You neglected to mention that they've been hyping this shit up for YEARS and releasing trailer after trailer that were all completely fake.
The saddest part about all this is that people actually paid money for this shit on Steam.
That's common sense for most big platforms dealing with money. Timegating financial operations help dealing with scams tremendously. Not entirely removing them, 9f course, but very helpful.
They had no regular devs. Every single person there was an unpaid "volunteer".
>What? How? Source?
It was on their own website, but their site is now changed after this fiasco to just display the "we're shutting down" message. They were selling their """employees""" on the idea that this game would do blockbuster numbers and they would then get paid eventually.
You can just google "Fntastic volunteers" and find shit about it. Here's one for example - https://www.nme.com/news/gaming-news/the-day-before-developer-defends-use-of-unpaid-volunteers-3258652

steam is usually pretty hands off, and typically doesn't offer refunds if you have >2h playtime
this studio has also released and immediately abandoned multiple broken games prior to this one.
they likely assumed this time would be no different and they would get away with it again.
Open-world Zombie multiplayer game concept is one hell of a drug for normies. It's been that way since 2012 with DayZ, The WarZ, H1Z1, 7 Days to Die, etc. Surprised no major studio didn't bother to take a hard look at it except for State of Decay.

Hey you stupid moron, the devs have done this exact same thing with their previous 4-5 other games.
you seriously implying these games are scams lel? idk man they look pretty indie to me. perhaps maybe they were too ambitious and made a shit game? no it has to be russian scam ofc.

Just stop, you are a fricking moron. I could go into how they advertised and marketed like 50 different features that aren't in the game. Namely how it was meant to be an open world MMO survival game, but then ended up being a fricking 30 player lobby extraction game with zero survival elements other than hunger/thirst.

If this was actually the case, and they had good intentions, then they could have just said so and most people would probably understand it. But they never said a word. In fact, even like 1 week before release they will still hyping the game up and making it seem like it was going to be everything they had promised.

this just sounds like every early access game ever tbh, it's the risk you run with these types of games and most people know this. again why are you pretending like this is a new thing, like it's only ever happened with this one game? are you knew to the gaymen industry? where is the same hoopla for star citizen or tarkov or other early access hell games? Or, are you this mad because you are the actual moron and you bought into it and got burned? couldn't be me.

why are you pretending like it IS a common occurrence? provide me ONE other example where a company underdelivered and then shut down the same week, offering no refunds to people. Yeah sure plenty of shitty games come out in EA, but most of them will continue to update/support the game the best they can, or they will be upfront with what the game is missing. No, I didn't buy it, I just think its a scummy situation, and you trying to downplay it like it's "common" is just as scummy.

Nice try, Eduard. Nobody is falling for your blatant bullshittery.
Theyre finished games though, not abandoned?
Radiant One is a single player "art" game where you wander around, it costs 1 dollar.
Wild Eight is every single coop "survival" crafting game.
Propnight is a standalone version of dozens of different mods that have been in dozens of different games with a fairly simple premise and defined feature set.
Like what more are they expected to do for these games when theyre finished, playable, working games?
The idea that every single game has to be developed for literally forever or its "abandoned" is what makes gaming so cancerous now. I'd rather have finished games than games that are constantly changing every fricking time I want to go play them, adding and removing shit for no reason other than to keep morons happy.
>build hype for game over couple years >promise content >release unfinished early alpha as Early Access to rake in $$$ >literally disband the entire project the next day
why take peoples money if they knew what they had was shit? they should have just canned it in silence but no they had to release to storm up controversy to bring more sales to a dead project that will linger on Steam
It seems like every month there is a new "WORST GAME OF 2023" and it's the same story every time. Unity/Unreal trash, either open world or action rpg, and was clearly just rushed and unfinished. These games were never going to be good, but this is like getting mad at half of a mediocre painting.
But, of course, what's the difference between Gollum and something like Destiny slop by that standard? In my mind nothing.
>and full of scam
Just like Zoe Quinn when she promised that Chuck Tingle game and she ran off with the money. Last I heard she's wasting money on making 3D swords and flight trips to conventions.
Black person this isn't the first they pulled something like this.
This is the first time where the game was big enough for the normies to take notice.
>another woke game trashed
Nice. Maybe now even if its only a single dev, they will learn to make a character first, before making a character based on their skin color.
Sir this is not a good attitude towards us, this will be repoeted and I offer 15 thousands rupee sir, I will kill this bloody benchod russian sir, again in the name of visnu I will kill this sir
Honestly this will be another Cyberpunk 2077 case where Sony pulled the game from the store and refunded everything.
Not sure how anyone thinks they can get away with scamming people, especially on Steam where they're extremely lenient on refunds. Steam will absolutely give anyone that wants a refund back no matter the amount of hours played after Fntastic pulled this shit.

