yeah I just got base hermit cat, I used to play this game very sparingly, but these few months I've spent like 100 leaderships just to get on the right track regarding sol and advent stages, it's fun

headmaster catjob is a broken unit, perma weaken at 99% with surge is just so good, bores and bunbun become crippled and that can even deal with r.ost with some luck
Wasn't planning on getting any of the Merc Storia units since I assumed they were all outdated old collab units but some seem actually more than decent. Nono is pretty much a better Gas Mask for black meatshielding, Orthos is a midrange with ok DPS and Juvens and Eyewaltz are legitimately above average ubers
hearscht is good for full metal stages but outside of that you can't really use her. Still a niche no one else really has
Mystica's range might be appealing but you are probably better off using Aphrodite or something

After wasting over 10 rich cats and 3 Leaderships I finally did it by uber carry instead of some weird strategy with stupidly precise timing on every suicide unit
Meanwhile I finally reached Floor 30 and Hermit is fricking me lube-free. Doesn't help that the only unit with Wave Block that I have and that actually moves is Octopus, which can't really take more than two Waves anyway. All my Tank Cat variants fall instantly, Metal Cat gets knocked back after the second attack loop, is the only way I could possibly defeat him to just spam freezers and hope he gets permafrost?
I stopped after Hermits floor the last time and I was in the same position. The trick was to release a Manic Mohawk between his attacks to keep Hermit in place the whole round while your wave immune attackers like Dancer Cat and Musashi attack from a distance rather than using a wave blocker. You can use the pillars in the background as estimation, though you'll need to learn the timing. The difficult part is when the peons come out and mess the rhythm, or when you accidentally push too far and it becomes harder to time Manic Mohawk and Hermit pushes you in response. If you don't have any wave immune attackers then it might be too early for you to attempt the stage, the stage is piss easy once you have stuff like Golden Cat and Uberfests
IIRC the way I first beat him was spamming meat shields and wave immune ubers.
After many attempts trying to get the timing right, I managed to whittle Hermit's health down to 60% (which is big for me since my previous record was 91%), but since I used the "keep him super close to the base so that his wave goes over the spawnpoint sooner" strat, him getting knocked back messed everything up.
Also the only wave immune unit I have that targets traitless is my Dark Iz, so a melee unit that doesn't even get to land a hit.
Yeah when I did it the last time I only had Dancer Cat (bad range) and Leotard Ranma (large blind spot) as wave immune units so it was a very annoying battle too. At least Dark Iz has a quick recharge time. All I can advise is to keep a second in reserve and don't get two out at the same time because they're going to push too hard and get themselves killed and you'll end up with no attackers. You'll always want to have just one in play at a time
I did it. I'm pretty sure I dropped more than five leaderships on this one stage, but I finally defeated Hermit.
My biggest mistake wasn't actually spawning more than one wave immune unit, but spawning Metal Cat at all - only after multiple blunders did I realize that the reason why Hermit sometimes sends out one wave and sometimes two was because there was actually someone to hit with the second one - namely Metal. And that really messed with my meatshield spawning rhythm.
Of course, the rest was ubercarry. My fresh new Phonoa and, surprisingly, Eyewaltz really helped.
But by next time I'll have enough Epicfest exclusives to clear the stage even faster.
Finally... Don't think I want to bother with Infernal Tower yet though
Good work. Yeah surge and wave enemies love Metal Cat and Zamboni because it gives them a reliable target to set off their attacks on your other units. If you can get Golden Cat's TF it really trivialises the meatshielding on that stage
I struggled through Floors 32 through 34, but surprisingly, Floor 35 was as easy as 31, cleared it with my usual ani-traitless team.
I can oly hope next stages won't kick my ass TOO much.
the OG strategy for him before ranged wave blockers was to use manic lion as a meatshield since he can take two attacks, for example in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUqw62CE0SE. it was by no means easy though since you still have to contend with the peons giving him space to attack your backliners

It'd be an incredibly unique ability and they don't do that in this game unless they plan to implement it on other units and enemies. Still waiting for a Warp unit since it's actually a filter option in the cat guide
Similar to what that anon had as an idea, I've been toying with a potential slime cast true form that would simply add z-kill and soulstrike.
Z-kill is a straight upgrade of course, but soulstrike could be a good or bad thing depending on the situation.
Ideally, slime's true firm shouldn't give too much of a boost, so this is what I came up with.
Haha, I did it, I beat Merciless XP. And totally by accident too, because I started it without catching which XP stage it was (must've thought it was the Megablitz), and only realized when the black Bore showed up. But I guess catseye-leveling my units paid off.
I also didn't know the stage was a single-clear one. Oh well, on Saturday I'll see if it was just a fluke or not.
I always found it easier than Colosseum since Bore runs up to you and you can easily take care of it quickly before the snipers become a problem. Colosseum throws multiple Bunbun while Nyandam and later Tackeys keep getting in your way
I remember when I had to see like a couple meatshield slowly kill a pack of those stupid fricks because they had stacked too much and where just un aproachable
Wasn't a fluke. Didn't go as smooth as last time, Tackeys decimated my ubers before I could deal with the second Razorback, but between Bombspam, Cat Jobs weakening everyone in sight, and Pizza and Gasmask going to work on the enemies, I managed to pull through until I could spawn my ubers again.
I won't say it's a gamechanger, but an extra 6M XP a week (at least) is a most welcome addition.

Could go for him just because of anti-floating, but Hanzo seems better.
Daliasan isn't used for flying crowd control or even behemoth slayer necessarily, he's a fairly bulky long distance backliner/sniper with above average DPS that you bring in to deal with stuff like the anteater variations

Daliasan/hanzo would be your best shots, both are great vs floatings. If you're already satisfied with having lucifer as a longranger and need something without a blindspot to deal with fast units like lil bun bun, hanzo would probably be the pick.
Terun is a solid unit with a fast cooldown but personally I find daliasan to be more useful than her for farming most colossals since she dies really fast to most of them.
I wouldn't go extremely far out of my way for her, but yeah, she has her uses. there are few other units that can knockback to the extent that she can, and she still has great dps which is always helpful

Merc Storia banner has different units from the regular banners so you can check and use it to bypass the unwanted track swaps if there's nothing else you want before it
Yeah, but I don't have enough juice to get all the way there. And while it would be helpful in getting me to the first legend, the path between them is such a ridiculous mess of back-and-forths you would not believe it.
I will either need guaranteed ubers to switch tracks to the ones I want, drop plat tickets to sidestep the swaps I don't want, or another collab with limited Rares so that their order goes out of whack and the track swaps disappear in the first place.
But I'll have to stock up on my gold tickets and cf anyhow, so there's no hurry.

If you're still in early game then the low max energy is very annoying. You'll just have to play bit by bit and get more boosts by unlocking the RNG treasures and clearing the zombie outbreaks. Story of Legends and event stages are very pricey at that point in the game. Once you have >600 max energy then you won't really feel limited anymore and you'll probably be sitting on a bunch of Leaderships at that point

It's a "play while on the shitter for 20 minutes, for the rest of your life" kind of game, you end up swimming in leadership (energy reflls) if you play long enough

Nope, but there are special stages where you can only use those units, so you need to farm if you want to clear them
I'm not sure how many I've done, but my latest 10-pull on the love letters only dropped a single unit, the guaranteed one. With the previous ones I would get at least 3/10, so lets hope this is just an outlier.

