I've wasted 10 years on this pile of shit, never really having fun, only for it to get EOSed like this. So many regrets. I can't even say the journey was worth it because it was just a undynamic card game and there was no social element to make friends with.

I know one c**t made director just before these layoffs. The biggest ki*e I've ever met. Blizz is promoting failures upwards, so sell your stock
Sorry I keep forgetting you can't say ki*e on Ganker because it advertises christian values like Shadowheart's bare arse
>so sell your stock
Might reinstall it then. I'm waiting for dc dualforce to release to fill the hole
I played it once for the WoW mount back in 2013 and never touched it again. Sorry you wasted time on this piece of shit.
Dude you play play wow and are acting holier than thou for not playing hearthstone. Get a fricking grip man.
>I played it once for the WoW mount
The irony here is palpable
>Sorry you wasted time on this piece of shit.
>He says, having played wow
>game about moving random cards with random numbers and random pictures
this game literally needs no developer input, just AI generate few cards every now and then and cardgays will spend 10000$ a month on it
There's a split between people wanting big overpowered cards with wacky random effects and old players who like balanced interactive play. There's too many "flip a coin, if heads rape your opponent" cards
last time i played (for some shitty wow reward), opposite player was pulling ten 0 mana cards out of his ass and nuking me in 2 rounds. shitty casino mobile game.
I stopped playing because there was a card that lets you look at your opponents hand and remove a card. Also a warlock mill deck that was awful to play against. I miss when rez priest was the worst thing to play against
I stopped playing years ago but back in the day hearstone was a pretty good game that rewarded skill a lot more than most card games, in fact I got into it at first because it was popular among top chess grandmasters like svidler and karjakin
i enjoyed the game in beta, haven't seen a "good" card game since then
>hearstone was a pretty good game that rewarded skill
HAHAHHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAH get a load of this moron and laugh
hearthstone was "who can drop the most cash into the game and get all the current meta OP legendaries that outclass every other card by a gargantuan magnitude". I will never forget DR BOOM and getting victory snatched away from me by multiple benjamin franklins concerned mugs
I spent 5€ on it and I was consistently top 500 eu or better for years after the first 2 months of grinding
Funny to think that Dr. Boom used to be an OP card. It wouldn't even be legendary if printed this year
In the early era of Hearthstone Zoolock was always tier 1. The cheapest deck possible. While there was Wallet Warrior that had a good matchup against it, most other classes didn't. Funnily enough Zoolock was destroyed by one of the most overlooked changes ever. The nerf to Abusive Sergeant from 2/1 to 1/1 was absolutely devastating for Zoolock. But until then money certainly wasn't a good excuse to not be 'successful' at Hearthstone
Hearthstone was never good. None of the blizzard games were ever good (maybe except diablo which was a different company). All their games are simplifications of a genre for casuals
F and S at the same time.
Mage >>>> everything else.
the hell? I always thought he was looking off to the right, not forwards
WTF you played a game for 10 years?
And a shitty mobile card game at that?
The frick is wrong with you?
What kind of mental illness is that?
it's a turn off your brain and do your daily quests type of game. I would play in the morning with coffee
>comfy daily quests
>in p2w pvp game
good luck, i will do my morning fap and comfy dailies in nikke instead
I'm an uber israelite with dust/gold and only play half the classes. I was able to fully craft the expensive top tier decks every xpac after awhile
Does that homosexual kripp still play?
How has he not gone insane?
because it's how he makes a living
you can clearly see he's bored during his videos but he's forcing himself through it
I don't think someone like him needs to keep doing anything for a living
He does if he wants to keep up his lavish lifestyle
>you can clearly see he's bored during his videos but he's forcing himself through it
There's no way that lanky wog hasn't induced some form of brain damage by subjecting himself to tens of thousands of hours of this children's card game. That babushka-looking prostitute he married who's currently blowing all his money on Mercedez camper vans is going to divorce rape him so hard once the early-onset Alzheimer's sets in.
>blowing all his money on Mercedez camper vans
It gets worse: she goes on "solo" camping trips while he's home streaming.
I've never actually played Hearthstone but I remember Kripp and some others like TrumpSC being huge back when it launched. That they're still playing it 10 years later as a full time job is extremely disturbing to me. An entire lifetime gone playing this shitty game.
>That they're still playing it 10 years later as a full time job is extremely disturbing to me
they're both still smalltime streamers and only remembered for hearthstone, so they play the game they hate otherwise they get zero viewers
>release a gacha mode
>with shit art and covered women
western devs
Welcome to the club
I thought the game was pretty cool when it first came out. I thought of all the cool stuff they would do with it like team battles, coop like raids, card trading. They did do some neat stuff but like the adventure mode but it was always half finished or unbalanced as frick. I'll miss the fun times I had when all my friends were playing it and we were excited for wow.
F for "old hearthstone" and the culture surrounding it. It was alot of fun despite its flaws.
I cant really say when the game got REALLY bad with powercreep (Descent of Dragons maybe?) but its gotten obscenely bad over the past 2-3 years with random generation, infinite value, and infinite combos to appeal to phonegays and morons.
Im not going to say it was a god tier CCG or anything, but it was charming and fun and the devs absolutely destroyed it and spat in the fanbases face while doing so.
Here's some actual insight on the situation.
>At least 10 members of HS staff were laid off.
>Only one was a senior producer on the game
>The rest were Q&A, ex WoW GM's given a pity position in the HS team, or people hired after all the Blizzard purge during the Cosby Suite drama.
All this is turns out to be is Microsoft probably giving Blizzard a list of fat to cut, before they seal the deal next week.
The Hearthstone team has in the past managed to avoid every major company purge, or layoffs that's hit the Blizzard teams in previous years. This is why they're getting a restructuring now.
How the frick does a mobile card game maintain your attention for 10 years? Are you literal lobotomite?
"maybe the next expansion will be better"
>I've wasted 10 years on this pile of shit, never really having fun
That's on you anon. The frick are you doing playing a game you don't like for 10 years?
They deserve it for permanently ruining digital tcgs with their moronic design decisions
I can't wait for the salt mines when this pos finally closes because its not profitable enough.
Whales watching >$20k in virtual cards disappear in-front of their eyes forever.
Be honest: would you play a pirate server where you had access to all the cards for free?
Honestly I enjoy grinding out packs
How much money did you pay to win?
Every card game is dead in the water, the fad has passed. Only magic has survived thanks to its autists, though i imagine zoomers dont really care that much for it, so its only a matter of time before that goes bust too
The only valuable insight in this thread.
Zoomers hardy play any video games, they just twitch zooming while snorting kratom and scrolling tiktok endlessly. The whole multiplayer fad is fading only kept on life support by millenial whale manchildren
Magic survives because it keeps re-implementing itself and they understood very early that there needs to be rotation.
With HS they tried to keep 'evergreen' cards but this was a trap and a horrible mistake i saw even on release.
Imagine being mentally ill enough to spend your time on blizzshit after WotLK.
Absolutely grim
can someone post an actual list of who got kicked out