No, it's like israelites and their golems claim that Mahmud is Sweden because he was born in Sweden. Yakuts are not Russians, only absolute morons will claim otherwise.
>Russian tries to scam people with asset flip >"Ummm he's obviously le israelite or le american, the heckin russiarinos would never do something so bad!!! And even if he's a russian living in russia he's not a proper russian because...he just isn't!!!"
Did anyone here actually think this shit would be decent? I thought this thing would never come out and even if it did the absolute best case for it was for it to be a hot mess of half baked ideas with glitches out the ass that would be dropped by the devs within a couple months.
>So what exactly was their plan?
Make fake vertical slice trailers. Get investors. Hire devs. Once that fell through, they resorted to "hiring" """volunteers""" and then just attempt to create the game entirely from UE assets and plugins from the marketplace.
>devs who are known for releasing shitty cashgrab games simply to abandon them weeks later >no actual gameplay footage before release >red flags all over the place
>somehow still sold at least 30k copies
This is the future gaming deserves, dipshit zoomers will literally buy anything.
The scam wasn't to try and run off with the release money (steam holds the money for a grace period and they are well within that). They don't give a frick about the refunds.
The scam was to spend 5 years duping investors into giving them cash for them to live off while basically doing nothing in those 5 years. They succeeded.
Surely Valve doesn't pay out the day somebody bought your game. So what kind of scam is that? They'll never get any money since valve will refund everyone before paying out what left of it to fntastic.
>there's no way people were desperate for zombie survival crafting #1000
Reminder that 7d2d and Prohect Zomboid have both been in EA for 10+ years and survive because people are fricking desperate for zombie survival crafting games.
None of the ones that exist fully tickle the itch; there's no "definitive" experience, each (usually) gets a few parts right and a frickload wrong, so until something comes down the pipe that plays like a polished and competently programmed lovechild of State of Decay and Project Zomboid, the genre will keep limping along.
With how drastic the situation has become in such a short span of time I'm not wondering if the devs were in fact not malicious and just really, really fricking stupid.
More like Europa won.
Today there are far less slavs in the world.
Lets not forget that until the Mohammeds and Ungungu Embembeles arrived slavs were the biggest criminals in Europa.

>never hear about a game >somehow it announces and explodes without me knowing, despite spending a majority of my time on Ganker, both at home and at work

same way they've refunded games in the past, like Cyberpunk.
It's really not that hard. The devs don't even get money from steam sales until the month ends.
So if everyone refunds the devs get 0$
It's more than just that anon. Overwatch 2 replaced Overwatch 1, you can't even play the original game most people paid for anymore. The way they handle the game in 2 is atrocious and the only way they did it was to sell future heroes rather than upkeep their promise that all future heroes would be free, after all they only made that promise with Overwatch 1.
A non-existent issue huh? Paywalling heroes when before they were giving them out for free and they'll make them overpowered just like how League does it to sell them?
I can only ask that you aren't a blind wienersucker for Blizzard and instead you critique them to do better. They probably won't, but you deserve a better game and better delivery of new content than what they are setting up now.
You can easily get all the characters by just playing the game.
Againa, a non-issue. You just fell for the "let's hate blizzard meme" You probably installed OW2 for 2 minutes, posted a negative review, and uninstalled

My point isn't the grind, it's the principal. We shouldn't have to grind to get content that was previous given out regardless of status. I truly believe Activison did OW2 dirty with the changes they did from 1 to 2. I use to play Overwatch 1 a ton, stopped a bit after Bridget just broke the game and then came back when the based Wrecking Ball was added.
I'm salty, yes, salty about Blizzard balance and even more so salty that they took away a game I enjoyed and told me to suck it with the way we were going to get new heroes. I also never installed Overwatch 2, I wouldn't give them the space or time of day.

