Supposedly both? I've had no issues so far either, but the people I'm hearing complain about it seem to first be getting the error when hopping onto the Steam version, and once they get it it affects them on mobile too. Haven't noticed any common patterns between those cases so far, hence why I'm curious.
I only play on steam and just got 403'd. Since it use 403 so i assume it's the "access forbidden" kinda error so i tried using mobile connection via tethering and it works. My home internet use dynamic IP so probably i pulled one of the blacklisted IP during a reset. On other JP game that i play i sometime get kicked when loading a match for being 'overcrowded' even though there's only 4 people in the room out of 30 max capacity. Tsukuba server on vpngate also won't let me connect when i pulled a blacklisted IP. Third world country problem.
A spark is what people seem to call the bonus you get if you spend enough quartz on one banner. Here it's 200 rolls, so 60k quartz. I don't know where the name comes from since I've never heard it in the previous gacha I played.
Granblue, the father of this mechanic. The points there are called sparks, thus sparking became the term that's generally used everywhere in gacha.
Alternatively you can also say pity, but pity can also refer to guarantees after X draws, while sparking generally refers to getting the banner target, if there is one.

I see. Looking at your comp what you really need is a buffer (S Shiki, S Yuina or S chinese girl are preferrable, in that order) to buff when you can't damage Red Crimson. You can also just level up more with prism battles but in the long run it's highly recommended to have at least a buffer.

Buy the 3 vials to unlock S Ruka's skill. I suggest getting the limit break tokens, but if you want to unlock an old event asap sure go for edelweiss. There's a new event coming up, you can always get another one there.

How long is chapter 1? i'm at day 9 and it's still going, i really don't wanna start skipping but i need to clear chapter 1 asap so i can do the summer event before it ends.
13 to my knowledge, but I'm fairly sure you need to complete chapter 2 to do this event, so most likely you're out of time. Don't bother skipping, events are permanent: you can unlock previous ones with an Edelweiss and most events so far have only had a chapter 1 completion requirement so you'll likely be able to get an Edelweiss from the next one.
Newbie who just beat FlatHand, I have only 1 million GP, buying these Chapter 4 boosters is going to be a huge pain in the ass. Which do you recommend getting first, the attack focused (type depending on attacker type) or all-around defense focused one? I'm thinking defense since my chars are mostly stuck at 90 and not dying is probably more important than pumping out more damage for an account like mine but I'm not sure
Grats. The 4.1 enemies are damage sponges for the most part so I'd recommend the former first, but if you don't have LB1s or S level boosted SSes (like having SS Adel or Kozue with their respective event S style maxed out) then it's a tougher call. What's your party looking like right now?

320 is the highest border so far, and damage increases way too fast past that. You don't need that for regular enemies, as those probably won't be at 320, but there will be bosses like that.
To get a feel for that, you can try any level 10-12 prism battle. 10 has a slight damage nerf, 11 is neutral and 12 increases damage. To give an idea with the current ch3, the last boss is supposedly at 260. While chapter 4.1 doesn't go to 320, it has tons of bonus damage, so in a way it's nothing difference defense-wise, but it'll be a little easier to damage.

Yeah...most of my team's skills are still Lv.1~3, styles aren't fully filled out yet, 4-5 star accessories, only one reincarnate on one character, Lv.90 caps on most of them due to cruising on my initial pull and hoarding since then (30000 saved up, would rather wait for 60k for a spark and a banner I really want). I'm gonna have some work to do. I don't have Shiki or the chinese girl S styles to work on either. Which six star accessories are the easiest to acquire first?
You could try grinding the israeliteel prism bosses. At +4 they provide better stats than 5 star accessaries. Probably better than going through the dungeon for the rings.
Sure, but with enough defense you can auto through the dungeon. You will need to do everything eventually anyway. The arena bosses also drop those nuts at higher difficulties too.

Aren't you using these dungeons for upgrading skills on some chars, or giving low level chars some boosts?
I'd like to think doing dungeons with a team designed for auto combat is a waste of life.
Maybe you already have all units max level and all skills leveled to max on possibly useful units as well. I don't play that long though.

I didn't make teams specifically for elemental dungeons. At most I pick more AoE skills before I start one. This team can comfortably run the thunder and water ring dungeons on auto except for the bosses where it would waste too much energy. And it could already do that when only the rings existed as 6* accessories. You just gotta restrict auto mode to only use healing and AoE skills.

There's "wasting" life and wasting your own time as well. Not the other guy, but at this point I find running dungeons too mind numbing to do manually. So if I need to farm a +4 ring, I do it on auto from start through the 2 bosses. I won't get every single reroll stone but that's not the end of the world.
If I want to level characters, arena and prism are fine for that.
If I want to level skills, I'll do shuttle run.
The grinding stuff isn't fun to do, so do it all on auto.

I'm not either of them, but to me autoing for longer is a bigger waste of time than 1-turning everything manually if you're in a position where manual control makes a difference. It's a matter of perspective since due to the nature of the game I'd much rather spend less time playing actively than spending a little more time doing almost nothing.
Right now that only means prisms when doing a lot of them en masse with tickets and/or life, though, because for dungeons you can comfortably 1-turn everything except the bosses on auto with an AOE lineup which makes the comparison moot.
With the current daily/weekly quartz rate, how long would it take to get another 10k quartz? Because I don't think you'll be waiting much longer for Miya.

Weekly rate is 990 quartz. If the event is the same as the last one, then we get:
1500 from the event store
300 (assuming 3 weeks) from score attack
790 from getting event medals
So with the September event only, it would take 7 weeks. That would obviously push into October, which brings in another batch of event quartz. Which then reduces it to just under 5 weeks, or before October.
So basically, as soon as I can cash in on the October event I'll get 60k.

I appreciate the streams that are for me and appreciate that they announce their plans in advance so I can put the bare minimum amount of effort to see if they'll be talking about something I'm interested in or not. Megumi is Love Live 2nd gen lead, and they have a live concert on 2/11-12(obviously with the rehearsals and stuff before it), so her appearing is a scheduling nightmare, unless the anni event is really early(like mid January?) like the half-anni one and even then who knows.
What are the orb skills after the first? Don't really feel like doing the orb bosses, but if the skills are decent I may as well grab the orb so I can use the skill on one character. Frick grinding out the mastery though.
After finally being done with all the event grind mandatory stuff, including archived events (to my surprise event 1 only had 5 S coins, instead of 15, so I collected more medals than I even needed... luckily I realized it before getting all), I could finally look at some of the endgame stuff again.
So with the new boosters, I got past the fire orb boss. Even comfy enough that if I ever get a field remover, the other 2 will only be a matter of getting the accessories from the boss. Without that however, double damage from the second one compared to the first on (including the 25% damage mitigation vs. the second one) is too much.
I also started doing some hail horses. Again with the new booster even tier 12 is quite doable. Though you really need either lb1, or higher cap through event S or similar.
I still hope the LB system gets reworked. Like I do have Ichigo which is normally useful against hail horses, but she's level 91 lb 0. Unusable. This should effect most players and is honestly just a big negative right now. The "upgrade bar" we have now makes me hopeful. This system could be redesigned into a solution for this. As in, they could make it you could freely distribute this bar, and reset that when you want. Add to that replacing all generic SS coins with that bar's %. 1 SS coin = 10%. The way it is right now, people sit on their golden coins anyways, and that bar won't be different.
It's been days but i still get this p403 error on my home internet connection no matter how many times i restart the router and getting different IP. Feels like someone ddos'd the server or server related to wfs using my country IP and then wfs decided to just range ban the IP instead of deploying proper counter measure like most games. I guess it's time to uninstall because i don't want to update for GBs in the future using my mobile data connection. It's not even a week but i guess it's pretty fun. Oh well, at least i can still watch online videos for the main story. Good luck fellas.
You're not gonna be missing out on much anyway. People can do whatever they want, but I personally can't recommend the game to people that aren't already Key/yuri fans, and even they I'd say are currently better off watching story videos until the global version inevitably releases.

Ok, rather than "can't" I'll say it's exceedingly unlikely. The reason being that the type is tied to their weapon, and their skills are tied to that as well. So if she got a blunt weapon and ult, then she would be unable to use her slash A skill. If they ever do it, it'll probably be much later in the game on an alt. Definitely not for their uniform "standard" SS.

