EU here, if you install the game from disc make sure you're offline, when you start the game too, and it will stay at 1.00 version.
If you're online when installing or starting it, it will update it secretly to 1.002 something, it won't ask you at all or show a progress bar, just a silent update.
Till your PS 5 pulls a windows 10 and stops everything till you are forced to accept the update.
is this game really worth the hassle?
No, the game itself copies elements from other games to form a serviceable gameplay experience, that pales in comparison to any other action game like DMC for example. Stuff like batman vision, yellow paint and QTEs shouldn't even be in this game.
The game success rides solely on the ass and tiddies of their characters, which would work if the game wouldn't be amateur tier otherwise.
Why it is priced at $70 is beyond me, but Snoys would pay anyway.

Bong copies are 1.00, there is some miss information due to people going online which force updates the game even if you go offline again it will brick the game till it updates so you have to delete the game and reboot/reinstall the game to go back to 1.00 while always offline.