Ah, so the total of units I need just went from 134 to 164. And I got about 30 more units since I last celebrated only having to get another hundred, so now I can celebrate it again.
It gets better, now that I've reached this point: Class Rep Cat is actually the only one of the batch that DOESN'T go up to +40. Probably will get the additional 10 levels next year.

It ruffles my feathers a little bit to see Hades rank relatively low on many tier lists. I think he's exceptional. My generalist teams usually involve the blue-eyed freaks + him, and he single-handedly turns a ton of boss stages throughout the game into a joke.
Yeah I really like him too. He stands out from the many generic backliners and fast recharge close to mid range generalist units that die too fast or have too many knock backs to properly tank. What I like most actually is his rapid attack rate and high DPS. Everyone brings it up as a detriment since it's low damage per hit and keeps knocking back shit like Brollows, but so many tank units like Cat Machine and Kai have such long attack animations and TBA they tend to miss more often than not
depends on how much you make use of him. if you use him a lot, then yeah, it's a good investment. personally, I haven't used him a whole lot after getting dkasli
I noticed a single point in strengthen boost is a straight 23% attack increase so I just dropped a point on both Ganesha and Maeda Keiji in the meantime. I also have Dasli yeah so I feel like Ganesha might be a bit redundant

He's pretty essential for cyberstacking but nobody really uses it outside of that since it's so slow and doesn't actually do any damage. You'll get another chance someday if you think it's too many tickets to get to him right now

He dies too easily on me. The short recharge time for an uber doesn't really make up for that. It is almost like having a luga that exchanged its long range for power.
Then learn to use him for that purpose. He's kinda not meant to be an all-conquering unit. But he has his uses and the combo. Came in clutch 3-crown Cat Catharsis.

If an enemy has more than one trait (like the VBs, or Twocan, or BunBun variants, or something like that), and I send out a unit that is strong against both traits, it WON'T, in fact, be twice as effective, right? All it does is it opens up a larger pool of units I can use against them, right?

The actual banner for the collab says something about a 35th anniversary (I don't know of what, since neither the wiki page for Bikkuriman nor that of their parent company Lotte says anything about 1984), so maybe they'll come back for the 40th? Anubis is kind of meh, Chronos seems like a better Valkyrie, and Ganesha looks like an ungabunga type, while Vigler is anti-aku, which I need now that I started Aku Realms, Cat Clan targets Relics (which I'm still a bit away from, but it's better to be prepared), and Lesser Demon is limited time only, so I lean towards them.
Either way I'd be getting a dupe Lucifer from 20B. Hilariously, there are three ubers on the B-track within he first 35 steps and they're all Lucifer.

I'd try to focus on getting chronos (and maybe ganesha as well if you need a good lr generalist). she's like a mini-mitama who also synergizes really well with the actual mitama since they won't overwrite each other's debuffs. her tf also doesn't improve her by a lot, so you won't be missing out on much.
Id go Vigler, switch banners then pull Chronos, then pull for Ganesha. while being a seasonal limited, lovestruck lesser demon is inferior to the regular version even with the RNG debuffs.
Now that the Fate banner info has released, should I pick Ganesha after all, or wait a few days and pick Rider? I DID just pick Chronos as far as freezing units are concerned, but Rider looks much better when it comes to the Angel niche.

On paper he looks like a solid akuber. No one cares about freezing reds or blacks anymore so his other traits are a bonus, but a level 3 wave + 50% shield pierce means you could get all shields wiped off every ~21 seconds on average. 50% freeze as well but >cc'ing aku. Just beware of his long foreswing.
Finally cleared Crazed Moneko. Since we've just been talking about Metal Seal and Corrupted Moneko has a 100% Crit, is she useful against it by herself? Or only really as a part of a combo with Regular Moneko?
Yeah if you protect her ofc she can get an attack off but she's really only gonna land 1 decent crit and then die pretty fast. And I have no idea what those guys were trying to do by downplaying nanaho she worked out just fine (frick you 390% sms).
Crazed Moneko is a very important anti metal unit, mainly just because of the crit up combo with Moneko. CM herself is okay, she's so cheap youre gonna be deploying her on metal stages because why not but she's useful for farming the inevitable metal doge waves that every metal stage starts with. Aside from that, her usefulness is shaky.
If you want to obliterate metal seals, get waitress cat
My milestone isn't nearly as impressive, but I went back to the Future to beat all the timed challenges I had left and I just finished Moon 3. Probably around 200 CF in all, just waiting to be claimed.
Lovestruck Demon worth it? Everyone seems to say it's shit but that's just in comparison to talented TF Demon which is one of the best units in the game isn't it

I started working through Aku Reals, and I've got to say, Luke from SF5 is crazy good, at least for those early stages. Insta barrier break and strong against traited? He's cleaning out the peons once I get enough money to send him out.
He's good and the savage blow + shield pierce are nice when they proc, but I've pretty much replaced him with Sirius since getting her since her immunity to status and fast recharge are just too good

Yeah. Tap on the title of a stage to see the units in it, then just scroll through till you see 2 you want, then look up the stage timings so you don't instagib it.
Either toggle "simulate guaranteed 11" or the last White Day banner in the upcoming banners section. The last one will have guarantees simulated because that's the only period where 100% uber is active.

No, trust. It'll come out on April 7th, every seasonal gacha has a guaranteed banner near three days before the end of the event.
So far behind. Too many games and no way to get good catfood although this was years since I seriously played I'm not doing the Adcuck routine to get single units of catfood.

I have been playing for exactly 1 year and you'd be surprised at how catfood can build up over time by playing. I think I made like around 25k catfood for free during my time playing and without any ad watching (Except the few times I did it at the start before realizing how awful it is).
That said it is incredibly important that you use your catfood well by seed tracking if you're F2P. 25k catfood was enough to basically get me all the most important units to the point where I don't really care about the gacha much anymore because anything I roll just feels weaker than what I have already since I just sniped the best units.
Also don't forget that cat tickets basically convert into rare tickets, so do your cat ticket stages and you'll find yourself with a lot of extra rare tickets. If you're too early in the game to convert tickets just know that once you hit the point where you can you'll suddenly feel like you're getting a lot more free rolls.
I mean, there's always new units and the associated power creep that comes with that to look forward to. So it's not entirely always going to remain boring as updates come through.
I'm thinking of grabbing Lucifer the Fallen and Hades the Punisher when the guaranteeds come up, but are they actually decent? I thought they looked decent on the wiki.
Lucifer has surge at 550 standing range IIRC so he should be at least decent
Hades is pretty good from my experience. Plenty of health, low knock back and decent range to survive a long time and very consistent attack pattern with decent DPS. Might not be something you'd want to put against close range DPS stuff like Bore or Capy but it's good for tanking high range enemies like Camelle
lucifer is similar to aphrodite but with more relevance in the endgame due to aku typing and surge immune.
hades is really hampered by his long cooldown but he still comes in handy on stages that restrict unit count, or when you need a tank who doesn't care about traited/untraited/curse.
Lucifer is definitely incredibly good against Aku now because of his TF and his recent new combo with cactus cat giving a strong up combo which is a no brainer vs Aku. He also has surge immunity which is really helpful since late game Uncanny Legend stages spam the frick out of surges.
That said Lucifer isn't really that great as a generalist mostly because he has a horribly ginormous blind spot. If you want a generalist you should look for Aphrodite (Or Phono potentially) instead.

