It's so meaningless, you can meme hard, I'd recommend a Rhodesian run with Norse adventures reforming catholicism into based protestantism. Frick the pop amirigth?
It isn't hard to invade Russia in CK games, so I don't see why you think harvesting Chud tears is of importance, like wow you beat some finngolians, so impressive..
Some rich guy lived there at some point.
You're isolated from the rest of the world.
You don't have to worry about historical accuracy because literally no-one knows what happened down there and most of the places and culture are made up.
I have played multiple times here, the experience is always the same. >start as a count >while conquering others your capital gets raided >blob so fast you can form an empire within a generation >quit, because game you are so powerful
I really dislike how prestige and faith are basically mana in CK3. It makes wars dumb because you spend prestige to fight them, so wars actually hurt your prestige rather than help it.
Map painters are better served by quantity than quality, I want to play more games with less investment per save than to stick with one raggedy dynasty of French Catholics for 100 hours.
Adding culture hybrids and splits was the right call, compared to wasting time making unique events for like 3-4 cultures tops. I don't really understand why people want a history book inserted with every DLC
EU4 doesn't have a dynasty tree or character interactions

But you just want to map paint without investing into your dynasty though?

I don't want to have to struggle to conquer or spend 100 hours trying to carve out my ideal realm. I want to build families and mix cultures across borders then start in some other places and try again, changing history instead of breaking my mouse trying to just relive it. I want to form nations that didn't actually exist and spread cultures in directions that didn't actually happen and I want to see the families and names and combinations of the faiths and ethnicities that emerge from it.
I do not want to micromanage combat or spend hours clicking through events. I barely read any of them. I want to play god with cultural and religious spread. Maybe there's no such game that exists like that right now but CK3 is the closest to that, CK2 as it stands is far too close to an actual game for me to enjoy because I don't enjoy the actual challenge of Paradox games or outthinking the AI.

Yeah, I hope they listen to people like you more, that way PDX's death will be swift instead of long and painful.

I want to play a game where I control races, not empires. The actual ethnic group and their evolution. CK3 is the closest I can get to it. Paradox should stick to that idea. I don't want to play through challenges of the ruler. If I wanted that I would play CK2. Do you get it yet?

Why not just toggle debug mode on and jump from country to country merging cultures?
>stick with one raggedy dynasty of French Catholics for 100 hours.
This is the most fun way to play the game, though. Watching your dynasties grow powerful and build massive realms is kino.
Doubly so if you don't properly manage it all, and your empire starts collapsing as your cadet branches become ambitious and crave independence.
>playing a game as kushites trying to take egypt in 867 start >tulunids immediately annexed by abbasids >civil war happens and i nab the rest of Nubia from them >decide to expand into africa while waiting for another one or a crusade >it never fricking happens
stuff like this reminds me why I dislike the fervor system
Frick you and your stupid fricking "better than Ganker" ambitions you pseudointellectual Black personhomosexual go eat shit and suck wiener and get fricked up the fricking shitter. /vst/ is filled to the brim with shiteating mongrels like you who think you're smarter than your neighbor because you play moronic old games that barely work, I hope this board quality goes to shit and more posts like this flood in so you have nowhere to go and have a nice day immediately. Fricking homosexual go frick your fricking father. moron
What's so good about this region?
Semi blank slate, it's not that different from Eastern Europe or steppes
It's so meaningless, you can meme hard, I'd recommend a Rhodesian run with Norse adventures reforming catholicism into based protestantism. Frick the pop amirigth?
>based protestantism
Umm...no, sweaty.
Americans ruin everything. News at 11.
You don't have to ruin Protestantism, it does that to itself on its own.
Famous supporter of bigamy Martin Luther was an American? I guess he really is the first Mormon
He said protestantism, not amerigroidanism
The only reason this grifter hated Joos was because they represented competition to his own Golden Calf cult.
What makes Africa meaningless and Europe have meaning you fricking chud
>Rhodesian
>Norse
invading europe and harvesting chud tears
It isn't hard to invade Russia in CK games, so I don't see why you think harvesting Chud tears is of importance, like wow you beat some finngolians, so impressive..
>implying any reason to acknowledge Russian existence
The chuds were a real people in modern day Russia, so you kinda have to if you want to get through to the chuds.
Some rich guy lived there at some point.
You're isolated from the rest of the world.
You don't have to worry about historical accuracy because literally no-one knows what happened down there and most of the places and culture are made up.
I imagine the desert pathways make a fine middleground between the northern sultanates and the southern expanding tribes
The desert is the worst part about this region, wtf are you talking about
You can form Yorubaland, travel up the coast and take the crown of England and make england BLACC
I have played multiple times here, the experience is always the same.
>start as a count
>while conquering others your capital gets raided
>blob so fast you can form an empire within a generation
>quit, because game you are so powerful
Pic unrelated, I guess, since that's not India.
The game gives you a massive hurdle to access normal mechanics because of some prestige-faith deal. Basically unplayable.
Isn’t it easier since you can stop being tribal without needing to reform your crazy made up paganism?
Again, unplayable. I only picked up CK3 to play in West Africa.
I really dislike how prestige and faith are basically mana in CK3. It makes wars dumb because you spend prestige to fight them, so wars actually hurt your prestige rather than help it.
Ashanti > Benin > the rest
first ck3 game I started as Kong and reformed the roman empire
I always start as an Anglo-Saxon in Eweland and make the hybrid culture of Ewelish with them.
eweland is clearly welsh territory
this region is so worthless and boring it is the same in both startdates
you need a lot more than BBC to make a good region
>he doesn't play ck2
CK2 is overly eurocentric and punishing.
Extending your map with bland und unflavourful tags doesnt make your game less "eurocentric".
CK is not a map painter, moron, stick to Mana 4, there's a non-eurocentric game for ya.
EU4 doesn't have a dynasty tree or character interactions

It's literally what Crusader Kings was built for.
You do you then. But I'm throwing money at Paradox every single opportunity they take to turn away from making that game.
>I'm throwing money at Paradox
Talk about a self-own
>he doesn't change culture every century
how is ck2 punishing?
in the case of ck3 it does because they made europe just as bland as africa and asia
I don't know about the other anon but I do know I was able to have fun with CK3 vanilla whereas with CK2 I had to cheat and use commands to enjoy it
>playing a game as kushites trying to take egypt in 867 start
>tulunids immediately annexed by abbasids
>civil war happens and i nab the rest of Nubia from them
