedi Survivor today on grandmaster and yea getting one shot isn't fun but I have too much pride to quit. Its engaging but its not what I'd call "fun".
Paying for it definitely might make me stick it a bit more, but man, if it sucks it sucks and a fool and his money are soon parted, I'm not gonna torture myself too.
Reggie wasn't a gamer. He was a lizard person in a suit whose specialty was spreadsheets and giving speeches about percentages and market shares.
Why would i listen to what he has to say about a computer game? Which he's never played in his life.
Definitely. Finishing unfun game here and there helps me appreciate fun games. Some games that were unfun: Shadow Warrior 3, Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons and DMC2
I won into the beta of Minerwars 2081 through a Descent 3 tournament one time and eventually figured out that Miner Wars is a waste of fricking time after really giving it more chances than it deserved.
If I ever meet Reggie, what should I have him autograph?
an entire Wii Balance Board? Maybe his Book?
The Dark Souls 1 design works book.
What does Reggie have to do with Dark Souls?
Your unwashed scrotum.
Make him hold the pen between his teeth.
I love how threads like this always tilt TLOU2 trannies.
>sotc
>not fun
>admits that Sony movies aren't fun
I'm proud of you, anon. This is real growth.
This until you just couldn't help yourself TLOU2 homosexual
Nope. Life's too short to waste time on something not worth the time.
why do nintodies love this guy? He's just a greedy ceo who never done anything good. his only claim to fame is his willingness to be a meme.
you answered your own question
Coz he was on stage at E3 so people on the internet think he's shigeru miyamoto and he makes every game nintendo ever made since 1975
Nobody said anything about boredom.
This right here, miyazaki's games destroy the """fun""" argument entirely.
Kingdom come deliverance, played it expecting a hard RPG and got fricking disappointment instead. Game was way too easy.
>Have you ever bothered with a game that wasn't fun?
No I quit very soon.
nah. ain't got time to be bored.
Sort of
Pathologic wasn't fun but after suffering through it I was still glad I played it.
Warframe
People told me it gets good 100 hours in
it didn't
If not for it being the only game with that kind of movement without stapling on something I cannot deal with I'd have dropped it. Instead, I'm over 3000 hours in and cannot escape.
Yeah I play Paradox games all the time.
Not like I have anything better to do.
No, I'm not shy about dropping games.
I'm starting to get really sick of games that are nothing but a collectathon disguised as something else. Or padded games that make to do 3 this or 3 that, 3 every fricking time.
yes, hl2
i needed to finish it so i could more thoroughly articulate why it's a bad game
Any fromsoft games, none of them are any fun

hard modes aren't "fun" since you get mad at them and it just wastes your time if you aren't making progress. Are they worthless too?
>getting mad at a video game
not my problem
Fighting Ogdo Bogdo in Jedi Survivor today on grandmaster and yea getting one shot isn't fun but I have too much pride to quit. Its engaging but its not what I'd call "fun".
Nope, I think most people slog through a game they dont enjoy because they simply paid for it
I pirated almost every single game I have ever played and if I don't like something I just instantly uninstall it
Paying for it definitely might make me stick it a bit more, but man, if it sucks it sucks and a fool and his money are soon parted, I'm not gonna torture myself too.
Yeah. Too many to even count. Going back to the 1980s.
Challenge and frustration, and overcoming them, is the entire point of playing games.

I played civ 6 for like 5 minutes I got bored and then refunded it that game was boring as shit