Iron Wall style, Curseblast Foundation and Waterblast Style seem pretty good, The latter two might be able to ease the pain for Master Uril's TF stage.

So as I've mentioned, I farm Jinfore 3 - partially because it's the highest one I'm confident about, but also because early on I got two Yellow stones out of it within a week. But at this point I don't even remember how long it's been and I've barely gotten any stones out of it ever since, and none yellow ones. So should I just bite the bullet and use two Treasure Radars? I assume once I trueform Kanna she'll turn Darkjos into a joke?

Okay, I used a TR and still only got a Green stone, so that's not gonna work out.
I get all my yellow stones through enigma maps, it's not too bad if you have units that can get into behemoth owlbrow's blindspot. as for kanna, she does pretty good against darkjo but she doesn't demolish them as quickly as you would expect since they're surge immune.
Still making my way through SoL, I'm not even getting Blue or Green yet (although I'm close to getting my fourth Legendary unit). I guess I just keep doing what I've been doing in the meantime.
It's me again, I cleared Two Shadows the other day and today I tried clearing Jinfore 5. After five tries I managed to beat Darkjo after he went to town on my base, only for the random still alive Owlbrow to do one final hit. And this was the last try before time ran out on the stage, so I can't even rework my team qnd try again.
Cleared it. Needed Sniper and Rich Cat to do it, hopefully in the future I'll get to the point where I don't.
And after like two Leaderships I defeated two crown Gilgamesh stage. I know it's just another 50%, but I don't think I'll even try 3-crown, there's no RNG in the world that'll let me defeat a 250% Metal Seal.

By comparison, Jinfore 6 was a cakewalk, I didn't even need to use Rich Cat. AND I got a Yellow Stone, finally. One more and I finally TF Kanna.

My user level is nearing 12000 and I have used archer about four times. I can see his benefits but I never really needed him because I boosted the shit out of camerman so early.
Oh you meant fate archer. Disregard my other post I thought you meant archer cat. Wave immunes are always nice but I've got exactly zero fate units so no idea whats what.
Looking on paper, I'd take Archer over Rin any day of the week. Archer has a long ass range which gives him a sniper niche with Wave Immunity tacked on, but Rin has a horrid niche of KB'ing Alien and Zombies. Don't have either though, so I can't speak from experience.
archer's a wave immune aphro clone, rin is your average unremarkable backliner. objectively speaking archer is way more useful, but if you have other units like dark kasli or phono, you'll probably forget about his existence entirely outside of labyrinth/legend quest/etc.
In the new continuing saga of me getting Manics, I can honestly say that Lion wad WAY more annoying than Axe. Ended up having to use items to clear it.
Is there a proper event calendar for the game anywhere? I know there's one ingame, but it doesn't show stuff like crazed/advent/etc. stages, and while you can find the data abouth them on the wiki, it's the complete opposite of what I mean.
There's been sites for every single other thing about the gane, so I figure a calendar would be one of the first things the community would cook up

Finally got it right on the third try (somewhat, I had to stall out until my Ubers started recharging), but I still dropped 1500 energy and three Cat Jobs to get little over 1.5M XP. I could've ran the basic XP stage and would've gotten slightly more.
Yeah merciless is funny like that. I can beat it very consistently but sometimes it just fricks with you to the point that you start wondering if they've done a stealth rebalance. But they havent. You are likely just out of your groove.

if it's not a "no continues" stage, just force close the game if it looks like you're going to lose.
Aliens have an entire non-special banner dedicated to killing them and every new unit released gives you a new method of potentially dealing with Aliens, sometimes alongside something else.
Well Red's the obvious one. Every red nowadays has to be specifically made in a way that courier cat doesnt just hard counter them, usually by making it really fricking annoying to approach them.
Red still has some enemies you actually gotta watch out for, but Black's kinda been left on the wayside lately. Only Tackey(even after so many years) really is still a threat from that trait
I feel bad for black, I have about 20 different ways to nuke them from here to next week. Any new blacks should be freeze immune. Now that I'm saying this, I'm realising I don't really want to potentially deal with a freeze proof black prof.a, r.ost or cappy in future, so maybe don't do that please ponos.

Okay, since they fixed the Easter banner and I'm not getting Ubers from pink spots, instead of Sakura on 14B I'll go for Blooming Kamakura, and get Sakura as a Guaranteed on my fourth multi at 43B, and this way I'll be gettingthe Rare Rider the Cat after all, completing the set. Too bad about only getting one Easter Uber, but oh well. Only twelve more months until their next banner.

You could potentially game this to switch tracks to retrieve an uber slot you couldn't before, but it's random and cannot be predicted beforehand.
General advice still stands unless you have a contingency plan for a Cat appearance.
They have an underground section where discussion about tracking and other stuff is permitted, it's just cordoned off from the main server and you have to have a certain role or whatever to gain access.

Fortunately he has a big blindspot, so as long as you get in there, you're golden. The real problem is when he gets knocked back right as the metal enemies approach, then you need some luck with critting or you're fricked.

What the frick, is it literally impossible for Major Leaguer Cat to break an UltraBaa's barrier? I had catellites in front of it, but no matter how hard it tried, it never broke. Does that range get into the blindspot?
Major Leaguer's actual attack range (425-650) extends beyond his standing range (275), so if the first thing he meets is an UltraBaaBaa, he won't be able to hit it.

On the "plus" side, try as I might I can't clear lvl. 17 of the Fate Gauntlet, so I guess there's one less energy sponge.
the trick is to rush gilgamesh with a strong anti traitless rusher - I used iz of grief + talented yuki (though bahamut can prolly work too) until the max talent and then the rest of the units are easy to stall since none of them can one shot lvl 50 m eraser
Kinda want Lancer just for an extra Fate unit but he's so painfully generic and I already have Ryu/Kage who's pretty much his equivalent as a 480 range generic collab unit. I should just get Rabbit Satoru since he's a little more interesting
there aren't that many stages out yet, and all of them seem to have the same drop rates, so it's kind of moot. just going down the list it looks like Protons, Neutrons, and Morons is the best overall since it costs the least out of the ones available (albeit only by 10 energy) and isn't too difficult. when zl3 comes out, it'll have another stage with the same energy cost but better rates for bricks/feathers/meteorites, so maybe that could be an alternative.
Man, frick that duck. The worst thing is, it's attack rate is perfect to stun-lock my Issun Boshi. What good is a rusher with Massive Damage to Traitless and Angels if he can't connect?
A strong, anti traitless dps with decent range and LD is a very good niche to have.
Just right off the bat, I can see him being a strong check to Bore jr, Wild Doge and R ost. All very strong and dangerous pushers. The wave immunity is just the cherry on top.
I guess I'm reluctant because I've been kinda disappointed by the collab SR unit Genma which is very similar to this one. Hitman does have much better speed, recharge time and LD to ensure he doesn't miss as much I guess
She's OK but kinda underwhelming yeah if you already have Dasli since she dies pretty fast with only 400 standing range. Also Wild Doges are annoying pieces of shits on Behemoth stages that will eat through your frontline while ignoring your surges and get a bite in. Long range blind spot on surge units and Courier certainly don't help
Being the only uber with behemoth slayer so far is a pretty strong niche to have. Until you get the tf of uncanny legends she'll really be your only choice against behemoths.
The 1000 range on the last hit is pretty nice too
If she's good enough to deal with Darkjos even if they're surge immune, I'll be happy.
If she's not, I'll be going "well, that figures".