Imagine being able to run the ults of 2/3 different damage types on 1 character. i would instantly dump all of my limit breaks into her.
This game gets a ridiculously low amount of fanart in relation to how high it is in the revenue charts. Makes me think that it doesn't have all that many players, but among the players it does have there are a much larger number of whales. Obviously being JP-only doesn't help but even then it's extremely low
Key stuff has never gotten much art and the yuri focus only amplifies that. I like this better than being flooded with shitty het porn or something like that.
Individual banners don't change over time, but you get ones with certain units having higher rates than others. I've never paid attention to the overall SS/S/A breakdown, so I don't know if that's ever different.
A few weeks ago there was a banner where the SS characters appeared at a 4.5% rate instead of 3% rate. I think it was to commemorate the half anniversary.
She's probably the most forgettable character for me now so hopefully they'll give her some screentime and characterization instead of being a walking trope. Is she welfare or gacha though?
Carol and Irene having ultimates that can be used as long as you have positive SP can lead to interesting design possibilities in future. S Irene has a skill that increases a character’s SP to 3 exactly, which means that Carol could have really good burst if it works how I imagine.
They also added story warnings for going to the arena. If that's not a bug, I don't even. I mean yeah, sure, technically it makes no sense that certain characters participate in a chapter 4 arena, I get it. But come on. Pretty sure arena didn't have warnings for a reason.
Not too terribly surprised. 31X's gimmick was always going to be SP manipulation and the best way to encourage that is to give both Carol and Irene SSes. Vritika getting the event S is weird, but Maria needs an SS to make use of her tokens anyway so it's not that outlandish.

I haven't done any datamining of my own recently, but last I heard and saw from others the model is currently incomplete but definitely present, so it's only a matter of time. Pairing it with Miya is the perfect opportunity to do so.
I don't think that's the reason for it as most events so far have followed this kind of formula, but I would not be surprised if we got 4.2 sooner than expected.

Not my least favorite, but bottom half for sure. The best thing about this event was all the little things they picked up from the character bond events. But that's about that. I suppose there's also where the event stands if you consider ch4, but that didn't really matter for the event itself.
Not looking forward to the billions of prism battles though. May even skip the event S as she feels utterly useless.
The "defender" thing is way too expensive and because it's a debuff, it means min values are going to be used.
Atk debuffs also suffer from it like that. It's pretty pointless. Filling an entire character slot with that seems silly.
In the arena you are also much better with quick burst than some kinda weird slow defensive play. Even if you are relatively new I feel like grinding some archive event would make more sense, as some of those event S actually have reasonably helpful things they can offer. (OD charge, Enhance, disable)
Oh I completely missed that her skill is single target and not AoE. I was thinking that you could use a 5k blunt attack turn 1 (because of the negative SP), nothing to do with the defense. Anyway, I'll probably unlock the S but not her pieces.
The two movies were the highlights and that's about it. Having both Megumi and Maki was a bit of a weird choice though

Maki is pretty much a character designed to interact with Megumi, going from her 1st character story to 2nd Ruka-only story was like going from comedy gold to a random filler.
They do? They have multiple sync sperg moments and some small interactions here and there, but both of them are pretty much secondary characters for this story, so they don't get much focus in general.
Liked it more than the first 3. Mixed events are always a blessing. I liked Maria in this one and it's nice to see how Ichigo mellowed out compared to how she was in chapter 2. Carol's way of talking won't be changing anytime soon so my opinion of her remains so-so.
Way easier than last month, I just needed Sumomo to land the crits. With Orb and Yanagin I think it was around 70% or so?
Aoi buying you turns to grab SP and Overdrive is fricking amazing.
Oh don't worry Anon, I just used SS Koju only because of better stats. She's there for the thunder defense down and she doesn't get hit anyways so you can just S Koju just fine with this lineup.
I know at least one other person uses this, so here you go. New poses and I've rewritten the program. With the new version you'll no longer need to download a json file every time. It'll detect new, changed and renamed character files all on its own.
You don't really need to raise the bar, it only makes the equipped character gets it permanently. Just try to clear Lvl 12 so that you have 3 crit orbs to equip.

Heh. You still need one of the few available field creation SS for that. Even for lvl 11. That is something most people won't have.
You just have to survive the first attack, And that's doable with 300++ Spirit without resistance bracelet to not get killed.

Dude that fight took me like 25 turns. Not everyone has Seira and overpowered SS with multiple limit breaks.
Some people here seem to either spend a lot or are just blessed with a lot of good RNG. Not everyone is like that though. While the lvl 1 orb boss got a lot better, lvl 2 is still doing double the damage, with the lvl 1 accs.

My only field ability is Higumin's and that obviously is no good for the thunder orb boss. Aoi completely trivialized the level 3 fight.
Just so I know, what's an example of a field creation SS? Because I don't think I'm using one to clear the strongest crit orb boss. And don't orb bosses only go up to level 3?

Mari, tsukasa etc. Basically the battle starts with a fire field wich gives the boss extra damage. You can override it with a field of your own to change the field element away from fire.

and you have my crit orb team. At least I never use her skill that creates a field and it would be fire anyway. Tama's DP restoration lets the team last long enough while Bungo and Swimomo deal the damage. The only time it fails is when the boss targets Tama directly because then she dies immediately even at full DP.

I don't know about 2 months, but considering there was 5 months between 2 chapters, taking more than 3 months between 2 parts of the same chapter would be quite shamefur dispray from them.
I don't want to post a screenshot in case someone still hasn't finished 4.1, but I just looked through my gallery noticed I'm missing an image at the very end. Second to last row in the center between the two images of food. Does anyone know when that happens? Is it day 11 or 12?
Not sure if it was mentioned anywhere, but the event store page suggests we're getting 2 score attacks this month, both giving medals for the current event. Interesting way to fix the glaring problem with the previous event.
How I wish this wasn't true. I couldn't care less about bragging so score attack does almost nothing for me, but that's still more than the different flavors of mindless grinding we have right now. I want more bond events and minigames with no rewards besides fun like the LitBus baseball game.
It's not fixed. Score attack doesn't seem to be in the archive at all, so the entire reason to change the events so future players can still get score attack rewards is still not even remotely working.
We also still only get 50 coins max per fight missing the average +~20 from S dungeons. So if you can't do 91+35, you are still very much fricked.
It was to be expected though. I said this before, but even if they are aware of issues, it takes them multiple small steps before it gets to be solved. We'll get an LB situation change in a couple of months again as well, I'm pretty sure. Maybe in a year from now the game is finally working well. Maybe.
Luckily the current event S is crappy enough that you can postpone getting her. If she ever has a wortwhile SS that you get, you can still farm it later.
Correct, the caveat being dropping my only high LB DPS for Aoi and being left with low LBs, Aoi herself included. A fight being easy because you have the perfect DPS setup is one thing, but a fight being faceroll tier to the point of accidentally winning it when you don't know what you're doing because Aoi's ult is cheap in every sense of the word is quite another.
They have really weird ideas for some concepts. In the context of this game her skill is essentially a guaranteed hyper stun and it costs 10 SP, meanwhile Megumi's SS normal "well maybe it will stun for a turn if the rng procs" stun skill is also 10 SP somehow because the stuns are not balanced in their head, so every stun skill have to be pre-nerfed.
To be honest, Ichiko and Aoi kinda broke the state of the game. You can kill anything that is not fire resist easily with current fire team or cheese any content with Aoi. It's ridiculous that both Ichiko and Aoi are OP yet Sugayan becomes essentially blunt version of Adelheid.
As I said earlier, Aoi skill is basically the reason all Megumi stuns were pre-nerfed on release to the point of them basically being too SP inefficient and not reliable enough to use over the normal debuff skills. The devs were too afraid that the ability to reliably make your enemies to do nothing when you want would be too broken, so they nerfed it to the ground. I don't know why didn't they do the same thing for Aoi too if they care so much about it, they either forgot or intentionally did it for cash money.
Had to try 3 times to beat Rotary Mole.
First try I reached him with 0 stamina.
Second try I forgot you only had to take out his DP in the first phase, so I entered the second phase with my resources spent.
Third try I killed him, but it still took ages. The fire crit boost meant it’d be more cost efficient for Ruka to use her 8SP AOE instead of her welfare SS ulti, but it took me too long to realize that.
I like how if you don't want to renew the pass for next month, you can still claim the new rewards as soon as the monthly missions refresh.
So the best time to buy a pass for just 1 month, but still claim almost double the rewards would be like around the 16th-18th so you can get twice the login rewards.
But you get double the rewards if you renew the pass in consecutive months, so you end up with the same efficiency per money spent, just over a longer period of time.
I think the best time to buy a pass if you have no intention of renewing is in the middle of the month.
But if you want to renew, it would be at the start of the month? or maybe the day right before the next month. Because I wonder when the doubling happens. If it happens in concurrence with the monthly reset then you would want to buy it right before the reset to get the most value (for the first time)
But thinking about it again, it might still be better at the middle for when you want to stop one day.
From what I can understand from the in-game help, the way the doubling works is that when you let your subscription renew automatically, the rewards for next month's monthly missions are doubled.
So the optimal time to buy a pass is past the 24th of any month so you get an "extra" month.
In terms of pure value for money, buying a pass every other month after the 24th and collecting the rewards for two months is the best.
The value for money for a continued subscription is a tiny bit lower due to the initial months without the reward doubling, but it evens out to the same over time.
maybe it's stockholm syndrome, but I kind of like how buffers and debuffers are mandatory in this game. you actually NEED to have all of the roles working together in a team to beat things.
Usually in RPGs these roles are useless or situational.
I think the fact that your heals and ultimates are limited contributes to how important buffers and debuffers are. You can’t just out-tank the boss over 50 turns, you have to make sure your limited attacks hit really hard.
So far I find most of the tank styles quite useless (don’t have SSR Aoi). I’m also reluctant to use status effects because of how unreliable they are, considering how expensive they are to cast.
Honestly the pass doesn't offer that much quartz value since 3k for 2900yen is only ~275 more quartz than what you can buy just raw. Keep in mind pass quartz is not counted as paid either. You're also losing out on the first month and it'll take ~6 months to make up for it. So you're only earning more quartz half a year in.
The x10 roll per month and random SS per 3 months don't feel worth it either. Remember that these two don't get doubled
The only worth part is the 4 gold pieces. That literally makes it the P2W pass.

