X was good. X 2 was also good. 12 was good. Truly we didnt know how good we had it. They shit the bed so hard with 13 it literally killed the franchise.

I think the story is super fun and is the only one with a movie like feel to it. It's an easy story to follow and understand. For sure my recommendation to someone who has not played a JRGP before.

I never had a PS2 so my first time playing this was when it came out on Vita. They put the line where Rikku tells Tidus this in the TV commercial. I had know idea it was supposed to be a plot twist while playing and when I got to it I was pissed that they ruined the impact of that scene for all the newcomers before they even got ahold of the game.
Still the best Final Fantasy.