Something that boosts her stats so she can take piercing hits, plus surge/wave immunity at the bare minimum. Metagame right now isnt kind to slow, long range units at all

I'm slowly going through SoL, reached Beverly Hills Scoop (battle-cats.fandom.com/wiki/Beverly_Hills_Scoop) and took it on with my usual anti-Normal team with the addition of Pizza Cat for the Tackeys. And I guess I should've planned it out better, because that was NOT the correct strategy. But, thankfully, I dropped the first R.Ost and managed to push the Tackeys away from my base while it only had 6000HP left.
But when the time comes to do 2-crowns and higher, I'll have to figure out something else.
Aw yeah she's pretty good. I've been wanting a fast rapid attacker like her and she also has decent range and recharge rate. The other rusher units I have like Yukimura and Darktanyan just have either so little survivability because of their range or their attack animation is a little longer than I like

Honestly I don't remember manic fish being terribly difficult. I do remember struggling a bit with li'l island however
I wouldn't say I liked it, but I think I first cleared it as a catamin stage and then, when my energy regenerated enough, I took on the regular version to get that extra 30 cf, because after figuring out the trick to it, it wasn't that bad. Also my anti-reds are pretty stacked.
But since I don't have any good ranged anti-traitless (I don't count Ururun because I said "good"), I had to rely on Cyborg/Haniwa spam to take care of the Islands, and pure luck to know when to start spawning my anti-Reds and Octopuses to make sure they would be useful against Berserkory and not die uselessly.

Will TFed saber be useful for Legend Quest Last Level (Assuming she would be kept in the randomized loadout) or would that be a waste of a slot and something more useful can be substituted (if it is available ofc)?
she's a good choice, but I personally fill my slots with as many tanky/cc anti-floatings as I can instead because massive damage isn't going to help much if mecha-bun just smashes right through all your collab trash.
I was in a similar position - had two Legends close by, but I needed a guaranteed uber banner and/or a collab with limited Rare Cats to get them. So I could either get as many Fate units as possible or don't pull for like another month so I could get my hands on the Legends.
Now my next Legend spot is 119 steps away, and after that I literally have only one in the span of a 1000 steps (second at 448 away from the first one and the third one at 555 away from the second, after that it's sort of normal), but I figure I'll get to them before the next Fate collab. We've also had the Street Fighter collab not so long ago, so unless they drop a Bikkuriman banner when I'm still in the middle of my Legend dry spell, I figure I'm covered.

Cleared Mount Aku, more than halfway through, and only have Norway to do before all of of the Old World is done and dusted.

Well, today's one becomes available when I'm at work, so I won't be able to check, but I *did* clear the Aku Fruit stages, so that's cool, I guess. So now I wonder, is there a database where I can filter Cats by what catfruit they need for TF? Or do I have to figure out a way to get a list of all the pages on the wiki that use a particular image?
I finally got to clear the first Bonanza stage. Surprisingly easy, I didn't even get to spawn one of the anti-Aku ubers until way late, but at least now I know who I can safely replace with Cat Jobs for extra xp.
If you make sure to do the Bonanza + Merciless every time they're available you won't have anymore Exp issues and you can start going for the cateye proving ground stage instead of the exp one. I'm sitting on 40m+ exp now

Been doing them since hitting UL and unlocking the level cap. Failed a few times early on but you still get 2 random cateyes on the stages you beat anyway so it's not too bad. The 5th stages are somewhat tough due to the generalist loadout you have to use, with one being a metal stage featuring a buffed metal seal supported by a Cli-One and the other being a black stage with zombies burrowing so the black enemies can kill your frontline
I'll change my previous question: I know there's a list of priority TFs when it comes to rare fruit, are Aku Fruits on there as well? Could someone please post it?
there's this image, but I think it's way out of date. personally, I'd put lilin/yamii/lucifer/satoru/hevijak as top choices above fiend/mad duck. lilin/satoru destroy akus, yamii is the best uber wave blocker, lucifer gets a solid dps boost, and hevijak just becomes better overall. not sure if there have been any other notable ones that use aku fruits, but that's all that comes to my mind

I have nine less units than you. Ive been getting ass raped by RNG after some stages where I lose 5-7 units but with no rescues available. currently on floor 57 with 219 units remaining.

Just want to add my two cents, but Nymph cat is greatly overrated in this list because it's a super rare. In reality Nymph isn't very good because her massive blind spot gets her destroyed by Aku Gory, the knockback isn't very useful (Despite being called a "Good anti-aku CC), and she can't handle the actually difficult Akus like Fallen bear.
Gold cat is significantly better than you'd think, as a 75 cost meatshield with a fast cooldown is a god send in any wave stage and can trivialize them IF you have lots of wave immune ubers. Basically it gets better the better your uber pool is. Even if Li'l macho gets wave immunity gold cat will still be good just because of its faster cooldown.
Mighty Deth-Troy is also severely underrated in this list because it gets access to one of the best attack up combos in the game. The actual unit isn't exceptional but the attack up is excellent.
Seconding this post. Gold cat is handy as frick and Nymph is shit in my experience, I havent got any useful play out of her. Maybe hypermaxed nymph might be ok or something idk.

I got Poseidon and Windy so I considered it to be worth it since I still need to beat zombie outbreaks and am always grinding straight of wings.
It all depends on what units you have, really. If one were lucky with one's gacha pulls, one'd probably be able to clear it with even lower UR.