It's not insane value, but it is more value. You're discounting the non-quartz rewards too much.
The average value of an SS is 33 rolls, so the SS ticket fragment is worth 11 rolls. Added with the other tickets you get 22 rolls which is worth 6600 quartz, giving you 2.79 quartz per yen without the doubling and 3.31 quartz per yen with the doubling. That's significantly more than the 1.5 quartz per yen from sales and the base 1 quartz per yen.
And that's not counting the SS pieces, which are harder to value. Let's say 10 pieces is the same worth as an SS dupe for the first two LBs, then using the 33 rolls value of an SS, you're getting an additional 0.68 quartz per yen for the first month and double for later months.
Paid quartz isn't worth that much in this game. Once you've bought enough to pull on all the paid banners, it's the same as free quartz. Even a minnow could reach that level.

That said I personally don't care too much this event. But some fights are so annoying to do because of RNG crap (like aoe confusion for example), that skip would be great there. Everything else is just repeat stuff mindlessly, which you can do while doing something else at the side.

I can reliable kill the boss in 4/5 turns ( (Difference caused by confusion) on auto without any LB's on damage units. Takes me less than 10 minutes to do everything before logging out.

My bad, it's not confusion but a bind skill. He can cast laser bind on turn 1, but the effect isn't guaranteed even if he casts it. It's not a big deal but if you full auto then characters moves to the backrow if the get binded. I use Shiki so it fricks up my SP generation if she gets caught.
The aoe confusion skill that the other anon was talking about was from the Shogi event if i recall correctly.
Seem fine to me, though I think the welfare Ruka would be a better healer than S Yanagi since she has better stats. Also you probably want to have a SS blaster and buffer down the line so try to roll for them if you can.
For +6 Bracelets, it's +%200 Normal Attack buff and +45 Spirit and Defense.
For +6 Earrings, +%15 Skill Buff(DP, HP, DR%, OD), +1200 DP, and +48 Int.
Anything less than the above drops the +N. If Seraph.day is accurate, the +N is dependent on the following range of stats the accessory has.
For Bracelets:
Normal Attack buff: +%100 is +0, +%150 is +1, +%200 is +2.
Spirit and Defense (counted independently): +29~32 is +0, +34~40 is +1, and +45 is +2.

Aoi's ult is basically her scene from the story. The taunt lasts 3 turns but the shield only lasts 2 hits. So if you keep her in the frontline for 3 turns she's pretty much guaranteed to die on the last turn if she eats an entire full party attack at 3x damage. I've had her die on me a couple of times now.
I’ve never done any of those because I’m focusing on the story, and there aren’t any reminders for them in the home screen. The only rewards are some player experience and 200 quartz each, right?
You also get GP and the dungeons themselves have goodies like up to date boosters and gems. It's decent for players that are progressing through the story and lack funds. But yeah if you've already beaten the story than it's just for the quartz and completionism autism.
Does it tell you anywhere if you've done them already? I could swear I've done at least some of the early ones, but when I talk to Asami on those days, there's no indication of that.
Both on this screen and when you select the mission. Most of the quests require two visits so you might have just done the first visit. You first fully explore the dungeon and then at a later day Asami calls you that the boss is available.

I like a lot about the game, that's why I don't mind supporting it. But until they fix the god awful limit break situation we have, I have to stop spending on the game. As it stands, the gacha system of this game is one of the worst on the market, and gets worse with every alternate style SS they release.
They shouldn't bind limit breaks to styles, but to characters, just like levels. That's the very least they should do.

On another note, I got Yanagi from S tickets. My first SS from S tickets... took a while. Combines Tama and Shiki into one unit. Very nice. Second field healer is also never bad to have. Very interesting LB candidate too, though with the constant pressure of ALT SS coming, LBing a vanilla SS has way too many risks.
It's probably because their hairs and outfits are somewhat similar so they can just adjust the initial design. Even in this state Aoi and Misato look kinda wonky compared to Ruka. I wonder how long it'll take for them to perfect a Tama doll. Just thinking about that hair is nightmarish

Isn't sparking only reliable for banners with new units on them? Anyway even if there was a banner where it was possible to spark her than it still would be a waste of 200 rolls (unless you get her early) since her limit breaks provide almost zero value in my experience. Better to just wait for that one broken attacker unit that you want to roll multiple times and can solo the entire game from here on out with a crit orb.
Given the rates you won't get a dupe anyways. With rates like this you'd expect to get a lot more rolls (and basically every gacha ever gives you that), but not HBR. Here we have double banner galore, where you wanted char has a fricking 0.75% chance of appearing, while getting about 25 banner rolls a month unless there's something out of the ordinary happening.
I've said this a lot, but this game is only alive because of Key. There's literally no reason to put up with this game if it weren't for that. And I'm still sad about that.
I'm satisfied with what it has to offer as a Key/yuri VN and treat it no differently from the likes of the yuri manga I'm keeping up with. I'd like if there was more to it than there currently is, but the game's found a way to exist and be enjoyed by people like me while still baiting whales into spending on keeping the game alive, so everything else I could get would be more of a cherry on top than anything.

How come there were people with psychic powers in their world even before Cancer appeared? And it's even something Narvy can replicate, so it's gotta be genetic. The level of technology in flashbacks seems to have been roughly the same as today with some super advanced exceptions like the Aegis tower.
I think this whole psychic thing will be a big plot point in the future, this whole "savior/messiah" sub-plot, megumi being attuned with the magic cancer, the mention of psychics making an organization to protect the Earth in the past, it all seems too important to be just some random lore stuff.
Speaking of plotlines that might become important later, are they gonna do something with the previous She is Legend members. For a 仲間思い type character, Ruka has been suspiciously quiet about them.

