    It comes and goes.

Sometimes I get really into videogames, finish several in a short time frame, and then get ridiculously bored of them and to kill time i play mindless online garbage, watch movies, have sex with my boyfriend, protest israel, etc.
After a while it comes back and i repeat the cycle by finishing a lot of games again.

Don't know how people don't get burned out from playing story heavy games non stop.

lmao kek, kys, but at the same time I'm jealous, not because I genuinely think having this would make me happy, but because itd be convenient to have a boyfriend to test my bicuriosity on

same. antizionist protestors are all gay and on drugs, but at least they're having fun. i've no friends or talents. the only things i "enjoy" are drinking while watching youtube videos, reading and talking to my father

          >but at least they're having fun.

sometimes I think about this. if it'd all be easier, if I just have up on everything I cared about and "just had fun". but I'm not sure I could do it at this point. I care too much.

          >i've no friends or talents. the only things i "enjoy" are drinking while watching youtube videos, reading and talking to my father

same, except I don't drink because I'm 21 and am a good boy that stayed away from alcohol (plus whenever I triied it, it always tasted like ass)

no reason to start drinking then, especially by yourself. it's fun for the first month or two, but it loses its luster and becomes the new norm. i don't even really like it, but i just drink every night at 10pm because that's what i've been doing for a few years.

Why do so many virgins lay with one arm hanging out like that?

Yeah, after taking a break from videogames (solid 3 years) I picked up my old 360 again and started burning and playing games that I always wanted to play but never had the time. Also trying to get some achievements. It's clunky? Yes. Does the games run worse? Of course. Is it still fun? It is. Maybe is nostalgia but sitting and playing with a controller feels much better than playing on PC with M+KB.

It comes and goes, usually either I get back into some bullshit like dota or I play something fresh like the Jak 2 port that I hadnt played.
Side note. Has someone got the version of this with Vanilla and Classic WoW?

Never lost it, and I doubt I'll ever lose it there is just too much stuff I want to play, too many hidden gems yet to be discovered, not just new releases but games from previous generations, with a gaming PC and emulation you can play anything and I intent to find those gems.

I never lost it and i'm 30. You're not losing your "passion for games", you're fricking depressed and losing the drive to do anything

Yes when I initially lost motivation I thought it was me getting older or something else on my end but really It came from playing a bunch of shit games or the same games, gotta stir the pot.

It's coming back but just as one small part of my life. I don't want video games to be one of my few interests. Being lonely also makes playing video games a lot more intolerable, I think I need a social circle before I can truly enjoy them again.

    Follow up question: How?
I'm currently in a bit of a downward spiral of not enjoying playing games, life depression, tfwnoqt3.14gf etc. and I really want to get back in. Wat do

    >Inb4 Black person answer

Ive had the same "downward" spiral maybe. Played like 2 or 3 games in a row that I had high expectations for. And we're disappointments. Whenever that happens I lose faith in Vidya and can't get myself to play anything. The way I "solve" this. Is via two things: Formulating a theme or "vibe" I'm feeling and try to find a game that fills that whole. For example, a while ago I REALLY wanted a shooter that was also an adventure game, because I had recently played a game that was a half assed version of that, and wanted to see that fulfilled. Ironically the ONLY recent game played I've enjoyed was the answer to this. But yeah.

Then another time when I was in a rut, I just randomly said frick it and played Death Stranding and it was also one of the best games I had played. This obviously only works assuming you're not a close minded Gankertard that judges games based on shit like "moviegame". I'm open to all games. Just gotta justify themselves in my mind

Why are you americans so depressed like geniunely. I live in a third world shithole and people still live happy lives. Life is generally pretty chill granted we dont have your luxuries.

A mix of things honestly. Our media heavily pushes for demoralizing people (even looking up articles about depression in the USA resort to blaming things that aren't a problem but our homosexuals in charge want them to be) and in general American culture has been shifting away from people building long lasting personal relationships, so everyone involved with that whether they realize it or not is feeling at least a little lonely.