Sounds like you are an impatient zoomer. You have bigger problems than OW2
Is rockstar the only game company that consistently outshines its game trailers with the actual release? I rewatched some GTA 5 and RDR2 trailers and they look like shit in comparison to how the games turned out
The guy had a bunch of zoomers and twittertards likely spamming the shit out of his account. Obviously he's going to do something like this.
I don't even know what the issue is, from the little gameplay I watched, it looked more is less like what was advertised. Which is to say sparse zombies, and PvP being the interesting part, so a lack of players means it's just a sad 7 Days to Die
From what I saw, people claim that this game is bunch of bought unreal assets, scripts, animations which were hastily put together, plus game was advertised as MMO but end up being extraction, like Tarkov.
Neither of those things warrant the response this game has gotten.
Tons of games just use bought assets, I'm pretty sure PUBG was 100% purchased assets.
And for the other argument, what the frick did people expect? How would a game like this even work without an extraction element? It would be Rust without base building which sounds dumb as frick.
Lmao they released a new update on steam >Dear Community, We would like to provide with an update.
We are sorry for the fact that the game didn’t meet the expectations of the majority of the players. Today we are working with Steam to open up refunds for any players who choose to make a refund. We’ll give further updates in the nearest future.
They're acting like they're the ones giving back the money out of their own goodwill
>Today we are working with Steam to open up refunds for any players who choose to make a refund. We’ll give further updates in the nearest future. >They're acting like they're the ones giving back the money out of their own goodwill
More like they're hoping some idiots will just let them have money for nothing. An honest company would issue refunds to everyone who bought it, no prompts needed.
My friend worked for them. It's not a "scam" in the traditional sense, it's not a low effort asset flip, it's a "moronic management with overblown egos who know nothing about game development try to develop a AAA game while only hiring college students for work becausw they're only ones who would work for 'experience' and 'royalties'." Employees all got demoralized and quit very quickly only to be replaced with the next batch, it was rotating doors all throughout the development, and the management kept changing their mind about features. They also made it set in America, despite nobody in the team being from there. There were no reference materials provided by the management, the developers were asked to "just copy locations from popular American games and shows." Most people knew it was a place to avoid and warned others to not involve themselves with them. The only reasons they got so far is because they were friendly with the much more successful MyTona, who only focus on mobile games and got a decently big studio out of that somehow (it's also a much better workplace.)
It's actually opposite, Gankereddit piss themselves whenever they see RUSSIA while Ganker enjoy Russian games - old like Space Rangers, King's bounty or new like Atomic Heart, Rogue Trader.
This might go down as one of the most strange and mysterious game launches I’ve ever witnessed.
A couple weeks ago my brother tells me about an upcoming game that’s about to release soon but has had no in-game footage shown. I had never heard about this game before but apparently it was notable enough to have people following its pre-launch.
It comes out. According to everyone it sucks ass and feels like an incomplete game.
The game is taken off online stores, the company shuts down and the CEO goes into hiding.
There is literally nothing mysterious about it. The launch was 100% just to satisfy clauses in contracts. They can now claim they delivered a product so they can't be sued on those grounds, they file for bankruptcy and bail out. Preferably the founders of the studio syphoned off some money before it all went to shit.
Even today large Russian businesses, especially IT and/or abroad-facing register their legal entities outside of the country for better tax regimes and less risk of a takeover.
Thanks for all the hardwork! and this amazing game! Having a blast so far. Don't pay attention to the haters comments, keep updating. :csgoa::csgoa::csgoa:

So why did people expect an indie dev to make an AAA game again?
the current internet meta is to shit on this game and call it a scam, it couldnt possibly be that this indie dev was way over their head and made a product that simply didn't deliver, no no no they are russian and russia bad and full of scam.
>scam
This word has lost all meaning thanks to you zoomers.
You're a zoomer
>no u
Amazing response aiden. Don't you have a fortnite concert to attend?
You're an amazing response
>it couldnt possibly be that this indie dev was way over their head and made a product that simply didn't deliver
Hey you stupid moron, the devs have done this exact same thing with their previous 4-5 other games.
you seriously implying these games are scams lel? idk man they look pretty indie to me. perhaps maybe they were too ambitious and made a shit game? no it has to be russian scam ofc.
>you seriously implying these games are scams lel?
Every single game they have made, they have abandoned after 1-2 months. Go read reviews on all of those games and you'll see.
>shit indie games with less than a hundred people playing at any given time
>indie dev decides to work on a bigger project
>plebs think this is a scam
frick sake dude
>frick sake dude
Just stop, you are a fricking moron. I could go into how they advertised and marketed like 50 different features that aren't in the game. Namely how it was meant to be an open world MMO survival game, but then ended up being a fricking 30 player lobby extraction game with zero survival elements other than hunger/thirst.
like I already said, a small indie dev got too ambitious and promised way too much they couldn't deliver, btw this isn't even new this happens all the time
and yet they still released it and asked for full price, curious
and only uploaded an apology AFTER sales had gone thru and people found out. curious.
>game comes out shit
>its expensive
again, this isnt anything new. in fact this happens most of the time with AAA games kek.
The new ubislop Avatar game is £115 for the ultimate edition. 115 ffs. Absolutely bonkers.
>a small indie dev got too ambitious and promised way too much they couldn't deliver
If this was actually the case, and they had good intentions, then they could have just said so and most people would probably understand it. But they never said a word. In fact, even like 1 week before release they will still hyping the game up and making it seem like it was going to be everything they had promised.
I mean, yeah, that's not the first time that happened, but usually dev either just silently goes under, just continues as nothing happened or No Man Sky happens. They don't declare bankruptcy four days after release, getting pulled from steam and deleting everything they can.
Why are you shilling so hard for them? Or are you just playing devil's advocate? This is from their Early Access statement. A game missing a frickton of content that they promised, has been in development for a couple years, and they only need LESS THAN 1 year to release all said promises. HMMMMM... Get your head out of your ass, moron.
Early Access game please understand. NO REFUNDS
>This is from their Early Access statement. A game missing a frickton of content that they promised, has been in development for a couple years, and they only need LESS THAN 1 year to release all said promises
this just sounds like every early access game ever tbh, it's the risk you run with these types of games and most people know this. again why are you pretending like this is a new thing, like it's only ever happened with this one game? are you knew to the gaymen industry? where is the same hoopla for star citizen or tarkov or other early access hell games? Or, are you this mad because you are the actual moron and you bought into it and got burned? couldn't be me.
why are you pretending like it IS a common occurrence? provide me ONE other example where a company underdelivered and then shut down the same week, offering no refunds to people. Yeah sure plenty of shitty games come out in EA, but most of them will continue to update/support the game the best they can, or they will be upfront with what the game is missing. No, I didn't buy it, I just think its a scummy situation, and you trying to downplay it like it's "common" is just as scummy.
>it wasn't a scam it was just a scam
I know english is hard for you vatnik Black folk but at least try
Blatant lying disqualifies you from having "good intentions"
Those 50 features are literally shit that dumb homosexuals imagined after watching the trailers though, which was the only advertising for the game besides ign interviews that accompanied them.
>plebs think this is a scam
but it is
it has been advertised as an open-world game and ends up being an instanced battle royale with the zombieshit being completely irrelevant in terms of gameplay while slapping flawed yet inferior mechanics from Rust. Not even The Forest's sequel game was this bad.
>scam game
>no u
imagine resorting to blatant reverse-psychology to shill a scummy dev
>shit indie games with less than a hundred people playing at any given time
>indie dev decides to work on a bigger project
That's a scam, yeah. When you make trash you charged people for and fail to fulfill promises to fix and keep it updated, or even "innocently move on due to low interest", that's called a scam or just really stupid business management (which is the same thing).
>Man at street corner sells jars he claims are lemonade.
>He’s done this 4 times in a row and every time it turns out to be cat piss
>Man comes back a fifth time and says it’s really lemonade this time
>Turns out it’s cat piss again
>Man runs off
>You’re sitting on the curb, cat running down your chin, drinking his jars dry saying to everyone that passes that it can’t be a scam because they don’t know just how much effort he put into bottling the cat piss.
Hope you enjoyed your jar of cat piss.
>food analogy
I'd rather have finished games than games that are constantly changing every fricking time I want to go play them, adding and removing shit for no reason other than to keep morons happy.
>build hype for game over couple years
>promise content
>release unfinished early alpha as Early Access to rake in $$$
>literally disband the entire project the next day
why take peoples money if they knew what they had was shit? they should have just canned it in silence but no they had to release to storm up controversy to bring more sales to a dead project that will linger on Steam
Yes, all those were FOTM asset flips with next to 0 support post launch.
It's literally an asset flip down to the fricking UI.
>and full of scam
Just like Zoe Quinn when she promised that Chuck Tingle game and she ran off with the money. Last I heard she's wasting money on making 3D swords and flight trips to conventions.
>no no no they are russian and russia bad and full of scam
this is true
Black person this isn't the first they pulled something like this.
This is the first time where the game was big enough for the normies to take notice.
people don't understand that trailers are NOT gameplay and that you can animate literally anything but that doesn't mean it'll be in game
MMO players have no brain capacity
who? What happened?
These homies work fast.
You work fast
>another woke game trashed
Nice. Maybe now even if its only a single dev, they will learn to make a character first, before making a character based on their skin color.

