steam keeps it updated for me
workshop is ez
Piracy is a service problem.
Figure out the workshop thing and you're set. Updates are definitely not needed unless you're a cuck who buys trash on day 1,
I pay for games because I want more games like them to be made.
Piracy is why we have gacha
MTG came out in 1993 anon
>hurrr I'm a special snowflake because I pirate like a badass renegade
holy shit shut the frick up already imagine making that of all things your entire personality imagine still feeling obligated to remind someone to fricking pirate
keep paying for my vydea paypig 🙂
scripted response
>say a thing
>WTF WHY ARE YOU MAKING THING YOUR ENTIRE PERSONALITY
>say a thing every day over and over for years
it just activates the almonds for some reason
>Ganker is one person
>making that of all things your entire personality
Though there are people here who tie their identity to games like deep souls and (I guess) Nintendo, I don't think anyone ties their identity to downloading copies of games, or to use the israeli lawyer word: "piracy".
Anyways, you might be psychologically projecting. Do you tie your identity to things and remind people of it all the time? Like a vegan or derp souls fan?
I would pirate but I don't buy games at full price except on release (If I want a physical copy) and pirating would be a net negative in opportunity cost (man hours) compared to the 5-10 dollars I would spend on a sale.
If it seems like I would have to spend more than 30 minutes getting an unpatched copy to run its not worth my time.
>30+ years of piracy producing no real problem
It caused DLC overload, MTX, Games as a Service, gacha, casualization, appealing to SJWs and normies, and, worse of all, kernel-level DRM.
>corporate money coming into the medium didn't cause all these problems
>yes its those evil pirates with their illegal torrents!
Piracy existed since the Snes/Genesis, that cancer you mentioned wasn't originated by piracy
I do both.
I'm not black or Brazilian
I like to keep track of how many hours I wasted and I like steam achievements 🙂
I only pirate abobe products, windows keys and music that music services have restricted
I pay for vidia and movies because im not poor like you
Why do pirates try to encourage others to pirate?
You realize that if everyone pirated, there'd be no games, right? You should be grateful if anything for the people who pay for games, and encourage everyone to pay for games. Are you stupid?
>if(Anon.PaysFor("vidya")){PostReply("jew");}
A couple hundred, my portfolio is diverse. Again, I'm not black or poor.
Some games have such ridiculous file sizes that I would prefer not to hoard them on a hard drive.
What few games I don't pirate, I do so only if I decide the dev deserves my money.
Personally I have 4 shares of Microsoft but I also enjoy my Switch cartridges. I pirate gog games tho.
I don't really wanna pay hundreds of bucks just to play old vidya from my childhood I loved but morally I don't like pirating games that are available to buy right now.
I have a personal system that dicates what I'll allow myself to pirate and what I'll buy instead if it's easily available to purchase
>producing no real problem
piracy completely 100% validated the lootbox and season pass culture that you guys lament every single day, the same way the music industry was forced to pivot away from album sales because of services like napster
it's a cold hard truth
They were going to introduce lootboxes and season passes even if piracy didn't exist. They just want the money dude
pirates are the vegans of vidya
>how can you tell someone is a pirate? dont worry, they'll tell you
coomers too
>how can you tell someone is horny?
don't worry, they'll start a thread/post a cropped image

I pirated a game because I just wanted to see how it runs and bought it to support the developers
pretty much this i don't let myself seethe about the politics
what are you talking about? single player games don't exist anymore because of you pirates.
I have a job
There’s a fine line between antisemitism and just being a thief. You’re walking it buddy.
I got caught and had to pay 1500 euros for metro last light
France
I pay only for good games (just like everyone else)
Not me, I always pirate. Imagine paying woke devs for beta releases and then even more for dlc.
I can't really be bothered. It's honestly easier to just pay for the games, I don't want to frick around with sketchy trackers or what have you. I'm too dumb to avoid getting malware or whatever.
Pretty much
The cost of games is negligible
I mean I wouldn't say that, a lot of games will be more than I'd want to pay. But I can wait for discounts or sales, and I feel more likely to finish the ones I already have.
Can't be bothered pirating and unpacking games. It's not just the risk I just find it easier and generally games are more stable when you buy them through a store. That said I primarily only buy through GOG sales nowdays. That and gamepass provide more than enough kino for me. Frick paying full price for a game
Do companies even go after pirates legally anymore? Last time I heard of anything like that was in the Limewire days. People trying to profit off piracy do not count.
You might cop a cease and desist for seeding publically
I'm lazy
Games are cheap and I am lazy. Also not being able to update your game can suck.
I just pirate games that got censored or changed by pressure from wokeshits.
Any other game I pay for.
If I don't trannies and Black folk will and they'll produce games for them only besides very few people buy Nip games.
