It'll mostly just be a comic with accompanying dialogue and narration, akin to Library of Ruina's storytelling; culminating in a high-fidelity multi-stage sex animation with some special bells and whistles added on top. Adding 2D sidescroller combat will be one of our stretch goals!

Every time I see you post it seems like your gameplay is something different. I know you're actually working on something though, given what video you used to post in gamedev threads.
The gameplay we had initially envisioned was, sadly, not very viable from an amount-of-assets-needed point of view. Maybe if we had a few more heads to churn out content en masse, we could have tried to continue pursuing that route. The animation pipeline we were employing will still be used, they just won't be the sole focus of the game! A treat, rather than the main course.

I played it for the first time recently, and most of the Eve's route was written quite well. Dropped it after that.
WEGs are mostly much worse than hentai in practically every respect, be it audiovisual, plot and the multitude of story paths. For example, the old Bible Black had many endings, completely different from each other. Of the Western games I've played, most are complete crap, but Being a Dik, Summer Heat, What a Legend and My Pig Princess are exceptionally good, especially Being a Dik, which in my opinion is better than anything Japan has produced recently.

Game overs result in the zombies fricking them to death in FMV cutscenes. The gore cutscenes cut way too quickly from fricking to murdering in my opinion, and they don't last long enough to get much from either side of things.
