NTA, but I'm 28 and while I do have significant downtime during my work hours, (which I set, by the way) I can't say I use that time to engross myself in ecelebs, I do like chugga's LP's though. I usually do little jobs around my house so I don't have to do them after I finish work, do my duolingo lessons, watch some anime, or play vidya on my deck, vita, DS, 3DS, or Switch (all but deck are hacked, but you don't need to hack the deck anyway).
I watch chugga for background while grinding in Digimon, DQM or SMT now and then, and I listen to either him or Oney when grinding for shit on ESO. (no sub fee thank God, but I seriously dread expansions now for how much shit they add). Having caught up with this drama on /vp/, he's not done anything egregious, I just see troons being troons and terminally online cretins trying to make him kill himself because they think as long as they punch up, it doesn't matter how much damage they actually do. I still like Chugga's content, and I'm due to start minmaxing movesets on DDS2 (emulated on deck) soon, so I'll rewatch his Emerald playthrough while doing so.
Honestly the saddest part about this entire situation is that it's pretty damn unlikely that we will ever see him doing a LP of X/Y. I really want to see that.

NTA, but I'm 28 and while I do have significant downtime during my work hours, (which I set, by the way) I can't say I use that time to engross myself in ecelebs, I do like chugga's LP's though. I usually do little jobs around my house so I don't have to do them after I finish work, do my duolingo lessons, watch some anime, or play vidya on my deck, vita, DS, 3DS, or Switch (all but deck are hacked, but you don't need to hack the deck anyway).
I watch chugga for background while grinding in Digimon, DQM or SMT now and then, and I listen to either him or Oney when grinding for shit on ESO. (no sub fee thank God, but I seriously dread expansions now for how much shit they add). Having caught up with this drama on /vp/, he's not done anything egregious, I just see troons being troons and terminally online cretins trying to make him kill himself because they think as long as they punch up, it doesn't matter how much damage they actually do. I still like Chugga's content, and I'm due to start minmaxing movesets on DDS2 (emulated on deck) soon, so I'll rewatch his Emerald playthrough while doing so.

In Scarlet, I have run into several shinies, but I feel that the value of shinies in Scarlet/Violet have plummeted so I'm not going to go into those, except that I ran into a shiny Wattrel in my first playthrough semi early on, so he ended up on my main team.

Same, except mine was a Tentacruel while I was grinding them to level new party members up to my par. I didn't recognize it was shiny and killed it, and only realized it was shiny later after reflecting upon it, not even really sure if I saw the shiny animation.
My first natural full-odds shiny was a Nidorina in the Safari Zone in LeafGreen. Later I also caught a shiny Metapod in the Viridian Forest, same game, while I was EV training some Pokemon there. When I played XY I also found a full-odds shiny Azurill on Kalos Route 3, I was pretty thrilled about that.
All my other shinies have been RNG manipulated, chained, gifts, from Go, or the result of SV's absurd stupid shiny odds.
I thought to myself why the frick does this look different and caught it for shits and giggles then when I next fought a tentacool (on the surfing patch between New Bark and Route 27) I was like "oh shit that might be a missingno" and then checked and saw the different colour. this was back in like 2002 maybe.

my only other one to memory was a shiny haunter in PLA (I replace it with the one on my team and forgot that shiny gengar was dog shit and it was shiny mega that looked good)
yes, all of them in fact. (not counting event mons) It weren't many thou, only 1 before Gen6 and 5 or so in ORAS, but by then I already didn't care and they weren't rare anymore.