Weiss schwarz collab. Not a very big news, but very likely means that the anime(whenever it happens) won't be by aniplex, they're pushing their titles into build divide nowadays.
Her dive kick actually looked really cool. I'm not sure if it's camera trickery or they actually used squash and stretch animation but it was very smooth.
From what I can tell from the two sites, we're also getting a Tezuka rerun for SA, a new orb (light boss, def up ability), a new hard mode boss added to the rotation (Feeler, 3-14, apparently set to run this weekend) and some stuff pertaining to Silver Week, including the return of the 1.5x banner this weekend and a month-long prism campaign where you do missions that reward basic mats and diamonds. The 31B banner also seems to only include Aoi, Ichigo and Kozue at a 0.75 rate. New stream tomorrow as well.
If you feel you need options then possibly. Which SSes do you currently have and how far into 4.1 are you? The 1.5x banner runs from the 17th to the 26th, but the prism campaign starts a day earlier so that could help you catch up if a lack of materials and accessories is holding back the SSes you already have.
These are my SS. I'm afraid I didn't even manage to beat the first dungeon on day 2 when I tried a few days ago. Lack of materials for accessory crafting is probably the biggest issue right now, but I can barely manage to beat the gem prisms on level 9.
The prism campaign should help with that at least, particularly if you've been saving up the lifestones from the recent campaign. The only real major pain I can see is not having a useful debuffer, but the critbot compensates for that for the time being. Seeing as you don't have any elemental synergy and all of your SSes are LB0 apart from free Ruka who's literally just there to give your fire Ruka levels, I wouldn't put my eggs in one basket just yet, so in your place I'd give the 1.5x banner a go once it goes live in a couple of days.
How optimized are your current accessories in terms of stat unlocks, focusing on each character's most relevant stats and the like? It's a tough ask, but maybe there's room for improvement there, at least enough in conjunction with the prism campaign to get you further into chapter 4 before you really start feeling the need to get more options. I assume you have halfway decent boosters at least, costly as they might be if you're still new.

I've got all soul slots unlocked and try to focus on the stats recommended on game8's guide, but for the other accessories I'm still using what I come across (besides a fire ring and a few +1 bracelets with shit stats). For boosters and chips I'm using the best ones I can buy at this point.
Does the 1.5x rate banner have a spark at 60k, like an SSR ticket? Does it have all currently released chars or just a limited selection from them? I only have 46k saved up and it would feel bad to blow it all and not get that extra bonus at the end (or can you not grab an extra LB if you got them during their focus banner? Not sure how the pity system works really), but if it runs until the 26th maybe I could make it to 200 rolls in time. These are my current chars (welfare Ruka cut off, but she's maxed besides generalize). I haven't rolled at all since I started playing besides the start dash free rolls and SR tickets so I'm really low on LBs, everyone except Seira is LB0. While I'd like to wait for Miya I love a lot of other characters that I don't have too, and of course LBs for my current chars would be very welcome.

You can check when the banner releases, but it will generally have everything. It might not have the new SS (Shiki and Chiroru).
Given that it has weakness to all elements, its an excuse to do full max damage practically.

I very sorely underestimated the amount of medals you get from score attack. I only did 120k this time because I have no blunt DPS and in conjunction with doing 180k on the previous SA I am now 640 medals over what I need to clear. And I still have nothing to spend my life on until the campaign starts...
Rip Shiki SS. The other one seems at least okay. A blunt aoe multi-hit attacker... or well defender. But whatsoever. Requires LB1 more than anything else, but then it's decent I suppose. No S style for her is a BIG minus though.
Good thing I don't care about Shiki anymore. Still kinda sad. Why do some SS get so damn shafted. Basically a worse tama aoe and a weak as frick ulti with a gimmick buff most characters can't use. They could've made this at least the fricking dark zone.
I wonder if I will ever spend my quartz. I've never played a gacha where it feels this damn pointless to pull. Come to think of it, the last time I pulled with regular quartz was at the beginning of fricking june.
Yeah I'm very glad they're dipping their hand into this a little bit more. Still miffed that we got no news on 4.2, but if one of the reasons it's delayed is to better integrate full 3D portions into it then I can definitely put up with that.

I got the feeling they had an internal delay or something because the dev guy tried to move on from saying anything about it really fricking fast instead of doing any sort of empty teases or anything like that.
The current 3D movement is kinda janky. I think they're better off keeping 2D movement but making dungeons more like the base, with a 3D map with intersecting pathways.
The penalties for this score attack seems like it’ll be tough for low LB accounts to go above 120k. Week 1 the defence raising penalty means I can’t kill her quickly. Hopefully the blaster nerfs in week 2 aren’t too disruptive.
Light and dark crit boost for this week's hard mode, as well as no trash fights before the boss and therefore no opportunities to stack SP. Comfortably the hardest one yet, yet made significantly more lenient by the fact that every attack is a solo hit. I'm more weirded out by the fact that they're maintaining the difficulty progression for these bosses when they're supposed to rotate on a weekly basis.
I have no space for anything more than one debuff in my party so the most I can do is 3.6m with Sumomo, which prolongs the fight even more than not being able to grind SP and OD prefight does.

Do you remember what LB and defensive stats your parties were at? My characters are all LB0, maybe around level 100, and I can only get up to around 300 vit and spr. It deals ~2500 with the AOE, which is way too much for me to outheal continuously.
I think I only have LB1 adel and LB1 Aoi, but I have 6 1200 DP earrings to compensate my most LB0s. My 1st party uses old SS Tama for cheesing some revive orbs on party, and my 2nd party cheeses with Aoi.
They are intentionally making the orbs shitty. A lot of these would be useful with more uses and/or tweaked SP costs.
You can use more than one orb, they just aren't making it worth it. Make the drive orb have 3 or more charges. There's also supposed to be an SP transfer orb at some point that should be good.
The biggest joke is probably the "revive" orb. If you get broken you probably lose anyways, having that SP cost and pretty much no DP heal on top is probably never seeing any use.
I already consider vanilla Tama not having an ultimate and ditched her the moment I got Yanagi, who actually does have one.
I agree that the revive orb is useless, but I've not had any luck getting any meaningful use out of Yanagi ever since I got the crit orbs whereas strategic revives with Tama have opened the door to 180k in each of the last 3 SAs for me, including 200k for the one that just ended.

There's so many improvements planned from the latest stream. Improved auto, improved home screen, improved arena vs prism battle balance, improved event replay screen. Only thing I want now is improved accessory/booster chip management

Yes. An orb is guaranteed the first time you beat a level. Only the bracers have a chance to drop, but I'm not sure if it's guaranteed on the first one. I could swear there was one time I beat a level 2 for the first time and didn't get one.
Okay, then my plan is ready. I doubt it'll work out, but if it does, I will throw a spark at the rate up banner.. if it's still there at the end of next week.
All I really need is another crit orb, then I'd really not need Seira. But 250k HP and 52.5k DP is probably way too much to deal with without any good water SS. (aka not lb0 bungo with super low offensive stats even for a lb0. She's def oriented) I'll see. I need some fire res accs first anyways.
Gave the rate up another go and got a Swimomo dupe after her regular dupe earlier. At least now they both get the extra SP per turn, but is there even a reason to use the original after generizing her ultimate?
They're both at LB1 now, so I'll just stick with the swimsuit as default. It didn't even raise their level cap because all the S Sumomo dupes already got it to 102. After all their upgrades, base Sumomo is more geared towards DP damage and Swimomo towards HP damage with a bit more defense.

Did they change how Bungo works? I took my lb0 Bungo with me for fun against the fire accessory boss (gotta beat it 10 times). She hit 10 out of 11 fricking ults. Lvl 12 boss, too. If she didn't miss once, I would've thought she is bugged or something.
Now I'm almost considering taking her vs the fire orb boss. Unfortunately lb0 with no 110 lvl cap isn't working. I don't think I can get her to be tanky enough vs. the lvl 2 and 3 versions.
I wish. Mine is LB2 with perfect stats and she missed about a third of the time on the yellow prism last week.
You still can bring her to the fire orb boss if you have 3 others who can tank the regular stuff. RNG will always be a factor, it's just a question of how much you're willing to restart because you're not punished in any way except through losing time if you have to retry a fight.
I can't. I'm in reset hell fishing for enough crits already. My front-row can survive a punch, but double punch is too much. The wave I cheese with vanilla tama + Tsukasa S and Yanagi to heal + crit buff the front.
No space for bungo. My second attempt already almost won, but I had too little luck on crits and ran out of moves. Had 10% hp left, so it is definitely doable. Never thought I'd make use out of the Tama res. Sucks that my 2 Lb chars have 2 turns they can't move after an ult. They are old styles that got little love.
Is this your first time trying one of the higher levels for the orb boss? I'd power through it if so - even if you only get one, the higher level bracer you get from the first win does make a huge difference in your ability to redo the fight without going insane.
Yeah, first time. And my third attempt won. It was very messy, but the result counts.
I tried to last till 3 OD, just to realize Tama lacks SP to actually heal through the third wave. 1 whole SP. So I had to block the wave with the others. Luckily for whatever reason lb0 Yanagi survived the second wave, and no she doesn't have the first one's fire resist acc. That one is worn by lb1 Karen, who didn't survive a wave. No idea how that happened, but like that I could use her to tank the third wave, and had one char left alive.
During od3 I pulled them all up with Tama and in the end.. somehow won.
It really turns out the Yanagi I got from S tickets recently is a massive game changer for me. Didn't even need to grind lvl 1 for accs. But lvl 2 I probably will, at least for the front-row. Should be a lot more consistent with a second crit orb and a new fire rest acc.
I use my LB2 Bungo in basically any team that doesn't give disadvantage to pierce types. She's almost my tankiest unit just thanks to her level, a staple against the fire orb boss and farms XP for low level units against prism bosses. It's annoying when she misses, especially when it happens more than once in a row, but most of the fights in this game don't cost anything if you lose. And if I do go into a fight that costs materials or energy upfront, then she's rarely the only one who can fulfill her function.