While I'd like them to add new generic gacha rare and super rare units which have been the same for a while, they're basically doing that via free advent and egg units
And free units have the added benefit of making "Gachaless" runs more viable.
The Brainwashed cats are gacha Super Rares that have been added fairly recently, weren't they?
Which makes me wonder: if they were to release a new gacha batch, would you rather it was some random ideas, or should they follow a theme, like Brainwashed or the Mining Corps?
Also I feel the need to point out that just like with limited collabs, a new gacha rare would require changing the track to accommodate, meaning track swaps would move as well, invalidating any and all long-term planning.
sorta, he easily kills them but the problem is that they almost always appear with other enemies to stand in front. you usually have to rely on hoping that you can sneak him in when there's a hole in the front lines.
I sure wish I had infinite NP. Max talented units are just an entirely different experience. And I have only done Jurassic cat and Dark Lazer (minus the status resist talent) so far.
I think Sanzo's target angel, Cyberpunk's slow, and Cancan's money up and speed up are really great to have. There's other good ones but those are probably the most important.
Disagree. I wish I had unlimited catseyes so I can get everything to the max non-plus levels. These units get the job done and still manage to be very usable without being downright overpowered (because if you need that, just use dasli lol) and so it keeps the game fun. NP is really just for the necessary talents, I've found so far, so it doesn't ruin my experience personally.
I don't blame them. Making something that requires you to either hyper roll for bonus units or slog through the pit of 100 trials actually useful would be demoralizing. But at the same time, if they ever make Dark eyes more available and make Super talents better, the ones getting shafted now will forever be meh.
Just go beat Doguemon and pray for Hunters Map 3 like the rest of us. Or continuously keep slogging through Lava Caves area 11 to get 1 yellow stone every blue moon.
With the rate they are releasing these egg units they really just need to make a weekly buffet or proving grounds style stage for cubes instead, I was on top of it at first but its getting really fricking hard to keep up now.
Can someone explain talent orbs to me like I'm a moron? I fully understand atk and def orbs, but how do the other orbs work? Eg: massive damage etc? Do the units you give them to have to corresponding skill to get the multiplier or do they just work? eg: if I give Cyborg an s-rank red massive orb, does she get a small red multiplier or is it just wasted? By the same token do resist orbs work for a non resist unit or do you just stick with def orbs?

The 3rd option would be D'arktanyan according to older data but epicfest isn't coming back before the update and the new uber will probably shift the order. Which option do I go for?

He's not really as good in the current state of the game but he's still pretty good. Pizza cat is a much better investment as an anti-black though and courier is better as a general mid-range rusher unit, even though he's not as stackable.

Nono is pretty much a better Gas Mask for black meatshielding, Orthos is a midrange with ok DPS and Juvens and Eyewaltz are legitimately above average ubers

Meanwhile I finally reached Floor 30 and Hermit is fricking me lube-free. Doesn't help that the only unit with Wave Block that I have and that actually moves is Octopus, which can't really take more than two Waves anyway. All my Tank Cat variants fall instantly, Metal Cat gets knocked back after the second attack loop, is the only way I could possibly defeat him to just spam freezers and hope he gets permafrost?
I stopped after Hermits floor the last time and I was in the same position. The trick was to release a Manic Mohawk between his attacks to keep Hermit in place the whole round while your wave immune attackers like Dancer Cat and Musashi attack from a distance rather than using a wave blocker. You can use the pillars in the background as estimation, though you'll need to learn the timing. The difficult part is when the peons come out and mess the rhythm, or when you accidentally push too far and it becomes harder to time Manic Mohawk and Hermit pushes you in response. If you don't have any wave immune attackers then it might be too early for you to attempt the stage, the stage is piss easy once you have stuff like Golden Cat and Uberfests
After many attempts trying to get the timing right, I managed to whittle Hermit's health down to 60% (which is big for me since my previous record was 91%), but since I used the "keep him super close to the base so that his wave goes over the spawnpoint sooner" strat, him getting knocked back messed everything up.
Also the only wave immune unit I have that targets traitless is my Dark Iz, so a melee unit that doesn't even get to land a hit.

And I've lost it.
Yeah when I did it the last time I only had Dancer Cat (bad range) and Leotard Ranma (large blind spot) as wave immune units so it was a very annoying battle too. At least Dark Iz has a quick recharge time. All I can advise is to keep a second in reserve and don't get two out at the same time because they're going to push too hard and get themselves killed and you'll end up with no attackers. You'll always want to have just one in play at a time
I did it. I'm pretty sure I dropped more than five leaderships on this one stage, but I finally defeated Hermit.
My biggest mistake wasn't actually spawning more than one wave immune unit, but spawning Metal Cat at all - only after multiple blunders did I realize that the reason why Hermit sometimes sends out one wave and sometimes two was because there was actually someone to hit with the second one - namely Metal. And that really messed with my meatshield spawning rhythm.
Of course, the rest was ubercarry. My fresh new Phonoa and, surprisingly, Eyewaltz really helped.
But by next time I'll have enough Epicfest exclusives to clear the stage even faster.
Finally... Don't think I want to bother with Infernal Tower yet though
Good work. Yeah surge and wave enemies love Metal Cat and Zamboni because it gives them a reliable target to set off their attacks on your other units. If you can get Golden Cat's TF it really trivialises the meatshielding on that stage
I struggled through Floors 32 through 34, but surprisingly, Floor 35 was as easy as 31, cleared it with my usual ani-traitless team.
I can oly hope next stages won't kick my ass TOO much.

IIRC the way I first beat him was spamming meat shields and wave immune ubers.
the OG strategy for him before ranged wave blockers was to use manic lion as a meatshield since he can take two attacks, for example in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUqw62CE0SE. it was by no means easy though since you still have to contend with the peons giving him space to attack your backliners
if you happen to have rock cat I think he'd also work really well here

Similar to what that anon had as an idea, I've been toying with a potential slime cast true form that would simply add z-kill and soulstrike.
Z-kill is a straight upgrade of course, but soulstrike could be a good or bad thing depending on the situation.
Ideally, slime's true firm shouldn't give too much of a boost, so this is what I came up with.
Just give Slime 200 range and we're good
Haha, I did it, I beat Merciless XP. And totally by accident too, because I started it without catching which XP stage it was (must've thought it was the Megablitz), and only realized when the black Bore showed up. But I guess catseye-leveling my units paid off.
I also didn't know the stage was a single-clear one. Oh well, on Saturday I'll see if it was just a fluke or not.
I always found it easier than Colosseum since Bore runs up to you and you can easily take care of it quickly before the snipers become a problem. Colosseum throws multiple Bunbun while Nyandam and later Tackeys keep getting in your way
I remember when I had to see like a couple meatshield slowly kill a pack of those stupid fricks because they had stacked too much and where just un aproachable
Wasn't a fluke. Didn't go as smooth as last time, Tackeys decimated my ubers before I could deal with the second Razorback, but between Bombspam, Cat Jobs weakening everyone in sight, and Pizza and Gasmask going to work on the enemies, I managed to pull through until I could spawn my ubers again.
I won't say it's a gamechanger, but an extra 6M XP a week (at least) is a most welcome addition.

Daliasan isn't used for flying crowd control or even behemoth slayer necessarily, he's a fairly bulky long distance backliner/sniper with above average DPS that you bring in to deal with stuff like the anteater variations

Daliasan/hanzo would be your best shots, both are great vs floatings. If you're already satisfied with having lucifer as a longranger and need something without a blindspot to deal with fast units like lil bun bun, hanzo would probably be the pick.
Terun is a solid unit with a fast cooldown but personally I find daliasan to be more useful than her for farming most colossals since she dies really fast to most of them.

Yeah, but I don't have enough juice to get all the way there. And while it would be helpful in getting me to the first legend, the path between them is such a ridiculous mess of back-and-forths you would not believe it.
I will either need guaranteed ubers to switch tracks to the ones I want, drop plat tickets to sidestep the swaps I don't want, or another collab with limited Rares so that their order goes out of whack and the track swaps disappear in the first place.
But I'll have to stock up on my gold tickets and cf anyhow, so there's no hurry.

