bullshit, anon, i wiped the filthy khans out to a man for their role in my attempted murder, but i let the brotherhood live because my friend would have been really sad if i killed her family. especially right after i convinced her to stay with them despite their differences.

i handled the three families' bullshit because i needed dorks to manage my casinos, but i capped cachino (cheap frick) and left the omertas without a leader so that whenever one emerged he'd be hungry for legitimacy and would accept my olive branch readily. both swank and marjorie owe me personally for cementing their positions AND that of their casinos, so they'll be eager to work with me over House.

Yes Man has 0 long term stability. It's also unclear if you're even the leader, and if you are, why is some mailman mercenary qualified for the job? What would the Courier do that the other options would not? Anyone who goes for Yes Man has an inflated self ego, in my experience. Legion Black folk tend to be neo-nazis who would've rather had an Enclave ending. NCR morons (I am one) either like it due to familiarity between the multiple games featuring them and their similarity to the US, sometimes they're just progressives who see it as the best option for that, there's a couple people who just like the iconography of it, and then there are the milsim literal morons who would rather an Enclave ending. Meanwhile I've never met a House homie who wasn't deeply invested in the setting and plot of the game, and they always have thoughtful reasoning.

      Anonymous

The Legion offers safety and a stable economy in a dangerous world. That alone makes them better in my mind than the NCR. I agree that there's something wrong with Enclave fans (I like the power armor and americana aesthetic but I'd never join them).

        Anonymous

I like the idea of the Enclave as a faction but it's always been more cartoonishly evil and moronic than the Legion. I think that having them as an alternative to the NCR could say a lot, there's also the fact that after 2 they're practically a military without a citizenry as far as we can tell. But in practice they're just the Legion, with the same issues in practice that kind of ruins them even if they have more interesting lore or possible relevance. Enclave gays are usually RETVRN morons sadly.
As for the Legion providing safety, it's at extreme cost to human existence and they're stated to not really have a chance to live much longer after Caesar anyway, by design even. They'll degenerate into tribal warlords again if anything, just ones that treat women worse.

          Anonymous

Unfortunately we don't get to see Legion civilization in New Vegas, all we see is how they act during war.
          >extreme cost to human existence
If you're a chem dealer or raider, sure.

We don't know how Lanius or Lucius act outside of war, and I don't believe either of them (and Vulpes) would be willing to destroy the Legion over petty power disputes.