I've had no issues so far either, but the people I'm hearing complain about it seem to first be getting the error when hopping onto the Steam version, and once they get it it affects them on mobile too. I only play on steam and just got 403'd. Since it use 403 so i assume it's the "access forbidden" kinda error so i tried using mobile connection via tethering and it works. My home internet use dynamic IP so probably i pulled one of the blacklisted IP during a reset. On other JP game that i play i sometime get kicked when loading a match for being 'overcrowded' even though there's only 4 people in the room out of 30 max capacity. Tsukuba server on vpngate also won't let me connect when i pulled a blacklisted IP. Third world country problem.
What is a quartz spark?
A spark is what people seem to call the bonus you get if you spend enough quartz on one banner. Here it's 200 rolls, so 60k quartz. I don't know where the name comes from since I've never heard it in the previous gacha I played.
I'm not sure which game it comes from either, I just use it because others do. To my knowledge HBR has no official term for it.
Granblue, the father of this mechanic. The points there are called sparks, thus sparking became the term that's generally used everywhere in gacha.
Alternatively you can also say pity, but pity can also refer to guarantees after X draws, while sparking generally refers to getting the banner target, if there is one.
I usually say ceiling, but yeah, most people will say spark.

I see. Looking at your comp what you really need is a buffer (S Shiki, S Yuina or S chinese girl are preferrable, in that order) to buff when you can't damage Red Crimson. You can also just level up more with prism battles but in the long run it's highly recommended to have at least a buffer.

Buy the 3 vials to unlock S Ruka's skill. I suggest getting the limit break tokens, but if you want to unlock an old event asap sure go for edelweiss. There's a new event coming up, you can always get another one there.

Yeah, those two are the most important. You wouldn't get anything out of limit breaking the Ruka swimsuit S either if you're doing the missions for the free Ruka SS, but you should get the vials to get her unique skill. An edelweiss will let you unlock older events which each have another edelweiss.
If you can't beat the first event prism battle, you should probably focus on leveling and doing the story first to get access to better equipment. The yellow prism battle Needle Bird is a good place to farm XP early on because its shield-breaking attack actually does nothing if the unit it hits already lost her shield.

13 to my knowledge, but I'm fairly sure you need to complete chapter 2 to do this event, so most likely you're out of time. Don't bother skipping, events are permanent: you can unlock previous ones with an Edelweiss and most events so far have only had a chapter 1 completion requirement so you'll likely be able to get an Edelweiss from the next one.

Newbie who just beat FlatHand, I have only 1 million GP, buying these Chapter 4 boosters is going to be a huge pain in the ass. Which do you recommend getting first, the attack focused (type depending on attacker type) or all-around defense focused one? I'm thinking defense since my chars are mostly stuck at 90 and not dying is probably more important than pumping out more damage for an account like mine but I'm not sure
Grats. The 4.1 enemies are damage sponges for the most part so I'd recommend the former first, but if you don't have LB1s or S level boosted SSes (like having SS Adel or Kozue with their respective event S style maxed out) then it's a tougher call. What's your party looking like right now?

If 320 is the goal then I'm gonna need the defensive chips for my 90s for sure
320 is the highest border so far, and damage increases way too fast past that. You don't need that for regular enemies, as those probably won't be at 320, but there will be bosses like that.
To get a feel for that, you can try any level 10-12 prism battle. 10 has a slight damage nerf, 11 is neutral and 12 increases damage. To give an idea with the current ch3, the last boss is supposedly at 260. While chapter 4.1 doesn't go to 320, it has tons of bonus damage, so in a way it's nothing difference defense-wise, but it'll be a little easier to damage.
You want 320 def average. Ideally not too different on the stats. (aka not 350 290) Being relatively close to that is fine, but even just 10 points less I'd not recommend.
Based on that you can choose. For most this means def oriented booster, chips and so on. But if you can be at or even above 320 without that, no need for more. That's probably only for lb2+ SS styles though.

You could try grinding the israeliteel prism bosses. At +4 they provide better stats than 5 star accessaries. Probably better than going through the dungeon for the rings.
The elemental ring dungeons give you those drops though. And you'll be going through a lot of them to get useful bonus stats on each slot.
Sure, but with enough defense you can auto through the dungeon. You will need to do everything eventually anyway. The arena bosses also drop those nuts at higher difficulties too.

Maybe you already have all units max level and all skills leveled to max on possibly useful units as well. I don't play that long though.
I didn't make teams specifically for elemental dungeons. At most I pick more AoE skills before I start one. This team can comfortably run the thunder and water ring dungeons on auto except for the bosses where it would waste too much energy. And it could already do that when only the rings existed as 6* accessories. You just gotta restrict auto mode to only use healing and AoE skills.
There's "wasting" life and wasting your own time as well. Not the other guy, but at this point I find running dungeons too mind numbing to do manually. So if I need to farm a +4 ring, I do it on auto from start through the 2 bosses. I won't get every single reroll stone but that's not the end of the world.
If I want to level characters, arena and prism are fine for that.
If I want to level skills, I'll do shuttle run.
The grinding stuff isn't fun to do, so do it all on auto.
I'm not either of them, but to me autoing for longer is a bigger waste of time than 1-turning everything manually if you're in a position where manual control makes a difference. It's a matter of perspective since due to the nature of the game I'd much rather spend less time playing actively than spending a little more time doing almost nothing.
Right now that only means prisms when doing a lot of them en masse with tickets and/or life, though, because for dungeons you can comfortably 1-turn everything except the bosses on auto with an AOE lineup which makes the comparison moot.
I just watch anime when doing it. Pretty chill.

Weekly rate is 990 quartz. If the event is the same as the last one, then we get:
1500 from the event store
300 (assuming 3 weeks) from score attack
790 from getting event medals
So with the September event only, it would take 7 weeks. That would obviously push into October, which brings in another batch of event quartz. Which then reduces it to just under 5 weeks, or before October.
So basically, as soon as I can cash in on the October event I'll get 60k.

No, the current event is just different from the previous ones, they shuffled some stuff around a bit.
This event is the first one where they combined it with the score attack and mixed up the rewards between the shop and score milestones.
What are the orb skills after the first? Don't really feel like doing the orb bosses, but if the skills are decent I may as well grab the orb so I can use the skill on one character. Frick grinding out the mastery though.

After finally being done with all the event grind mandatory stuff, including archived events (to my surprise event 1 only had 5 S coins, instead of 15, so I collected more medals than I even needed... luckily I realized it before getting all), I could finally look at some of the endgame stuff again.
So with the new boosters, I got past the fire orb boss. Even comfy enough that if I ever get a field remover, the other 2 will only be a matter of getting the accessories from the boss. Without that however, double damage from the second one compared to the first on (including the 25% damage mitigation vs. the second one) is too much.
I also started doing some hail horses. Again with the new booster even tier 12 is quite doable. Though you really need either lb1, or higher cap through event S or similar.
I still hope the LB system gets reworked. Like I do have Ichigo which is normally useful against hail horses, but she's level 91 lb 0. Unusable. This should effect most players and is honestly just a big negative right now. The "upgrade bar" we have now makes me hopeful. This system could be redesigned into a solution for this. As in, they could make it you could freely distribute this bar, and reset that when you want. Add to that replacing all generic SS coins with that bar's %. 1 SS coin = 10%. The way it is right now, people sit on their golden coins anyways, and that bar won't be different.