If you're still in early game then the low max energy is very annoying. You'll just have to play bit by bit and get more boosts by unlocking the RNG treasures and clearing the zombie outbreaks. Story of Legends and event stages are very pricey at that point in the game. Once you have >600 max energy then you won't really feel limited anymore and you'll probably be sitting on a bunch of Leaderships at that point
It's a "play while on the shitter for 20 minutes, for the rest of your life" kind of game, you end up swimming in leadership (energy reflls) if you play long enough

Ah, so the total of units I need just went from 134 to 164. And I got about 30 more units since I last celebrated only having to get another hundred, so now I can celebrate it again.
It gets better, now that I've reached this point: Class Rep Cat is actually the only one of the batch that DOESN'T go up to +40. Probably will get the additional 10 levels next year.
Now if only I didn't get four of him on the very next ten-roll after I got him to 1+30. Eh, free NP at least.

It ruffles my feathers a little bit to see Hades rank relatively low on many tier lists. I think he's exceptional. My generalist teams usually involve the blue-eyed freaks + him, and he single-handedly turns a ton of boss stages throughout the game into a joke.
Yeah I really like him too. He stands out from the many generic backliners and fast recharge close to mid range generalist units that die too fast or have too many knock backs to properly tank. What I like most actually is his rapid attack rate and high DPS. Everyone brings it up as a detriment since it's low damage per hit and keeps knocking back shit like Brollows, but so many tank units like Cat Machine and Kai have such long attack animations and TBA they tend to miss more often than not

depends on how much you make use of him. if you use him a lot, then yeah, it's a good investment. personally, I haven't used him a whole lot after getting dkasli
I noticed a single point in strengthen boost is a straight 23% attack increase so I just dropped a point on both Ganesha and Maeda Keiji in the meantime. I also have Dasli yeah so I feel like Ganesha might be a bit redundant

He's pretty essential for cyberstacking but nobody really uses it outside of that since it's so slow and doesn't actually do any damage. You'll get another chance someday if you think it's too many tickets to get to him right now

He dies too easily on me. The short recharge time for an uber doesn't really make up for that. It is almost like having a luga that exchanged its long range for power.
Then learn to use him for that purpose. He's kinda not meant to be an all-conquering unit. But he has his uses and the combo. Came in clutch 3-crown Cat Catharsis.

Either way I'd be getting a dupe Lucifer from 20B. Hilariously, there are three ubers on the B-track within he first 35 steps and they're all Lucifer.

I'd try to focus on getting chronos (and maybe ganesha as well if you need a good lr generalist). she's like a mini-mitama who also synergizes really well with the actual mitama since they won't overwrite each other's debuffs. her tf also doesn't improve her by a lot, so you won't be missing out on much.
Now that the Fate banner info has released, should I pick Ganesha after all, or wait a few days and pick Rider? I DID just pick Chronos as far as freezing units are concerned, but Rider looks much better when it comes to the Angel niche.
Also I won't have any more Ubers for the next 40 pulls, and even then I'd have to change tracks.
Rider has been pretty useful for me when I needed her, but I think she's pretty fragile.
Id go Vigler, switch banners then pull Chronos, then pull for Ganesha. while being a seasonal limited, lovestruck lesser demon is inferior to the regular version even with the RNG debuffs.

No. Metal Seal is just bullshit. The stage you're on probably has him at a high multi too, like 100% or more.
In his debut stage, Dead Falls, he has 22k HP. A level 30 Curry is only doing 6800 on a crit. A level 30 hurricat is only doing 1020. You're going to generally want something that hits heavier or strong support to deal with Metal Seals. Like Luffy/Paladin or Sakura Sonic.
Metal Seal was my downfall on the first few attempts at Proving Grounds highest difficulty since he'd just tank everything and slowly mow it's way too the base

No one cares about freezing reds or blacks anymore so his other traits are a bonus, but a level 3 wave + 50% shield pierce means you could get all shields wiped off every ~21 seconds on average. 50% freeze as well but >cc'ing aku. Just beware of his long foreswing.

Finally cleared Crazed Moneko. Since we've just been talking about Metal Seal and Corrupted Moneko has a 100% Crit, is she useful against it by herself? Or only really as a part of a combo with Regular Moneko?
Yeah if you protect her ofc she can get an attack off but she's really only gonna land 1 decent crit and then die pretty fast. And I have no idea what those guys were trying to do by downplaying nanaho she worked out just fine (frick you 390% sms).
Crazed Moneko is a very important anti metal unit, mainly just because of the crit up combo with Moneko. CM herself is okay, she's so cheap youre gonna be deploying her on metal stages because why not but she's useful for farming the inevitable metal doge waves that every metal stage starts with. Aside from that, her usefulness is shaky.
If you want to obliterate metal seals, get waitress cat

I have been playing for exactly 1 year and you'd be surprised at how catfood can build up over time by playing. I think I made like around 25k catfood for free during my time playing and without any ad watching (Except the few times I did it at the start before realizing how awful it is).
That said it is incredibly important that you use your catfood well by seed tracking if you're F2P. 25k catfood was enough to basically get me all the most important units to the point where I don't really care about the gacha much anymore because anything I roll just feels weaker than what I have already since I just sniped the best units.
Also don't forget that cat tickets basically convert into rare tickets, so do your cat ticket stages and you'll find yourself with a lot of extra rare tickets. If you're too early in the game to convert tickets just know that once you hit the point where you can you'll suddenly feel like you're getting a lot more free rolls.
I mean, there's always new units and the associated power creep that comes with that to look forward to. So it's not entirely always going to remain boring as updates come through.

Lucifer has surge at 550 standing range IIRC so he should be at least decent
Hades is pretty good from my experience. Plenty of health, low knock back and decent range to survive a long time and very consistent attack pattern with decent DPS. Might not be something you'd want to put against close range DPS stuff like Bore or Capy but it's good for tanking high range enemies like Camelle
lucifer is similar to aphrodite but with more relevance in the endgame due to aku typing and surge immune.
hades is really hampered by his long cooldown but he still comes in handy on stages that restrict unit count, or when you need a tank who doesn't care about traited/untraited/curse.
Lucifer is definitely incredibly good against Aku now because of his TF and his recent new combo with cactus cat giving a strong up combo which is a no brainer vs Aku. He also has surge immunity which is really helpful since late game Uncanny Legend stages spam the frick out of surges.
That said Lucifer isn't really that great as a generalist mostly because he has a horribly ginormous blind spot. If you want a generalist you should look for Aphrodite (Or Phono potentially) instead.

