>doesn't use a proprietary rf dongle
Why? Bluetooth sucks compared to dongle. If you must though, logitech G604 is pretty good until it starts double clicking like all Logitech mice do.
I don't want a proprietary dongle. Any sort of open wireless standard is fine. Though the most important feature beyond that is that it is actually performant wirelessly.
From what I can tell, the pure bluetooth modes of most mice - including logitech - are noticeable laggy compared to a wired mouse.
yea i don't like dealing with batteries or extra latency. wired mice work great for me. back in the late 2000s the cords would sometimes fray, but they build the cords better these days, i haven't lost a mouse due to cord shit since like 2010.
Batteries are a fair point, but the latency on a wired mouse is negligible to the point where I seriously doubt anyone can tell the difference, even pro players use wireless at this point.
>wired mouse >is PnP >wireless >"frick sake my connection dropped out guys, gimme 3 minutes to fix" >you were kicked - reason: AFK
Don't fall for the wireless meme, don't let the team down.
>No wire to get caught on anything >Superior premium design >Charge wirelessly while you play or plug in over night once every two months >Less lag than wired
How come you choose to be poor Ganker?
i took the wireless pill and absolutely love it. battery time has been great, and charges quick. and even when you charge it you use it just like a normal wired mouse
the only thing i care about tho is how free it feels compared to a wired mouse, much easier to use
The main drawback with wireless is the loss of one port for the dongle. Bluetooth might work but you'll always get whiners due to muh latency. Batteries are a non-issue really especially if you get good rechargeable ones like eneloops.
I use a wired. I never not play at my computer desk. It makes no sense to do cordless. I'd just be paying a lot more to remove a cord that is never an issue.
What the hell is the advantage of a wireless mouse anyway? Are you sitting thirty feet from your computer? Why would you do such a thing? I'm all for wireless controllers and headphones and such, but to me making a mouse and keyboard wireless is like giving a microwave a smartphone app. You have to put the food in there in the first place, so how would the app be more convenient than just hitting the buttons on the console?
>he uses a wireless mouse with holes
>mouse with holes
Doesn't it get filthy from the oils on your skin and shit?
you have no idea, i got one like that recently and i got no clue how to clean it properly
>inb4 boomer morons who still use microsoft mice start talking about muh latency
>he thinks the wire is why he's shit
Alright, convince me. What's the most responsive top tier wireless mouse that doesn't use a proprietary rf dongle?

>he believes
>caring what other people do when it doesn't determine your choice or affect it at all.

ye fair, guess it's just batteries at this point then. cord isn't really a bother to me so i'm fine with wires

Going through 6 Billion AA batteries a year gets real old when you can't just ask your parents to buy more.

What third world country do you live in where a mouse wire can get caught on something?
>plug in over night once every two months
This is bullshit
i have to charge my mouse every 3 days at least
>No wire to get caught on anything
Are you gaming on the couch like some sort of plebian?
yes
>he has to recharge his mouse
i took the wireless pill and absolutely love it. battery time has been great, and charges quick. and even when you charge it you use it just like a normal wired mouse

I switched back to wired mice and keyboards because I got sick of having to change the batteries at the worst possible time.
I despise wireless bullshit, adding batteries, weird setup issues. Frick all of that.
>plug in dongle
>turn on mouse
>just works
oh man weird setup issues such a pain holy frick!!
>oh man weird setup issues such a pain holy frick!!
Why, why just maybe, I'm basing this, on prior experiences with wireless mice that shit the bed randomly
>ITT: Third worlders who can't afford a proper wireless mouse or batteries
>ITT: Fiscally responsible adults who don't spend extra money on things with no tangible benefits just to flex on "the poors"
FTFY
>no tangible benefits
shitter cope who think cable drag isn't a big deal
You're the type of homosexual who buys a fart can for your mid-00s Japanese shitbox.
>extra money
the cheapest logitech one is literally $40
but that's probably still your entire month's salary you fricking monkey

I am using a wired mouse and there's nothing you can do to stop me.
mice are not wierd
I love my Razer Viper.

I have to replace mouse every fricking month because the scroll wheel always fails
zoomer here
i use wired mice and wireless is objectively shit 🙂
>Why yes I do spend 400$ a year on batteries, how can you tell?
rechargable batteries a thing, moron
bet some of you use wifi instead of ethernet
>He uses a mouse