It's been days but i still get this p403 error on my home internet connection no matter how many times i restart the router and getting different IP. Feels like someone ddos'd the server or server related to wfs using my country IP and then wfs decided to just range ban the IP instead of deploying proper counter measure like most games. Ok, rather than "can't" I'll say it's exceedingly unlikely. The reason being that the type is tied to their weapon, and their skills are tied to that as well. So if she got a blunt weapon and ult, then she would be unable to use her slash A skill. If they ever do it, it'll probably be much later in the game on an alt. Definitely not for their uniform "standard" SS.
My world is perfect when Hisame gets slash skills. Absolutely perfect. Especially if it's still not with a sword.

Individual banners don't change over time, but you get ones with certain units having higher rates than others. I've never paid attention to the overall SS/S/A breakdown, so I don't know if that's ever different.
A few weeks ago there was a banner where the SS characters appeared at a 4.5% rate instead of 3% rate. I think it was to commemorate the half anniversary.

Carol and Irene having ultimates that can be used as long as you have positive SP can lead to interesting design possibilities in future. S Irene has a skill that increases a character’s SP to 3 exactly, which means that Carol could have really good burst if it works how I imagine.
They also added story warnings for going to the arena. If that's not a bug, I don't even. I mean yeah, sure, technically it makes no sense that certain characters participate in a chapter 4 arena, I get it. But come on. Pretty sure arena didn't have warnings for a reason.

I'm still on day 2 and so far it's easily one of my top 3. A fantastic comedic breather.
Not my least favorite, but bottom half for sure. The best thing about this event was all the little things they picked up from the character bond events. But that's about that. I suppose there's also where the event stands if you consider ch4, but that didn't really matter for the event itself.
Not looking forward to the billions of prism battles though. May even skip the event S as she feels utterly useless.
Event S is good at cheezing arena, if you need help there. Otherwise she has a nice defender skill on a debuffer.
The "defender" thing is way too expensive and because it's a debuff, it means min values are going to be used.
Atk debuffs also suffer from it like that. It's pretty pointless. Filling an entire character slot with that seems silly.
In the arena you are also much better with quick burst than some kinda weird slow defensive play. Even if you are relatively new I feel like grinding some archive event would make more sense, as some of those event S actually have reasonably helpful things they can offer. (OD charge, Enhance, disable)
Oh I completely missed that her skill is single target and not AoE. I was thinking that you could use a 5k blunt attack turn 1 (because of the negative SP), nothing to do with the defense. Anyway, I'll probably unlock the S but not her pieces.

Maki is pretty much a character designed to interact with Megumi, going from her 1st character story to 2nd Ruka-only story was like going from comedy gold to a random filler.

Liked it more than the first 3. Mixed events are always a blessing. I liked Maria in this one and it's nice to see how Ichigo mellowed out compared to how she was in chapter 2. Carol's way of talking won't be changing anytime soon so my opinion of her remains so-so.

You don't really need to raise the bar, it only makes the equipped character gets it permanently. Just try to clear Lvl 12 so that you have 3 crit orbs to equip.

Dude that fight took me like 25 turns. Not everyone has Seira and overpowered SS with multiple limit breaks.
Some people here seem to either spend a lot or are just blessed with a lot of good RNG. Not everyone is like that though. While the lvl 1 orb boss got a lot better, lvl 2 is still doing double the damage, with the lvl 1 accs.
this guy doesn't even have any overpowered LB and Seira, and even remove some of his accessories. You just need to survive 1st attack and thats it.
My only field ability is Higumin's and that obviously is no good for the thunder orb boss. Aoi completely trivialized the level 3 fight.

Mari, tsukasa etc. Basically the battle starts with a fire field wich gives the boss extra damage. You can override it with a field of your own to change the field element away from fire.
You'd need to be absurdly overpowered to be able to do that. At that point you can do everything easily.
Well, I really am not using one. Replace Yuina with the normal Tsukasa here
and you have my crit orb team. At least I never use her skill that creates a field and it would be fire anyway. Tama's DP restoration lets the team last long enough while Bungo and Swimomo deal the damage. The only time it fails is when the boss targets Tama directly because then she dies immediately even at full DP.

Not sure if it was mentioned anywhere, but the event store page suggests we're getting 2 score attacks this month, both giving medals for the current event. Interesting way to fix the glaring problem with the previous event.
Considering score attack is the only good non-story content in the game, I welcome more of it.

How I wish this wasn't true. I couldn't care less about bragging so score attack does almost nothing for me, but that's still more than the different flavors of mindless grinding we have right now. I want more bond events and minigames with no rewards besides fun like the LitBus baseball game.
It's not fixed. Score attack doesn't seem to be in the archive at all, so the entire reason to change the events so future players can still get score attack rewards is still not even remotely working.
We also still only get 50 coins max per fight missing the average +~20 from S dungeons. So if you can't do 91+35, you are still very much fricked.
It was to be expected though. I said this before, but even if they are aware of issues, it takes them multiple small steps before it gets to be solved. We'll get an LB situation change in a couple of months again as well, I'm pretty sure. Maybe in a year from now the game is finally working well. Maybe.
Luckily the current event S is crappy enough that you can postpone getting her. If she ever has a wortwhile SS that you get, you can still farm it later.

Correct, the caveat being dropping my only high LB DPS for Aoi and being left with low LBs, Aoi herself included. A fight being easy because you have the perfect DPS setup is one thing, but a fight being faceroll tier to the point of accidentally winning it when you don't know what you're doing because Aoi's ult is cheap in every sense of the word is quite another.
They have really weird ideas for some concepts. In the context of this game her skill is essentially a guaranteed hyper stun and it costs 10 SP, meanwhile Megumi's SS normal "well maybe it will stun for a turn if the rng procs" stun skill is also 10 SP somehow because the stuns are not balanced in their head, so every stun skill have to be pre-nerfed.
Aoi needs to be in the frontline for two turns though right? That's a huge restriction

To be honest, Ichiko and Aoi kinda broke the state of the game. You can kill anything that is not fire resist easily with current fire team or cheese any content with Aoi. It's ridiculous that both Ichiko and Aoi are OP yet Sugayan becomes essentially blunt version of Adelheid.
As I said earlier, Aoi skill is basically the reason all Megumi stuns were pre-nerfed on release to the point of them basically being too SP inefficient and not reliable enough to use over the normal debuff skills. The devs were too afraid that the ability to reliably make your enemies to do nothing when you want would be too broken, so they nerfed it to the ground. I don't know why didn't they do the same thing for Aoi too if they care so much about it, they either forgot or intentionally did it for cash money.
Had to try 3 times to beat Rotary Mole.
First try I reached him with 0 stamina.
Second try I forgot you only had to take out his DP in the first phase, so I entered the second phase with my resources spent.
Third try I killed him, but it still took ages. The fire crit boost meant it’d be more cost efficient for Ruka to use her 8SP AOE instead of her welfare SS ulti, but it took me too long to realize that.
In my case Bungo missed every single ult and my other DPS weren't strong enough to reliably finish it off, so I had to stall with Tama.

Yes once you get to the minigame if i recall correctly.
I like how if you don't want to renew the pass for next month, you can still claim the new rewards as soon as the monthly missions refresh.
So the best time to buy a pass for just 1 month, but still claim almost double the rewards would be like around the 16th-18th so you can get twice the login rewards.
But you get double the rewards if you renew the pass in consecutive months, so you end up with the same efficiency per money spent, just over a longer period of time.
I think the best time to buy a pass if you have no intention of renewing is in the middle of the month.
But if you want to renew, it would be at the start of the month? or maybe the day right before the next month. Because I wonder when the doubling happens. If it happens in concurrence with the monthly reset then you would want to buy it right before the reset to get the most value (for the first time)
But thinking about it again, it might still be better at the middle for when you want to stop one day.
From what I can understand from the in-game help, the way the doubling works is that when you let your subscription renew automatically, the rewards for next month's monthly missions are doubled.
So the optimal time to buy a pass is past the 24th of any month so you get an "extra" month.
In terms of pure value for money, buying a pass every other month after the 24th and collecting the rewards for two months is the best.
The value for money for a continued subscription is a tiny bit lower due to the initial months without the reward doubling, but it evens out to the same over time.
The best value is to sign up for both passes and then cancel them immediately

Their ults have the same numbers and scaling, unless you're talking about base Yuki. Only difference is how the damage is distributed among hits.

maybe it's stockholm syndrome, but I kind of like how buffers and debuffers are mandatory in this game. you actually NEED to have all of the roles working together in a team to beat things.
Usually in RPGs these roles are useless or situational.