I'm in early to mid UL and swimming in bricks too, but for some reason Sprockets which are also an early game resource are always in low reserves on my account
As if to reinforce my point, I just got more Sprockets from Jinfore 3, which is the highest I can farm at my level, and then a set of Beast Bones from Gamatoto's Bag of Shit.
So as I've mentioned, I farm Jinfore 3 - partially because it's the highest one I'm confident about, but also because early on I got two Yellow stones out of it within a week. But at this point I don't even remember how long it's been and I've barely gotten any stones out of it ever since, and none yellow ones. So should I just bite the bullet and use two Treasure Radars? I assume once I trueform Kanna she'll turn Darkjos into a joke?
Oh, I just realized the math doesn't add up, so - just two Radars because I also have another Yellow stone from somewhere else, probably something one time guaranteed.
Okay, I used a TR and still only got a Green stone, so that's not gonna work out.
I get all my yellow stones through enigma maps, it's not too bad if you have units that can get into behemoth owlbrow's blindspot. as for kanna, she does pretty good against darkjo but she doesn't demolish them as quickly as you would expect since they're surge immune.
Still making my way through SoL, I'm not even getting Blue or Green yet (although I'm close to getting my fourth Legendary unit). I guess I just keep doing what I've been doing in the meantime.
It's me again, I cleared Two Shadows the other day and today I tried clearing Jinfore 5. After five tries I managed to beat Darkjo after he went to town on my base, only for the random still alive Owlbrow to do one final hit. And this was the last try before time ran out on the stage, so I can't even rework my team qnd try again.
Cleared it. Needed Sniper and Rich Cat to do it, hopefully in the future I'll get to the point where I don't.
And after like two Leaderships I defeated two crown Gilgamesh stage. I know it's just another 50%, but I don't think I'll even try 3-crown, there's no RNG in the world that'll let me defeat a 250% Metal Seal.
By comparison, Jinfore 6 was a cakewalk, I didn't even need to use Rich Cat. AND I got a Yellow Stone, finally. One more and I finally TF Kanna.
After about a week of clearing it with little to no problem, I started failing on my first try every day. I really don't like it, and other than one time when I clearly spawned the wrong Uber first, I can't really put my finger on what the problem is.

Their rarity is fairly comparable, but I'd say Fate wins out simply cause you don't know when they'll never be available.
My user level is nearing 12000 and I have used archer about four times. I can see his benefits but I never really needed him because I boosted the shit out of camerman so early.

Looking on paper, I'd take Archer over Rin any day of the week. Archer has a long ass range which gives him a sniper niche with Wave Immunity tacked on, but Rin has a horrid niche of KB'ing Alien and Zombies. Don't have either though, so I can't speak from experience.
archer's a wave immune aphro clone, rin is your average unremarkable backliner. objectively speaking archer is way more useful, but if you have other units like dark kasli or phono, you'll probably forget about his existence entirely outside of labyrinth/legend quest/etc.

Finally got it right on the third try (somewhat, I had to stall out until my Ubers started recharging), but I still dropped 1500 energy and three Cat Jobs to get little over 1.5M XP. I could've ran the basic XP stage and would've gotten slightly more.
Yeah merciless is funny like that. I can beat it very consistently but sometimes it just fricks with you to the point that you start wondering if they've done a stealth rebalance. But they havent. You are likely just out of your groove.

Why? I had this. Went a week clearing it no problem, once I even fricked something up and I still recovered, but now it's like a switch went up. I don't mind the energy, I've got leaderships for days, but it's a waste of Cat Jobs even if I can farm them every Wednesday.
If this keeps happening, Merciless turns from the stage with the highest bang for your buck to the lowest. So maybe it's time to drop it until my next big leap forward.
Eventually when you unlock Bonanza and you reach the point where you have enough anti Akus to handle it it's actually easier than Merciless and gives you about 4mil Exp a pop
if it's not a "no continues" stage, just force close the game if it looks like you're going to lose.

What traits have been powercrept the most?
Aliens have an entire non-special banner dedicated to killing them and every new unit released gives you a new method of potentially dealing with Aliens, sometimes alongside something else.
Well Red's the obvious one. Every red nowadays has to be specifically made in a way that courier cat doesnt just hard counter them, usually by making it really fricking annoying to approach them.
Red still has some enemies you actually gotta watch out for, but Black's kinda been left on the wayside lately. Only Tackey(even after so many years) really is still a threat from that trait
I feel bad for black, I have about 20 different ways to nuke them from here to next week. Any new blacks should be freeze immune. Now that I'm saying this, I'm realising I don't really want to potentially deal with a freeze proof black prof.a, r.ost or cappy in future, so maybe don't do that please ponos.
Kanna is by far my favorite way to deal with Blacks just cause of how satisfying her multi-her is.
I think all Black Behemoths already are freeze-immune because of Bombercat.

Too bad about only getting one Easter Uber, but oh well. Only twelve more months until their next banner.

Major Leaguer's actual attack range (425-650) extends beyond his standing range (275), so if the first thing he meets is an UltraBaaBaa, he won't be able to hit it.

the trick is to rush gilgamesh with a strong anti traitless rusher - I used iz of grief + talented yuki (though bahamut can prolly work too) until the max talent and then the rest of the units are easy to stall since none of them can one shot lvl 50 m eraser
Kinda want Lancer just for an extra Fate unit but he's so painfully generic and I already have Ryu/Kage who's pretty much his equivalent as a 480 range generic collab unit. I should just get Rabbit Satoru since he's a little more interesting

there aren't that many stages out yet, and all of them seem to have the same drop rates, so it's kind of moot. just going down the list it looks like Protons, Neutrons, and Morons is the best overall since it costs the least out of the ones available (albeit only by 10 energy) and isn't too difficult. when zl3 comes out, it'll have another stage with the same energy cost but better rates for bricks/feathers/meteorites, so maybe that could be an alternative.

A strong, anti traitless dps with decent range and LD is a very good niche to have.
Just right off the bat, I can see him being a strong check to Bore jr, Wild Doge and R ost. All very strong and dangerous pushers. The wave immunity is just the cherry on top.

Long range blind spot on surge units and Courier certainly don't help
Being the only uber with behemoth slayer so far is a pretty strong niche to have. Until you get the tf of uncanny legends she'll really be your only choice against behemoths.

I'm slowly going through SoL, reached Beverly Hills Scoop (battle-cats.fandom.com/wiki/Beverly_Hills_Scoop) and took it on with my usual anti-Normal team with the addition of Pizza Cat for the Tackeys. And I guess I should've planned it out better, because that was NOT the correct strategy. But, thankfully, I dropped the first R.Ost and managed to push the Tackeys away from my base while it only had 6000HP left.
But when the time comes to do 2-crowns and higher, I'll have to figure out something else.
If all you need to do is get in some Tackey blind spots, it's probably Bahamut or Yukimura.
Finally, time to pull Saber with guaranteed ubers

Honestly I don't remember manic fish being terribly difficult. I do remember struggling a bit with li'l island however
I wouldn't say I liked it, but I think I first cleared it as a catamin stage and then, when my energy regenerated enough, I took on the regular version to get that extra 30 cf, because after figuring out the trick to it, it wasn't that bad. Also my anti-reds are pretty stacked.
But since I don't have any good ranged anti-traitless (I don't count Ururun because I said "good"), I had to rely on Cyborg/Haniwa spam to take care of the Islands, and pure luck to know when to start spawning my anti-Reds and Octopuses to make sure they would be useful against Berserkory and not die uselessly.
Fricking finally I got it. I don't even want to know how many tries it took. I just might refuse to use the unit on principle.

she's a good choice, but I personally fill my slots with as many tanky/cc anti-floatings as I can instead because massive damage isn't going to help much if mecha-bun just smashes right through all your collab trash.

