>he played a human in BG3
Are you really that boring to play a regular human... in a FANTASY game with a gazillion races to pick from!?
>he played a human in BG3
Are you really that boring to play a regular human... in a FANTASY game with a gazillion races to pick from!?
Why do they have a black version for every race?
Those are just orcs
Lazy diversity instead of locking races irl to fantasy ones.
Based todd keeping the races pure
wanna bet your ass we are getting black nords in TES 6?
also they will give kajit and argonians niggy hairstyles as well
To not trigger the wokies. Normal people don't care.
don't ask antisemitic questions, chud
Probably mixed with black humans.
Can't most of the races in D&D cross breed?
The argument that
>humans are... le boring!
is a dumb argument. However, it is pretty pointless to play a human in BG3. They have absolute dogshit racial bonuses.
>one wildcard proficiency isn't terrible, but isn't great either
>increased carrying capacity is a joke, especially since it's percentage based so it's only a significant bonus on characters that can already carry a ton
>weapon/armor proficiency racial features are pretty meh in general
It's just absolutely nothing compared to all of the other races.
>horc: stronger crits, cheat death once per long rest, darkvision
>elves, tieflings, gith: free spells and skill proficiencies out the wazoo
>dwarves: damage/status resistance and extra hp per level
>halflings: reroll bad checks and advantage on stealth
BG3 was made by people who love playing tabaxi and tieflings at tables and hate people who play humans at the table. It's pretty obvious.
I didn't notice until you pointed it out, but you're definitely right.
You can honestly feel the Tabaxi player dripping off half of the main characters. So much of the "humor" is quintessential Tabaxi player.
so why isn't tabaxi in the game genius, if they are such big fans of it
If Tabaxi were in the game people would be creaming themselves because not only are they furbait, they're kind of broken, particularly as any class that gets increased movement. It's kind of refreshing to be stuck with mostly just the basics.
>to have Karlach carry that weight
Are you saying you picked human because you wanted to carry more and then didn't play a STR based class?
You mean the ability score bonuses? Those existed in early access builds of the game, it was only the final release that changed where your bonuses changed to being determined by your class. My guess is that's something WoTC bugged Larian about during development, because they wanted BG3 to be more in line with later 5e stuff. You can tell how old a race description is by if the stat increases are static or instead say "Put a +2 and a +1 wherever because we don't even wanna put in the effort to decide it anymore."
I'll admit I was wrong about the shields, but I'm also a fa/tg/uy and forgot that casting with a shield in your hand is something you can do by default in BG3.
I'm saying it matters because the dedicated STR character in my party was not even especially useful for carrying heavy loads.
Maybe if I had made her a monk or something while I played the barbarian, the heavy object carrying might've been viable, but I was the party CHAd, so that simply did not happen.
I'm also saying putting items in your camp is moronic and the only thing I could safely send was food because the game did not make me find the food in the megachest later to eat it. Everything else was just lost in that tiny piece of shit grid menu.
Didn't they outright make a post about how disappointed they were that humans was the most picked race? Something along the lines of "We put so much work into these other races, you should give them a try."
People lack imagination.
Humans and elves will always be the most played races in games like this.
However, it was cool to see Dragonborn as the 3rd more picked race.
Yet they didn't add tabaxi.
I'm disappointed, because I wanted to play as one in the game.
dont care, playing human
Mmmm yeah.... still gonna play lawful good human paladin.
Megabased. He was one of my go tos in BG1, still mad they killed him unceremoniously in 2
Him
Not adapting the variant human rules was a mistake. Carry weight literally doesn't matter when you can teleport to your campsite and stuff shit into a box at any time, you're generally not going to be using weapons outside of the main good shit for your given class (and even then fighter/barbarian/ranger/paladin can use any weapon anyway) Human was made objectively worse than every other option, and it pisses me off.
It matters because if I am hitting send to camp, I will never look at that item ever again.
The inventory menus are just that bad that I am unwilling to sift through a singular chest with hundreds of random junk items tossed in.
Therefore the only way to deploy barrels was to have Karlach carry that weight, which was still not enough to meaningfully change the battle anyway, so I went back to throwing people instead of barrels.
Why did Larian get rid of racial bonuses in BG3? Was implying some races fo certain things better than others too chuddy for them?
Except the game isn't hard. So playing without the bonuses makes no difference. You could beat the game as a solo human
All the races besides dragon look like humans with some minor superficial differences to it doesn't really matter
Meanwhile, WOTR humans have an extra feat.
>They have absolute dogshit racial bonuses.
Humans have probably the best racial bonuses. Did you even play the game?
Human, male, barbarian, yes
>Download VH Mod
>Enjoy free feat while also looking the best
I'm playing a Wu Xia monk now with a katana and it's pretty fun. I made Wyll a Gunslinger because I feel like Warlock just sucks unless you only EB spam.
>be me
>never played dnd based game
>pick up bg4
>fapped to drows before, choose them
>mfw interacting with non-drows
when are you from?
I like my own race. Browns might not know this feeling.
i only play as a dragon girl
>scalies, gays, furries and coomers get something
>I dont get a skelly or walking tree
reeeeeee
I played a drow because I wanted to be a sorceror and I liked their bonuses.
>he played BG3
Yikes
>morons whining about hoomans again
They're literally the best race in the game for any caster thanks to shield and light armor proficiency.
Lawful good martial humantards are the most b***hy and insufferable D&D players in existence.
No. I played a big muscular evil paladin drow lady who killed everyone
i played as a dragonborn sorc on my first playthrough because durge, I just changed his color bc I didn't like the albino look
did drow the second time bc it looked nice with the edgelord stuff I was planning on wearing and he was a minmaxed damage gay rogue/ranger
There's nothing wrong with playing as a normal human.
Just like how there is nothing wrong with eating a steak that is only seasoned with salt and pepper.
Finally, a good food analogy
>Play Human Fighter
>Bang all the Non-human Women
Everytime.
(in his schizo fantasy)
Can we get a D&D game without Black folk for once
>black
>human
no, science says otherwise
>Are you really that boring to play a regular human..
Yes.
>humans are boring
>orcs are most of the time boring beyond barbarian style game
>imagine playing as elves
>dwarves/gnomes/etc aren't very interesting
>only remaining option are the furries
It's so tiring.
>Humans
>be wizard
>take 1 level in fighter
>you are now a wizard in plate armor and with a shield
>it's that simple and it just works
5e is so supremely gay.
But what if I want to play a wizard but also want to have armor because I think it looks cool and that's how I imagine the character I'm roleplaying as? I should be able to do that
Personally I think goofy multiclasses are appealing, but part of this problem is on BG3 and not 5e itself. BG3 ignores a lot of the rules that would still cause problems for you trying to be an armored wizard in 5e.
imagine playing anything other than elves
Anything other than elves or dwarves makes me anxious because of their shorter lifespans
>not playing a superior experience to bg3
Absolutely no one not a chinese bot or tiktok-addled zoomie played BG3
Frick off troony
A human man that looked just like me and sexed Shadowheart. Ever playthrough.
those are not humans, those are Black folk
I played half-elf for the first playthrough because they have more movement and I thought it'd be important. Turns out it's not and everyone can eventually use teleport abilities.
For second playthrough I picked scalie because of their breath ability. Turns out it doesn't scale and is completely worthless past the first few fights where it's situationally useful.
The breath ability's only good use is to use the frost breath to cool Karlach down so you can kiss her early.
I actually played Dwarfs and Gnomes the most.
>holding off on being something cool in a fantasy world out of fear of being tangentially similar to trannies if you squint really hard
I feel so bad for Gankertards
I dont get it. Why is this topic getting so much attention?
I can understand all those joke post in a vein of >gigachad.jpg >human >male >warrior but thats just people having fun with their roleplay be that human supremacy, paladin on a quest for honor or alfa male slaying monsters and slaying monster pussy.
But why would anyone get mad over this or even write an article? There's a certain irony to such complaints about human players being boring because I never thought about these complainers as fun people.
I played a fat half-orc though and then put all my points into charisma so I could RP as the fat ugly bastard that gets all the girls in my animus.
>I played a fat half-orc though
There is no *fat body models* in BG3. All half-orcs are shredded.
I picked the biggest body size and gave him bulky heavy armor. The rest is imagination.
Literally what the frick is up with that wrinkled back and jagged abs?
Look at the Tieflings, Larian has a thing for granny skin.
>inserts as fat ugly bastard to "get all the b***hes"
>still gets cucked by halsin
once a cuck always a cuck
>he played a half-elf
Daring today aren't we?
You're not original for playing any race. It's HOW you play them that matters
Nice try OP.
They didn't want white male human to be the most popular character created. So they made default human a Black person.
It worked.
Not really. Human would've been one of the least picked races once the larget pool of people got to play the game since you have only regular humans and in base 5E D&D they suck ass. Larian made humans playable. Not that i expect a shitter like you to know that.
The Half-Orcs were always known as ugly.
BG3 is one of the few RPGs where your race matters other than combat stats. I played all the races in the game at least a bit.
Played as a human and also killed all knife eared freaks in my path.
>farming experience and being proud of it
Ah, the munchkin mentality. Let me guess your favorite game is Dark Souls 1?
for me, it's drow
At least post a drow.
I did
i went with a tiefling
Im going to play a fricking halfing and turn all the characters into pedos!
Halflings are just midgets with a LUCK STAT boost.
>human with long ears
This is like advanced bored.
I didnt play any of the races because I didnt buy the game.
So why are you in the thread?
Because I am into bear sex and have fapped to the Bear sex scene on youtube 20 times.
ya gotta love the bearfricker, ya gotta!
You forgot to post human characters.
Top: No mewing
Bottom: After mewing
>human
>male
>warrior
Yes.
Last DnD game I played I used a human cleric
Shit's surprisingly fun, I highly recommend it to everyone, all these buffs and smashing shit with your mace is top tier experience, especially once you come across a undead location and can clear the entire place without single rest
This is what i played in BG3. Human Cleric Domain of War.
>heavy armor cus cleric Domain of War
>polearms from being human
>all the cleric buffs
>extra attack form the War Domain
>extra carry capacity from human
>one skill of my choice from human
>Play fantasy human
>you can justifiably have any kind of personality, power or even look
>play fantasy orc
>you can only justifiably be a moron mouthbreathing warrior brute
>play fantasy elf
>you can only justifiably be a racial supremacist, noble & highborn being with high affinity for nature, animals and magic
>play fantasy demon
>you can only justiifably be morally evil or gray
>"dude are you really that boring to play a regular human?"
orc monk and orc warlock are great builds
moron
but are they justifiable?
is it in the nature of their race to become monks or warlocks, let alone civilized?
What is the average orc doing?
pretty much anything goes in faerun lore so yes
>niggs
>human
I started the game as a dragonborn since they had the only somewhat attractive females. But the game's writing and buggy mouse hover got me to uninstall after a few hours.
muscular human male tav with that one face that everybody uses and the right hair can be pretty handsome
all dnd races live in the same shitty mud filled city.
there is no point to any of it, let alone the stats/traits being homogenized too
>humans
I don't see any humans in that picture.
I wouldnt play human if the devs werent lazy and would actually put in some interesting races to play. All the playable races are just reskins of humans, give me some unique things to play as.
They already have Minotaurs why not let me play like one of those? Or a Centaur or a Drider(Which is also in the game).
Goblin wasn't allowed
Played a dragonborn first playthrough.
Playing as a half orc in my second.
why are they black?
I don't care for playing as one of 50 other human variants.
i know about the bestialy and homosexual sex, but is there something in this porn game for feetKINGS?
