the powercreep is insane but its better than most of the new mons being worthless gimped shitmons who only exist to make GEWWUN look stronger. Ideally Game Freak would split the difference and buff old shitmons so they can keep up with the nu stuff but that's not how Game Freak works.
what you'll notice if you're actually a serious Pokemon competitor is that almost nobody has a real special wall akin to Blissey (that could also threaten Flutter Mane) on their teams.
Maybe because GameFreak doesn't make them---namely, high SpD mons with few weaknesses and decent offensive capabilities, similar to Snorlax and Galarian-Slowking

Charizard was common but not that common and only in restricted meta since outclassed by Venasaur.
What's crazy is that Fluttermane isn't even the most used mon here, with only two teams not having an Urshifu.

It's called the Assault Vest. You can give it to an offensive mon and then have your special wall also be a sweeper.

Agree. Also fricking everything is running Tera grass for this and Urshifu and they STILL are used nonstop.
Breloom is slow and frail with common and multiple weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
In Gen III it wasn't even considered an OU level Pokemon and to this day sees comparatively low usage.