I think the fact that your heals and ultimates are limited contributes to how important buffers and debuffers are. You can’t just out-tank the boss over 50 turns, you have to make sure your limited attacks hit really hard.
So far I find most of the tank styles quite useless (don’t have SSR Aoi). I’m also reluctant to use status effects because of how unreliable they are, considering how expensive they are to cast.
Honestly the pass doesn't offer that much quartz value since 3k for 2900yen is only ~275 more quartz than what you can buy just raw. Keep in mind pass quartz is not counted as paid either. You're also losing out on the first month and it'll take ~6 months to make up for it. So you're only earning more quartz half a year in.
The x10 roll per month and random SS per 3 months don't feel worth it either. Remember that these two don't get doubled

It's not insane value, but it is more value. You're discounting the non-quartz rewards too much.
The average value of an SS is 33 rolls, so the SS ticket fragment is worth 11 rolls. Added with the other tickets you get 22 rolls which is worth 6600 quartz, giving you 2.79 quartz per yen without the doubling and 3.31 quartz per yen with the doubling. That's significantly more than the 1.5 quartz per yen from sales and the base 1 quartz per yen.
And that's not counting the SS pieces, which are harder to value. Let's say 10 pieces is the same worth as an SS dupe for the first two LBs, then using the 33 rolls value of an SS, you're getting an additional 0.68 quartz per yen for the first month and double for later months.
Paid quartz isn't worth that much in this game. Once you've bought enough to pull on all the paid banners, it's the same as free quartz. Even a minnow could reach that level.

My bad, it's not confusion but a bind skill. He can cast laser bind on turn 1, but the effect isn't guaranteed even if he casts it. It's not a big deal but if you full auto then characters moves to the backrow if the get binded. I use Shiki so it fricks up my SP generation if she gets caught.

Seem fine to me, though I think the welfare Ruka would be a better healer than S Yanagi since she has better stats. Also you probably want to have a SS blaster and buffer down the line so try to roll for them if you can.
It's so-so. megumi and yuki are midtier. Missing seira is a big loss. You also want either SS Aoi, SS Yanagi or S Tama for the sustain.
What's the best stats for craftable equipment, and how is it related to the +N? I have some bracelet with better stats than a higher +N.
For +6 Bracelets, it's +%200 Normal Attack buff and +45 Spirit and Defense.
For +6 Earrings, +%15 Skill Buff(DP, HP, DR%, OD), +1200 DP, and +48 Int.
Anything less than the above drops the +N. If Seraph.day is accurate, the +N is dependent on the following range of stats the accessory has.
For Bracelets:
Normal Attack buff: +%100 is +0, +%150 is +1, +%200 is +2.
Spirit and Defense (counted independently): +29~32 is +0, +34~40 is +1, and +45 is +2.
For Earrings:
Skill Buffs: +%10 is +0, +%12 is +1, +%15 is +2.

Aoi's ult is basically her scene from the story. The taunt lasts 3 turns but the shield only lasts 2 hits. So if you keep her in the frontline for 3 turns she's pretty much guaranteed to die on the last turn if she eats an entire full party attack at 3x damage. I've had her die on me a couple of times now.

I’ve never done any of those because I’m focusing on the story, and there aren’t any reminders for them in the home screen. The only rewards are some player experience and 200 quartz each, right?
You also get GP and the dungeons themselves have goodies like up to date boosters and gems. It's decent for players that are progressing through the story and lack funds. But yeah if you've already beaten the story than it's just for the quartz and completionism autism.
Does it tell you anywhere if you've done them already? I could swear I've done at least some of the early ones, but when I talk to Asami on those days, there's no indication of that.
Both on this screen and when you select the mission. Most of the quests require two visits so you might have just done the first visit. You first fully explore the dungeon and then at a later day Asami calls you that the boss is available.

I like a lot about the game, that's why I don't mind supporting it. But until they fix the god awful limit break situation we have, I have to stop spending on the game. As it stands, the gacha system of this game is one of the worst on the market, and gets worse with every alternate style SS they release.
They shouldn't bind limit breaks to styles, but to characters, just like levels. That's the very least they should do.

Isn't sparking only reliable for banners with new units on them? Anyway even if there was a banner where it was possible to spark her than it still would be a waste of 200 rolls (unless you get her early) since her limit breaks provide almost zero value in my experience. Better to just wait for that one broken attacker unit that you want to roll multiple times and can solo the entire game from here on out with a crit orb.
Given the rates you won't get a dupe anyways. With rates like this you'd expect to get a lot more rolls (and basically every gacha ever gives you that), but not HBR. Here we have double banner galore, where you wanted char has a fricking 0.75% chance of appearing, while getting about 25 banner rolls a month unless there's something out of the ordinary happening.
I've said this a lot, but this game is only alive because of Key. There's literally no reason to put up with this game if it weren't for that. And I'm still sad about that.
I'm satisfied with what it has to offer as a Key/yuri VN and treat it no differently from the likes of the yuri manga I'm keeping up with. I'd like if there was more to it than there currently is, but the game's found a way to exist and be enjoyed by people like me while still baiting whales into spending on keeping the game alive, so everything else I could get would be more of a cherry on top than anything.

How come there were people with psychic powers in their world even before Cancer appeared? And it's even something Narvy can replicate, so it's gotta be genetic. The level of technology in flashbacks seems to have been roughly the same as today with some super advanced exceptions like the Aegis tower.
I think this whole psychic thing will be a big plot point in the future, this whole "savior/messiah" sub-plot, megumi being attuned with the magic cancer, the mention of psychics making an organization to protect the Earth in the past, it all seems too important to be just some random lore stuff.
Speaking of plotlines that might become important later, are they gonna do something with the previous She is Legend members. For a 仲間思い type character, Ruka has been suspiciously quiet about them.

From what I can tell from the two sites, we're also getting a Tezuka rerun for SA, a new orb (light boss, def up ability), a new hard mode boss added to the rotation (Feeler, 3-14, apparently set to run this weekend) and some stuff pertaining to Silver Week, including the return of the 1.5x banner this weekend and a month-long prism campaign where you do missions that reward basic mats and diamonds. The 31B banner also seems to only include Aoi, Ichigo and Kozue at a 0.75 rate. New stream tomorrow as well.

The 1.5x banner runs from the 17th to the 26th, but the prism campaign starts a day earlier so that could help you catch up if a lack of materials and accessories is holding back the SSes you already have.
These are my SS. I'm afraid I didn't even manage to beat the first dungeon on day 2 when I tried a few days ago. Lack of materials for accessory crafting is probably the biggest issue right now, but I can barely manage to beat the gem prisms on level 9.
The prism campaign should help with that at least, particularly if you've been saving up the lifestones from the recent campaign. The only real major pain I can see is not having a useful debuffer, but the critbot compensates for that for the time being. Seeing as you don't have any elemental synergy and all of your SSes are LB0 apart from free Ruka who's literally just there to give your fire Ruka levels, I wouldn't put my eggs in one basket just yet, so in your place I'd give the 1.5x banner a go once it goes live in a couple of days.
How optimized are your current accessories in terms of stat unlocks, focusing on each character's most relevant stats and the like? It's a tough ask, but maybe there's room for improvement there, at least enough in conjunction with the prism campaign to get you further into chapter 4 before you really start feeling the need to get more options. I assume you have halfway decent boosters at least, costly as they might be if you're still new.

I've got all soul slots unlocked and try to focus on the stats recommended on game8's guide, but for the other accessories I'm still using what I come across (besides a fire ring and a few +1 bracelets with shit stats). For boosters and chips I'm using the best ones I can buy at this point.
Does the 1.5x rate banner have a spark at 60k, like an SSR ticket? Does it have all currently released chars or just a limited selection from them? I only have 46k saved up and it would feel bad to blow it all and not get that extra bonus at the end (or can you not grab an extra LB if you got them during their focus banner? Not sure how the pity system works really), but if it runs until the 26th maybe I could make it to 200 rolls in time. These are my current chars (welfare Ruka cut off, but she's maxed besides generalize). I haven't rolled at all since I started playing besides the start dash free rolls and SR tickets so I'm really low on LBs, everyone except Seira is LB0. While I'd like to wait for Miya I love a lot of other characters that I don't have too, and of course LBs for my current chars would be very welcome.

Yes, you get a random SS.

You can check when the banner releases, but it will generally have everything. It might not have the new SS (Shiki and Chiroru).