I was in a similar position - had two Legends close by, but I needed a guaranteed uber banner and/or a collab with limited Rare Cats to get them. So I could either get as many Fate units as possible or don't pull for like another month so I could get my hands on the Legends.
Now my next Legend spot is 119 steps away, and after that I literally have only one in the span of a 1000 steps (second at 448 away from the first one and the third one at 555 away from the second, after that it's sort of normal), but I figure I'll get to them before the next Fate collab. We've also had the Street Fighter collab not so long ago, so unless they drop a Bikkuriman banner when I'm still in the middle of my Legend dry spell, I figure I'm covered.
Someone give me some lineups for the Idi fight. I'm tired as frick and can't think right now.

Proving Grounds keeps giving me 2 measly uber rare cateyes everytime while Gamatoto finds me just one every 4 days
I only do the middle Proving Grounds for the EXP drops.
I stopped doing that after unlocking Exp Bonanza which gives about 4m exp with treasure radar. Cateyes are harder to farm at this point

So now I wonder, is there a database where I can filter Cats by what catfruit they need for TF? Or do I have to figure out a way to get a list of all the pages on the wiki that use a particular image?
I finally got to clear the first Bonanza stage. Surprisingly easy, I didn't even get to spawn one of the anti-Aku ubers until way late, but at least now I know who I can safely replace with Cat Jobs for extra xp.
If you make sure to do the Bonanza + Merciless every time they're available you won't have anymore Exp issues and you can start going for the cateye proving ground stage instead of the exp one. I'm sitting on 40m+ exp now

Been doing them since hitting UL and unlocking the level cap. Failed a few times early on but you still get 2 random cateyes on the stages you beat anyway so it's not too bad. The 5th stages are somewhat tough due to the generalist loadout you have to use, with one being a metal stage featuring a buffed metal seal supported by a Cli-One and the other being a black stage with zombies burrowing so the black enemies can kill your frontline
I'll change my previous question: I know there's a list of priority TFs when it comes to rare fruit, are Aku Fruits on there as well? Could someone please post it?
there's this image, but I think it's way out of date. personally, I'd put lilin/yamii/lucifer/satoru/hevijak as top choices above fiend/mad duck. lilin/satoru destroy akus, yamii is the best uber wave blocker, lucifer gets a solid dps boost, and hevijak just becomes better overall. not sure if there have been any other notable ones that use aku fruits, but that's all that comes to my mind
Another thing to note is that Li'l Mohawk will be getting wave immune via talents, so there's no reason to get Gold Cat's true form anymore.

Especially since I'm yet to unlock Growing Epic and I'm still too low on XP to try and get more Gold Catfruits, so she's really the only out of the five units on thatvlist I have that I actually CAN TF. But at least I know how many I should go for. 17 Fruit and 4 seeds, plus whatever might come next.

I have nine less units than you. Ive been getting ass raped by RNG after some stages where I lose 5-7 units but with no rescues available. currently on floor 57 with 219 units remaining.
Just want to add my two cents, but Nymph cat is greatly overrated in this list because it's a super rare. In reality Nymph isn't very good because her massive blind spot gets her destroyed by Aku Gory, the knockback isn't very useful (Despite being called a "Good anti-aku CC), and she can't handle the actually difficult Akus like Fallen bear.
Gold cat is significantly better than you'd think, as a 75 cost meatshield with a fast cooldown is a god send in any wave stage and can trivialize them IF you have lots of wave immune ubers. Basically it gets better the better your uber pool is. Even if Li'l macho gets wave immunity gold cat will still be good just because of its faster cooldown.
Mighty Deth-Troy is also severely underrated in this list because it gets access to one of the best attack up combos in the game. The actual unit isn't exceptional but the attack up is excellent.

I spent most of them during the last Epicfest. Again I'm a noob so I only had about 20 stocked up as opposed to the other anons in this thread and I only have 2 left.
I got Poseidon and Windy so I considered it to be worth it since I still need to beat zombie outbreaks and am always grinding straight of wings.

It all depends on what units you have, really. If one were lucky with one's gacha pulls, one'd probably be able to clear it with even lower UR.
Meanwhile, I cleared Manic Tank (and Manic Cat yesterday). Got pushed away from the enemy base by the second volley of Gories, but I deleted them and had to chip away at Eraser's 4.8M HP, but it actually took less time than I expected. First try, too.

While I'd like them to add new generic gacha rare and super rare units which have been the same for a while, they're basically doing that via free advent and egg units
And free units have the added benefit of making "Gachaless" runs more viable.
The Brainwashed cats are gacha Super Rares that have been added fairly recently, weren't they?
Which makes me wonder: if they were to release a new gacha batch, would you rather it was some random ideas, or should they follow a theme, like Brainwashed or the Mining Corps?
Also I feel the need to point out that just like with limited collabs, a new gacha rare would require changing the track to accommodate, meaning track swaps would move as well, invalidating any and all long-term planning.

sorta, he easily kills them but the problem is that they almost always appear with other enemies to stand in front. you usually have to rely on hoping that you can sneak him in when there's a hole in the front lines.
I sure wish I had infinite NP. Max talented units are just an entirely different experience. And I have only done Jurassic cat and Dark Lazer (minus the status resist talent) so far.
I would personally recommend cameraman next. Even at level 50 i didn't think much of him until I had him talented. Now hes a beast.
I think Sanzo's target angel, Cyberpunk's slow, and Cancan's money up and speed up are really great to have. There's other good ones but those are probably the most important.
Disagree. I wish I had unlimited catseyes so I can get everything to the max non-plus levels. These units get the job done and still manage to be very usable without being downright overpowered (because if you need that, just use dasli lol) and so it keeps the game fun. NP is really just for the necessary talents, I've found so far, so it doesn't ruin my experience personally.

I don't blame them. Making something that requires you to either hyper roll for bonus units or slog through the pit of 100 trials actually useful would be demoralizing. But at the same time, if they ever make Dark eyes more available and make Super talents better, the ones getting shafted now will forever be meh.

With the rate they are releasing these egg units they really just need to make a weekly buffet or proving grounds style stage for cubes instead, I was on top of it at first but its getting really fricking hard to keep up now.

Can someone explain talent orbs to me like I'm a moron? I fully understand atk and def orbs, but how do the other orbs work? Eg: massive damage etc? Do the units you give them to have to corresponding skill to get the multiplier or do they just work? eg: if I give Cyborg an s-rank red massive orb, does she get a small red multiplier or is it just wasted? By the same token do resist orbs work for a non resist unit or do you just stick with def orbs?

Came back to the game recently, is Jizo still as overpowered as he used to be now that there are so many anti-blacks? I have got a weightlifter already and was planning to go for Kai in 2 slots, since these two are the only good ubers in the next few banners. The 3rd option would be D'arktanyan according to older data but epicfest isn't coming back before the update and the new uber will probably shift the order. Which option do I go for?

He's not really as good in the current state of the game but he's still pretty good. Pizza cat is a much better investment as an anti-black though and courier is better as a general mid-range rusher unit, even though he's not as stackable.
So is the best way to get colored behemoth stones still just spamming Hunter's Map 3?