>4 days after game release studio shuts down and the ceo runs away like a b***h
I hope people get their refunds sooner than later.
I don't, anyone who bought this obvious shovelware asset flip is a literal automaton. They deserve to lose their money.
Valve apparently earmarks money for a month before giving it to developers. They'll get their refunds, count on it.
People who put down money for that slop deserve to get fleeced.

why would anyone be this mad? steam has full authority to credit back purchases.

no, the devs are russian, but they probably outsourced some of the work to pajeets and didn't pay them.
Which is kinda based

Honestly this will be another Cyberpunk 2077 case where Sony pulled the game from the store and refunded everything.
Not sure how anyone thinks they can get away with scamming people, especially on Steam where they're extremely lenient on refunds. Steam will absolutely give anyone that wants a refund back no matter the amount of hours played after Fntastic pulled this shit.
This. Steam is extremely friendly towards refund requests. I had a game that I played for 14 hours and still got a refund

Yes not everyone here is Slavic. Yakuts literally look like Nips and Chinks
Still russian though. Even if it's just siberian russians, mongol russians, whatever you want to call them. Just like something like the dagestanis are also still russian, even though they look like muslims.

Asians with a Russian mentality.
Is this like those tards saying "the studio is Californian, not the us"?
No, it's like israelites and their golems claim that Mahmud is Sweden because he was born in Sweden. Yakuts are not Russians, only absolute morons will claim otherwise.
>Russian tries to scam people with asset flip
>"Ummm he's obviously le israelite or le american, the heckin russiarinos would never do something so bad!!! And even if he's a russian living in russia he's not a proper russian because...he just isn't!!!"
He and his brother are ethnic yakuts(something close to Eskimos)
He is not slav
Their names were russified due to Russia controling Sakha for more than two centuries (they still have yakut names used unofficially)
He's not russian.
Did anyone here actually think this shit would be decent? I thought this thing would never come out and even if it did the absolute best case for it was for it to be a hot mess of half baked ideas with glitches out the ass that would be dropped by the devs within a couple months.
I'll admit I was into the idea initially until that trailer with the sports car just driving around. That's when I sorta knew something was wrong.
So what exactly was their plan?
>So what exactly was their plan?
Make fake vertical slice trailers. Get investors. Hire devs. Once that fell through, they resorted to "hiring" """volunteers""" and then just attempt to create the game entirely from UE assets and plugins from the marketplace.
i cant believe people are so angry for having a black dude on the cover, truly we live in the most racist time
>devs who are known for releasing shitty cashgrab games simply to abandon them weeks later
>no actual gameplay footage before release
>red flags all over the place
>somehow still sold at least 30k copies
This is the future gaming deserves, dipshit zoomers will literally buy anything.
>sold
90% of those are getting refunded
The scam wasn't to try and run off with the release money (steam holds the money for a grace period and they are well within that). They don't give a frick about the refunds.
The scam was to spend 5 years duping investors into giving them cash for them to live off while basically doing nothing in those 5 years. They succeeded.
Scamming investors killing vidya is pretty based, actually.
> somehow still sold at least 30k copies
200K
> 90% of those are getting refunded
50% as of earlier today, before game was removed from steam.
the swedes want the goyslop with Black folk in their products
Surely Valve doesn't pay out the day somebody bought your game. So what kind of scam is that? They'll never get any money since valve will refund everyone before paying out what left of it to fntastic.
Did you enjoy my game?
i put so much effort into my twitter and its not growing at all
So how did this shit even get noteworthy? Nothing about it ever looked good and there's no way people were desperate for zombie-survival-crafting#1000
>Nothing about it ever looked good
The idea of DayZ + The Division was what got people excited. Some of the early trailers made it seem fairly cool.
>Now, he's crafting a bandage so he doesn't die from bleeding!
Did morons really get excited for this? Even the trailer is garbage lmao.
>people watched this and thought it was legitimate
This is the bullshitiest of bullshot trailers I've ever seen.
Hindsight is 20/20
>the comments
Even 2 years ago people were already aware of how bullshit this trailer was
>there's no way people were desperate for zombie survival crafting #1000
Reminder that 7d2d and Prohect Zomboid have both been in EA for 10+ years and survive because people are fricking desperate for zombie survival crafting games.
None of the ones that exist fully tickle the itch; there's no "definitive" experience, each (usually) gets a few parts right and a frickload wrong, so until something comes down the pipe that plays like a polished and competently programmed lovechild of State of Decay and Project Zomboid, the genre will keep limping along.
The conspiracy theories that it wasn't even a real game got it rolling
Based. Hopefully he returns in the future to scam morons out of their money again.