I very sorely underestimated the amount of medals you get from score attack. I only did 120k this time because I have no blunt DPS and in conjunction with doing 180k on the previous SA I am now 640 medals over what I need to clear. And I still have nothing to spend my life on until the campaign starts...

Rip Shiki SS. The other one seems at least okay. A blunt aoe multi-hit attacker... or well defender. But whatsoever. Requires LB1 more than anything else, but then it's decent I suppose. No S style for her is a BIG minus though.
Good thing I don't care about Shiki anymore. Still kinda sad. Why do some SS get so damn shafted. Basically a worse tama aoe and a weak as frick ulti with a gimmick buff most characters can't use. They could've made this at least the fricking dark zone.
I wonder if I will ever spend my quartz. I've never played a gacha where it feels this damn pointless to pull. Come to think of it, the last time I pulled with regular quartz was at the beginning of fricking june.
Dark field is reserved for her. Shiki will be good for future dark comps but at the moment there aren't any good units aside from Maruyama.

Yeah I'm very glad they're dipping their hand into this a little bit more. Still miffed that we got no news on 4.2, but if one of the reasons it's delayed is to better integrate full 3D portions into it then I can definitely put up with that.

The current 3D movement is kinda janky. I think they're better off keeping 2D movement but making dungeons more like the base, with a 3D map with intersecting pathways.
The penalties for this score attack seems like it’ll be tough for low LB accounts to go above 120k. Week 1 the defence raising penalty means I can’t kill her quickly. Hopefully the blaster nerfs in week 2 aren’t too disruptive.

Light and dark crit boost for this week's hard mode, as well as no trash fights before the boss and therefore no opportunities to stack SP. Comfortably the hardest one yet, yet made significantly more lenient by the fact that every attack is a solo hit. I'm more weirded out by the fact that they're maintaining the difficulty progression for these bosses when they're supposed to rotate on a weekly basis.
It's actually far easier compared to red crimson for me, maybe because you don't have to build party for clearing dungeon this time.

I have no space for anything more than one debuff in my party so the most I can do is 3.6m with Sumomo, which prolongs the fight even more than not being able to grind SP and OD prefight does.
Do you remember what LB and defensive stats your parties were at? My characters are all LB0, maybe around level 100, and I can only get up to around 300 vit and spr. It deals ~2500 with the AOE, which is way too much for me to outheal continuously.
I think I only have LB1 adel and LB1 Aoi, but I have 6 1200 DP earrings to compensate my most LB0s. My 1st party uses old SS Tama for cheesing some revive orbs on party, and my 2nd party cheeses with Aoi.

They blew their load really fricking early with the orbs in general. Nothing's come even close to matching the power of the crit orb.
They needed to make the game playable without seira. I think the drive orb is better if you do have seira though.
The lack of charges hurts it greatly though. It's been doing some work for me on big downtime turns, but not enough to compare.
Nah, I haven't used Seira in months. Crit Orb + Yanagi is all I need for endgame stuff. Freeing up a party slot is just outright better.
They are intentionally making the orbs shitty. A lot of these would be useful with more uses and/or tweaked SP costs.
You can use more than one orb, they just aren't making it worth it. Make the drive orb have 3 or more charges. There's also supposed to be an SP transfer orb at some point that should be good.
The biggest joke is probably the "revive" orb. If you get broken you probably lose anyways, having that SP cost and pretty much no DP heal on top is probably never seeing any use.
I already consider vanilla Tama not having an ultimate and ditched her the moment I got Yanagi, who actually does have one.
I agree that the revive orb is useless, but I've not had any luck getting any meaningful use out of Yanagi ever since I got the crit orbs whereas strategic revives with Tama have opened the door to 180k in each of the last 3 SAs for me, including 200k for the one that just ended.
Why is Yuki the only sprite I can't get to work in the viewer?
Huh, hers is also the only one that doesn't work for me. Something from the latest update to the sprite tool must've broken things. Far as I can tell, Yuki seems to be the only one with no mouth options. I tried switching to another character, setting basic options for everything and then switching back to Yuki, but to no avail since that clears the mouth option which I think is what breaks it again.
Because I messed up something and replaced her mouth options with cheeks and glasses. I'll work on fixing it

There's so many improvements planned from the latest stream. Improved auto, improved home screen, improved arena vs prism battle balance, improved event replay screen. Only thing I want now is improved accessory/booster chip management

I've used around half of my saved up quartz on the rate up. After 70 rolls I got a base Sumomo dupe, one old and two new Yuki SS. Any experience on which Yuki is better?
Yes. An orb is guaranteed the first time you beat a level. Only the bracers have a chance to drop, but I'm not sure if it's guaranteed on the first one. I could swear there was one time I beat a level 2 for the first time and didn't get one.
Okay, then my plan is ready. I doubt it'll work out, but if it does, I will throw a spark at the rate up banner.. if it's still there at the end of next week.
All I really need is another crit orb, then I'd really not need Seira. But 250k HP and 52.5k DP is probably way too much to deal with without any good water SS. (aka not lb0 bungo with super low offensive stats even for a lb0. She's def oriented) I'll see. I need some fire res accs first anyways.

Gave the rate up another go and got a Swimomo dupe after her regular dupe earlier. At least now they both get the extra SP per turn, but is there even a reason to use the original after generizing her ultimate?
Only if the original is a higher LB. I also forgot if her SS2 has a better stat spread than the original, but I'm fairly sure it does.
They're both at LB1 now, so I'll just stick with the swimsuit as default. It didn't even raise their level cap because all the S Sumomo dupes already got it to 102. After all their upgrades, base Sumomo is more geared towards DP damage and Swimomo towards HP damage with a bit more defense.

The end of July. Which shop do you mean? Every event has its own shop and Mari's shop changes with the main story.

No refreshing. Unlocking basically just lets you do the event and its prism and buy the store stuff past the regular end date.

Did they change how Bungo works? I took my lb0 Bungo with me for fun against the fire accessory boss (gotta beat it 10 times). She hit 10 out of 11 fricking ults. Lvl 12 boss, too. If she didn't miss once, I would've thought she is bugged or something.
Now I'm almost considering taking her vs the fire orb boss. Unfortunately lb0 with no 110 lvl cap isn't working. I don't think I can get her to be tanky enough vs. the lvl 2 and 3 versions.
I wish. Mine is LB2 with perfect stats and she missed about a third of the time on the yellow prism last week.
You still can bring her to the fire orb boss if you have 3 others who can tank the regular stuff. RNG will always be a factor, it's just a question of how much you're willing to restart because you're not punished in any way except through losing time if you have to retry a fight.
I can't. I'm in reset hell fishing for enough crits already. My front-row can survive a punch, but double punch is too much. The wave I cheese with vanilla tama + Tsukasa S and Yanagi to heal + crit buff the front.
No space for bungo. My second attempt already almost won, but I had too little luck on crits and ran out of moves. Had 10% hp left, so it is definitely doable. Never thought I'd make use out of the Tama res. Sucks that my 2 Lb chars have 2 turns they can't move after an ult. They are old styles that got little love.
Is this your first time trying one of the higher levels for the orb boss? I'd power through it if so - even if you only get one, the higher level bracer you get from the first win does make a huge difference in your ability to redo the fight without going insane.
Yeah, first time. And my third attempt won. It was very messy, but the result counts.
I tried to last till 3 OD, just to realize Tama lacks SP to actually heal through the third wave. 1 whole SP. So I had to block the wave with the others. Luckily for whatever reason lb0 Yanagi survived the second wave, and no she doesn't have the first one's fire resist acc. That one is worn by lb1 Karen, who didn't survive a wave. No idea how that happened, but like that I could use her to tank the third wave, and had one char left alive.
During od3 I pulled them all up with Tama and in the end.. somehow won.
It really turns out the Yanagi I got from S tickets recently is a massive game changer for me. Didn't even need to grind lvl 1 for accs. But lvl 2 I probably will, at least for the front-row. Should be a lot more consistent with a second crit orb and a new fire rest acc.

I use my LB2 Bungo in basically any team that doesn't give disadvantage to pierce types. She's almost my tankiest unit just thanks to her level, a staple against the fire orb boss and farms XP for low level units against prism bosses. It's annoying when she misses, especially when it happens more than once in a row, but most of the fights in this game don't cost anything if you lose. And if I do go into a fight that costs materials or energy upfront, then she's rarely the only one who can fulfill her function.