The eternal Russian strikes again. When will this world be cleansed from their filth?
How can Ganker be so heartless? Now the Russian devs are at risk of bring drafted and sent to Ukraine to get Himarsed or droned. Just know your hate has severe consequences...
I wish that was true.
Don't worry, the devs are already in the planning stages for their new studio.
Can't wait to hear about their next scam... maybe it is better for them to be sent off to die in Ukraine.

Not a surprise, best things ruskies can do with their available education is steal Steam accounts
So what's going to happen with the refunds? how does steam handle the loss?
same way they've refunded games in the past, like Cyberpunk.
It's really not that hard. The devs don't even get money from steam sales until the month ends.
So if everyone refunds the devs get 0$

OW was a free game that was dislike bombed by antis
cope
OW is still alive and so is blizzard
the only one coping is (you)
>OW is still alive
>and so is blizzard
It's more than just that anon. Overwatch 2 replaced Overwatch 1, you can't even play the original game most people paid for anymore. The way they handle the game in 2 is atrocious and the only way they did it was to sell future heroes rather than upkeep their promise that all future heroes would be free, after all they only made that promise with Overwatch 1.
OW2 is just an update of OW1
You are complaining about an non-existent issue.
Correct
How is it incorrect?
OW has thousands of players every day.
Blizzard is still making games.
And you are a seething loser.
>And you are a seething loser.
i'm not here defending a megacorporation's shitty product from a funpost in a thread about a completely different game
No. Instead you are getting mad over a successful company's track record, which makes you far more pathetic.
here's the reply (You) so desperately want, don't spend it all in one place
I accept your concession, loser.
I still see your post, dumb homosexual. You aren't being clever or witty.

troony

I RAN SO FAR AWAAAAY
Unironically based. Imagine even paying attention to that trash let alone buying it. I didn't even know it released.
Hopefully into traffic
Smart guy
Only good move he could have made
CMOOOOON TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN
Lmao they released a new update on steam
>Dear Community, We would like to provide with an update.
We are sorry for the fact that the game didn’t meet the expectations of the majority of the players. Today we are working with Steam to open up refunds for any players who choose to make a refund. We’ll give further updates in the nearest future.

>Today we are working with Steam to open up refunds for any players who choose to make a refund. We’ll give further updates in the nearest future.
>They're acting like they're the ones giving back the money out of their own goodwill
More like they're hoping some idiots will just let them have money for nothing. An honest company would issue refunds to everyone who bought it, no prompts needed.
how long til the engoodening of Days Before?
>gotovtsev
kek, literally DONEtsev in my language
No it's because they're all israelite Black folk and thought typing int money = 999999999999999 will make them rick
ALL russian devs are scum. literally scamming israelite tier. i thought Gankereddit knew this?
It's actually opposite, Gankereddit piss themselves whenever they see RUSSIA while Ganker enjoy Russian games - old like Space Rangers, King's bounty or new like Atomic Heart, Rogue Trader.
EARLY
ACCESSINING ME
RAN FROM RELEASE
DE-LETE MY TWITTER
This might go down as one of the most strange and mysterious game launches I’ve ever witnessed.
A couple weeks ago my brother tells me about an upcoming game that’s about to release soon but has had no in-game footage shown. I had never heard about this game before but apparently it was notable enough to have people following its pre-launch.
It comes out. According to everyone it sucks ass and feels like an incomplete game.
The game is taken off online stores, the company shuts down and the CEO goes into hiding.
What the frick did I miss???
There is literally nothing mysterious about it. The launch was 100% just to satisfy clauses in contracts. They can now claim they delivered a product so they can't be sued on those grounds, they file for bankruptcy and bail out. Preferably the founders of the studio syphoned off some money before it all went to shit.
There was also no employees, they exploited free labour from uni students and morons.
So you're wondering who scammed morons, it was some Siberians.
Aren't they from Singapore? I thought only the publisher was based in Russia.
Even today large Russian businesses, especially IT and/or abroad-facing register their legal entities outside of the country for better tax regimes and less risk of a takeover.
deleted stuff, a box full of FREE RTX 4090s from Nvidia.
Thanks for all the hardwork! and this amazing game! Having a blast so far. Don't pay attention to the haters comments, keep updating. :csgoa::csgoa::csgoa:
