Imagine still playing FOTMsloppers 2. The campaign is scripted, the missions are boring, the weapons are underwhelming, the community is toxic, the developers are incompetent, the engine is discontinued, the content is dripfed. 1 week until everyone moves on and this game is played by 0 people.
Ain't FOTMslop, though I do fear that that combination of developer attitude, passing honeymoon period, weird toxic positivity, and general growing repetitiveness will guarantee that the game won't live longer than a year.
This is what will happen at the rate things are going, there aren't many viable weapons in the game and they keep nerfing, the new warbond is almost pointless.
There is too much enemy armor variety and flying ships now so the only thing that works is the autocannon.
If you bring anything else you can't play unless you go stealth which is next to impossible with many players, specially randos.
The game is a horde shooter that penalises you for shooting, people will grow tired of it quickly unless some drastic re-balance is brought forward.

Reminder that the Punisher is the supreme TKing device. Even light hits at range will stagger and knock down other players 100% of the time, and being a shotgun it's easier to hit your target, which can make all the difference if your target knows you're coming.
I once read that it was because the PS5 version has a different server tickrate and it endmaking some weapons hit the same bodypart multiple times. No idea how truth that is.
The bug wasn't the PS5 players doing more damage, the bug was that if a PS5 player hosted, everyone else would do more damage if they were on PC. This is how the Railgun was so broken and up until now it could still two shot Bile Titans with that bug, and now that its finally fixed it can't kill anything anymore and it takes 13 shots to down Bile Titans and Chargers are back to being immune to it.
DoT fix is happening but they are overhauling systems to do it and the same team making content is also bug fixing so calling it a glacial pace is being kind.
I mean, at least every other multiplayer shooter in existence would at least acknowledge such critical bugs within a week of them being mass reported.

It is shit, safe mode is completely useless after the nerf and unsafe mode only kills if it's overcharged as far as it goes before you blow up. I don't know why the damage doesn't scale linearly with charge.
There was no reason to take it after the nerf, but now the Quasar exists to add insult to injury. The QC needs to charge up just like the Railgun but it actually kills things, has infinite ammo, and doesn't have the risk of exploding. The Railgun is so bad it may as well be a primary.

This is getting ridiculous, this game doesn't know whether it wants to be:
a) A horde shooter
b) A stealth shooter
c) A tactic shooter
Fricking devs decide, if you're going for endless hordes of undefeatable enemies give us weapons that work and more rounds per magazine, or an extra stratagem slot, or more stratagem bombs more frequently, often I run out of the map so I can run around enemies while the super destroyer fires constantly the missiles it can't fire when I'm playing the game normally.
1 or 2 more stratagem slots and buffs to main weapons.
Lasgun being an ineffictive joke is a neat gimmick the first few times but it gets old so fast not having anything to take down high tier units that the game spams out of its ass.
I'd like to see them do a lot more ship/strategem upgrades so that even the strategems we already have can just be upgraded to deal with this stuff.
Like another expansion bay so airstrikes are even bigger for the bigger hordes, I keep thinking they should have something like an airburst upgrade to make each individual bomb have more power and bigger area of effect, some upgrades to the orbital laser to make the beam itself bigger, do more damage, last longer, and travel faster, ect.
120, 380, and the Walking Barrages. It's slow enough and big enough that all three artillery barrage will hit it and significantly weaken it. That's if one guy brings all 3. Now if 1 guy brought all 3 and the other 3 Divers brought at least one of the HE Orbital Barrages...

Idk if the super samples thing you mentioned is actually a glitch. Sometimes there are multiple wiener rocks but the samples only spawn at one of them.

I find the railgun better at dealing with massed devastators and hulks than the AMR. Yeah, the AMR performs better in theory, but in practice you're not going to get those one-shot headshots on Devastators or two-shot headshots on Hulks 100% of the time if they're moving.

It is a big more clunky but end of the day it's more eagle in a shorter period of time when you want it.
I've been running eagle + 500kg, it just works. Just make sure to actually be spamming your airstrikes, otherwise you don't get the benefits.
Im CONVINCED the bile titan has a secret weak spot on the tail that kills it faster than shooting the head. Ive blown its tail off more times faster than shooting the head.
The bile titan only does its bile attack while the back tail part is intact. Changes to weakspot DR reduced resistance of that part to explosives, so that damage type will appear more effective while also being easier to hit. I think they start to bleed health too

At least the game was kind enough to not drop any walkers and we won anyways, but the mission cemented the fact that grenade launchers need proper distance sights and not just a fricking generic red dot. At least offset it to the side so we can use it past 20 feet. It always takes me 2 or 3 shots to hit fabricator vents from any distance other than close range. And shooting through the open doors for some reason only seems to work half the time. Don't have any trouble with bug holes, but those are pretty generous anyways.
I've heard that the door that opens underneath is their weak point, but I've just nailed the head with three quasar cannon shots and a couple of thermites to take them down. That, and using the eruptor to remove the guns on its head.
One or two heavy hits to their rear break it off and expose a radiator underneath just like the ones on tanks. Or get underneath them when they drop bots and blow up the inside.
Are the XP requirements for the next level linear after lv50? I've needed 8000 to get to the next level for a while now but I was expecting it to increase each time.

Chargers are becoming a major pain point for me during bug missions. Not sure what I could bring that could take them down, without everything going to shit while gunning for their ass. Do I just take along the railcannon?

It's supposed to work by decreasing the patrol frequency by 10% while increasing the number of enemies per patrol, but it's currently bugged and does the opposite of that, increasing the frequency of patrols instead. It is cursed.

My experience, if you try to blow something up next to fabricators they spawn endless robots. Blow the fabricators and there are less robots all over the place.

Spores and eggs that either catch a ride on asteroids or are able to withstand reentry and propagate on new worlds.
I thought it was a meme booster at first too, but it does make a difference. It's most noticeable in eradication missions or after completing the main obj because usually it prevents the moronic game director from spawning a trillion heavy devastator patrols and throwing them your way, at least not immediately.
All it does is make it take longer for enemies to call in reinforcements after the first one.
Each difficulty has a timer that starts after a bot drop/bug breech is called, shorter at higher levels. So instead of them calling another round of bot drops after 2 minutes, it'll now take 3 minutes or something before they can call in again.
Efficiently? Get underneath it with an autocannon and shoot the open bay doors five times. Good luck doing that while everyone is dumping ordinance on it though.

Already typically is. Between the small hitbox, the inconsistent hitreg, and tendency for enemy pathing to be unpredictable, I have a hundred times the kills with my Contact grenades as I do with the 500KG in spite of having run them almost as frequently as eachother. It's just too clumsy, too ineffective, too unreliable, and a blast radius one tenth what its visual effect implies.
Stealth is the a farce beyond description in HDII.
1) Enemies always know where you are, they just wait to see you before entering aggro.
2) Enemies have magical imperceptible 'mechanics' to find you. (They just auto-home)
3) There will regularly be patrols that will straight-line zip to you from across the map.
4) These patrols will actually ignore terrain including walking straight up vertical cliffs, bypassing bottlenecks.
5) If you're on something tall, they will magically congregate at the base of the tall thing for absolutely no reason.
6) Enemies themselves make no sound, even 15 foot tall steel mechs, so you can be snuck up on by literal tanks.
7) Enemies are not impeded in any way by environmental conditions, even whiteout snowstorms.
8) How 'loud' your weapon is has less than nothing to do with how much sound it actually makes. Just guess. :^)
The worst offender you didn't mention is that you can try to stealth when calling extraction but the patrols the game spawns and sends your way will know your location anyway if they haven't found you within 90 seconds or so. Idk if they do this behavior if you run out the mission timer.
They do that for most objectives. Try and get through a SEAF Artillery objective without the Coincidence Crew walking right up behind you within 30 seconds of hitting the terminal. I should try moving all the shells to the loading zone before activating the panel and see if that throws them off long enough to get it done.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: HDII commits practically /every/ cardinal sin against stealth design. I honestly can't tell if it's incompetence or malevolence.
I know what you mean, but the patrols sent to you on secondary objectives can still be avoided if you really want, but on extraction they will know where you are without ever running into you if enough time has passed.
Will they enter aggro state and start attacking, or will they just pool around whatever you're hiding on top of until you move?

From my experience the patrol first just loiters on the extraction area, then they'll send out one guy who will 'coincidentally' walk near you, but not always. Sometimes this guy will be far away from where you're actually hiding. However, with stealth armor, it's still easy to avoid his detection regardless. Eventually the game gives up all pretense and the entire patrol will bumrush you as the game gives them your position.

I usually just lie prone on the absolute tallest thing my Jump Pack can reach, so I tend to end up with a horde of enemies having a picnic directly below me and trying to act like they don't already know where I am. There was one heinously tactless time I hid inside the ruins of an automaton base in a blind corner behind several environmental objects, and over time an entire standing audience of automatons built up within 4 feet of me, looking directly at me through all the obstacles. It was like that meme of the e-girl hiding under a desk from the terminator, but it was a dozen of them and they were just waiting to have permission to admit they knew where I was. I called the airstrike and went out like a martyr but it was so painfully obvious that stealth is fake at that point that I wish I'd gotten a recording of it.

Honestly I understand they don't want to make stealth too powerful because it would trivialize higher difficulties, but they already pull all these cheap tricks to put you in these tense (albeit fun) scenarios if you're trying to stealth. Want to send 2 patrols my way? Want to spawn them along my path behind a mountain? Fine, but don't have them loiter an objective infinitely, walk right on top of the player without them 'knowing', or have them auto-aggro if it's extraction.

What I'm genuinely the angriest about is they have the fricking audacity to lie to your face that stealth is a supported playstyle. The very first armor you unlock is stealth armor. And then they get on Twitter or Discord and say shit like some enemies can 'smell' the player. It seriously reminds me of the time No Man's Sky claimed that multiplayer was unlikely because the universe was just too big, only for two people to find eachother in-game in two days and confirm that neither of them could see eachother in spite of standing in the same spot. Then the dev goes on social media and says "Wow I'm sooo blown away that you guys managed to do that! So cool!" as if the main issue isn't that they lied through their teeth about what players could or couldn't do with the product they purchased.

That is how it works, there will be a small cohencedence patrol that might notice you or not if you're careful, but the moment you hit the terminal two columns will be dispatched about 25 meters from you along with the mandatory bot drops the moment they have line of sight on you. Never activate any terminal before you position your sentries or have the shells ready at the side of the SEAF loading mechanism.
I'm actively adding more to this list as I remember more and more horseshit.
9) As anon mentioned, patrols spawn instantly around you when you try to do an objective or extract.
10) Hellbomb hitbox is so dogshit that you can spend 5 minutes crawling up to place it 10 feet from a target and it won't kill anything. Why bother risking it?
Another good one. Also, if an ally aggros an enemy, there's a solid chance the enemy with instantly snap to look at you instead, even if you're 90 degrees off to the side, prone, and doing nothing. So the only way to contribute while in stealth is to just be far the frick away from everyone and essentially playing single-player.
That's because it counts as an attack even before the gem lands. I did notice though that if a patrol didn't spot you but got 'suspicious' and was scanning your direction, you could land a red stratagem on their feet and they wouldn't react.

Dominator is good at stunlocking most of robots and bugs. Flame shotgun is great if you're host. I had high hopes for crossbow but it's mediocre at best.
you can one shot a drop ship if you hit the engines with a rocket launcher or whatever the quasar cannon is. Quasar cannon takes two frontal shots to take down a hulk.

What anon is hiding from you is that on dif 7+ you can have 4, 5 and even 6 hulks sent at you. Good luck finding a strategy anon.
Rockets are very reliable against tanks. Not towers, though, and basically useless against hulks. If you have trouble with hulks, stun grenades are great and allow you to line up easy headshots with the autocannon.
Stealth is supposed to be more of a positioning tool or 'avoid fights you don't want to take' tool. You're not meant to be a full on ghost, you're supposed to use your stealth to get into a good position and kill the most dangerous ones and prevent reinforcements, get your objective done and leave.
Personally I'm a believer in allowing a player to 100% stealth if the game offers stealth mechanics. I already position myself before every firefight against bots anyway, and I know that running away/avoidance is a free action too.
Unrelated but I would really like a capeless option for our divers. Yeah yeah, I know, the capes are awesome and drippy but sometimes I'd like a more professional look ya know? Also I need an unobstructed view of my leandiver.
I take IMMENSE joy in joining random people's lobbies, waiting until extract, and once everyone is sitting in the pelican - I pull out my Senator and proceed to shoot each of them in the head as they sit there, unable to do anything except helplessly watch.
I do this to shitters who take my gear upon drop/death without a word, or if someone carelessly throws stratagems and gets like 4+ accidentals. I just spend a bit of time "guarding" the drop by shooting enemies and once all of them are on board I kill the offender. I also do not pick up their samples because shitters will have a harder time getting them than me.

I might be lucky, but I've never encountered inconsiderate people, all randos I've played with tried to do their best and were pretty polite, many gave me weapons I hadn't unlocked at the time even without asking.
Despite how it sounds I only did it twice. Quickly kill the offender then get on board immediately so host doesn't have time to kick. If I'm the host I give a shitter 1 warning. However by far the majority of games don't have malicious actors, unless you count moronic teammates, but they gotta learn somehow. The only time I kick morons is if someone joins a bot helldive extract (hard version) and they want to bring moronic shit like precision strike and spear. Play how you want in any other fricking mission but don't join bot extract with that ghetto loadout.
I think there's some kind of lag situation on syncing bot fabricator doors being open or not. I fired 3 Quasar shots into their open state and nothing happened, then my brother (who was hosting) fired a Quasar in once and killed it as normal. I've also seen times the door appears to be permanently stuck open from a long distance, but firing into it does nothing.

This is what will happen at the rate things are going, there aren't many viable weapons in the game and they keep nerfing, the new warbond is almost pointless.
There is too much enemy armor variety and flying ships now so the only thing that works is the autocannon.
If you bring anything else you can't play unless you go stealth which is next to impossible with many players, specially randos.
The game is a horde shooter that penalises you for shooting, people will grow tired of it quickly unless some drastic re-balance is brought forward.

Reminder that the Punisher is the supreme TKing device. Even light hits at range will stagger and knock down other players 100% of the time, and being a shotgun it's easier to hit your target, which can make all the difference if your target knows you're coming.

The bug wasn't the PS5 players doing more damage, the bug was that if a PS5 player hosted, everyone else would do more damage if they were on PC. This is how the Railgun was so broken and up until now it could still two shot Bile Titans with that bug, and now that its finally fixed it can't kill anything anymore and it takes 13 shots to down Bile Titans and Chargers are back to being immune to it.
Now the bug works the other way around, if the host is PS5 the effect is the opposite, the mission is much more difficult than PC hosting.
DoT fix is happening but they are overhauling systems to do it and the same team making content is also bug fixing so calling it a glacial pace is being kind.
I wish they could just throw money at the problem but just hiring randoms to do the new job probably takes a while till they can get things done.

It is shit, safe mode is completely useless after the nerf and unsafe mode only kills if it's overcharged as far as it goes before you blow up. I don't know why the damage doesn't scale linearly with charge.
There was no reason to take it after the nerf, but now the Quasar exists to add insult to injury. The QC needs to charge up just like the Railgun but it actually kills things, has infinite ammo, and doesn't have the risk of exploding. The Railgun is so bad it may as well be a primary.

The medic perk is clearly intended for team play but they fricked it up by doing absolutely nothing to make healing teammates easier and by making it infinitely better to just hoard all your stims for the extra heal time.

I used to run 200 exclusively and went back to the default 150 medium armors recently. 200 only offers a little bit more survivability than 150, as long as you're not hoarding stims it's hardly noticeable.

a) A horde shooter
b) A stealth shooter
c) A tactic shooter
Fricking devs decide, if you're going for endless hordes of undefeatable enemies give us weapons that work and more rounds per magazine, or an extra stratagem slot, or more stratagem bombs more frequently, often I run out of the map so I can run around enemies while the super destroyer fires constantly the missiles it can't fire when I'm playing the game normally.

1 or 2 more stratagem slots and buffs to main weapons.

moron, the game is good but could be so much fun if they balance it properly.
Devs can't expect to have 4 autistic players with perfect precision 100% of the time to be able to enjoy the game.
In my particular case playing dif 7 felt today much, much harder than yesterday and that was with 3 well coordinated (not pros) people in the team.
Most people playing do so for fun and just want to shoot and the game the more enemies in the screen the more it penalises you for it.
I'd like to see them do a lot more ship/strategem upgrades so that even the strategems we already have can just be upgraded to deal with this stuff.
Like another expansion bay so airstrikes are even bigger for the bigger hordes, I keep thinking they should have something like an airburst upgrade to make each individual bomb have more power and bigger area of effect, some upgrades to the orbital laser to make the beam itself bigger, do more damage, last longer, and travel faster, ect.

120, 380, and the Walking Barrages. It's slow enough and big enough that all three artillery barrage will hit it and significantly weaken it. That's if one guy brings all 3. Now if 1 guy brought all 3 and the other 3 Divers brought at least one of the HE Orbital Barrages...

I had almost no bugs during the first few weeks besides server issues but now im getting constant but wildly different problems every session

Idk if the super samples thing you mentioned is actually a glitch. Sometimes there are multiple wiener rocks but the samples only spawn at one of them.

weve spawned onto wiener rock with the sample "stalk" but samples you cant pickup. They are there but located below the stalk in the ground.

ditch wienerrocks can have them. in my experience, if there's a normal wienerrock then the ditch will never have the super samples, but i have definitely seen ditch wienerrocks with super samples

It's kind of overrated because that's two slots dediced to your gear instead of having a third big dick destructive strategem, so even that is a tradeoff that needs to be justified, and rail cannon as hell fails to justify it.

Both the Railgun and the Quasar/EAT/RR can one-shot hulks. It's just easier with the RG due to how the sway and tracking works.

You can kill six or seven hulks with the RG in the time it takes to shoot the QC and let it cool down.

I find the railgun better at dealing with massed devastators and hulks than the AMR. Yeah, the AMR performs better in theory, but in practice you're not going to get those one-shot headshots on Devastators or two-shot headshots on Hulks 100% of the time if they're moving.

It is a big more clunky but end of the day it's more eagle in a shorter period of time when you want it.
I've been running eagle + 500kg, it just works. Just make sure to actually be spamming your airstrikes, otherwise you don't get the benefits.

No the actual armored tail, ive seen it blasted entirely off a ton now, and to me it seems faster than hitting the head
The bile titan only does its bile attack while the back tail part is intact. Changes to weakspot DR reduced resistance of that part to explosives, so that damage type will appear more effective while also being easier to hit. I think they start to bleed health too
I typically land a orbital railcannon strike on it's back and go ham underneath it on it's tail with a HMG it goes down pretty quick

It has almost 100% accuracy compared to the bombs, esp when the annoying deployment delay debuff is up.
If you don't understand how to make 500kgs or Precision Strikes reliably hit bile titans, I don't know what to tell you. A single-target stratagem with a four minute cooldown that doesn't reliably kill a bile titan is something I can't justify bringing to bug missions.
The best way to land 500kgs is simple:
They (usually) have a 3 second call-down

At least the game was kind enough to not drop any walkers and we won anyways, but the mission cemented the fact that grenade launchers need proper distance sights and not just a fricking generic red dot. At least offset it to the side so we can use it past 20 feet. It always takes me 2 or 3 shots to hit fabricator vents from any distance other than close range. And shooting through the open doors for some reason only seems to work half the time. Don't have any trouble with bug holes, but those are pretty generous anyways.

I've heard that the door that opens underneath is their weak point, but I've just nailed the head with three quasar cannon shots and a couple of thermites to take them down. That, and using the eruptor to remove the guns on its head.
One or two heavy hits to their rear break it off and expose a radiator underneath just like the ones on tanks. Or get underneath them when they drop bots and blow up the inside.

I still can't beat higher difficulty eradication missions solo. On most missions, it's more than doable with all the space you're given to extricate and avoid patrols. On eradication, you're forced to just get raped by endless heavies.

I thought it was a meme booster at first too, but it does make a difference. It's most noticeable in eradication missions or after completing the main obj because usually it prevents the moronic game director from spawning a trillion heavy devastator patrols and throwing them your way, at least not immediately.
All it does is make it take longer for enemies to call in reinforcements after the first one.
Each difficulty has a timer that starts after a bot drop/bug breech is called, shorter at higher levels. So instead of them calling another round of bot drops after 2 minutes, it'll now take 3 minutes or something before they can call in again.

Between the small hitbox, the inconsistent hitreg, and tendency for enemy pathing to be unpredictable, I have a hundred times the kills with my Contact grenades as I do with the 500KG in spite of having run them almost as frequently as eachother. It's just too clumsy, too ineffective, too unreliable, and a blast radius one tenth what its visual effect implies.

Stealth is the a farce beyond description in HDII.
1) Enemies always know where you are, they just wait to see you before entering aggro.
2) Enemies have magical imperceptible 'mechanics' to find you. (They just auto-home)
3) There will regularly be patrols that will straight-line zip to you from across the map.
4) These patrols will actually ignore terrain including walking straight up vertical cliffs, bypassing bottlenecks.
5) If you're on something tall, they will magically congregate at the base of the tall thing for absolutely no reason.
6) Enemies themselves make no sound, even 15 foot tall steel mechs, so you can be snuck up on by literal tanks.
7) Enemies are not impeded in any way by environmental conditions, even whiteout snowstorms.
8) How 'loud' your weapon is has less than nothing to do with how much sound it actually makes. Just guess. :^)
The worst offender you didn't mention is that you can try to stealth when calling extraction but the patrols the game spawns and sends your way will know your location anyway if they haven't found you within 90 seconds or so. Idk if they do this behavior if you run out the mission timer.
They do that for most objectives. Try and get through a SEAF Artillery objective without the Coincidence Crew walking right up behind you within 30 seconds of hitting the terminal. I should try moving all the shells to the loading zone before activating the panel and see if that throws them off long enough to get it done.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: HDII commits practically /every/ cardinal sin against stealth design. I honestly can't tell if it's incompetence or malevolence.
I know what you mean, but the patrols sent to you on secondary objectives can still be avoided if you really want, but on extraction they will know where you are without ever running into you if enough time has passed.
Will they enter aggro state and start attacking, or will they just pool around whatever you're hiding on top of until you move?
From my experience the patrol first just loiters on the extraction area, then they'll send out one guy who will 'coincidentally' walk near you, but not always. Sometimes this guy will be far away from where you're actually hiding. However, with stealth armor, it's still easy to avoid his detection regardless. Eventually the game gives up all pretense and the entire patrol will bumrush you as the game gives them your position.
I usually just lie prone on the absolute tallest thing my Jump Pack can reach, so I tend to end up with a horde of enemies having a picnic directly below me and trying to act like they don't already know where I am. There was one heinously tactless time I hid inside the ruins of an automaton base in a blind corner behind several environmental objects, and over time an entire standing audience of automatons built up within 4 feet of me, looking directly at me through all the obstacles. It was like that meme of the e-girl hiding under a desk from the terminator, but it was a dozen of them and they were just waiting to have permission to admit they knew where I was. I called the airstrike and went out like a martyr but it was so painfully obvious that stealth is fake at that point that I wish I'd gotten a recording of it.
Honestly I understand they don't want to make stealth too powerful because it would trivialize higher difficulties, but they already pull all these cheap tricks to put you in these tense (albeit fun) scenarios if you're trying to stealth. Want to send 2 patrols my way? Want to spawn them along my path behind a mountain? Fine, but don't have them loiter an objective infinitely, walk right on top of the player without them 'knowing', or have them auto-aggro if it's extraction.
What I'm genuinely the angriest about is they have the fricking audacity to lie to your face that stealth is a supported playstyle. The very first armor you unlock is stealth armor. And then they get on Twitter or Discord and say shit like some enemies can 'smell' the player. It seriously reminds me of the time No Man's Sky claimed that multiplayer was unlikely because the universe was just too big, only for two people to find eachother in-game in two days and confirm that neither of them could see eachother in spite of standing in the same spot. Then the dev goes on social media and says "Wow I'm sooo blown away that you guys managed to do that! So cool!" as if the main issue isn't that they lied through their teeth about what players could or couldn't do with the product they purchased.

That is how it works, there will be a small cohencedence patrol that might notice you or not if you're careful, but the moment you hit the terminal two columns will be dispatched about 25 meters from you along with the mandatory bot drops the moment they have line of sight on you. Never activate any terminal before you position your sentries or have the shells ready at the side of the SEAF loading mechanism.
I'm actively adding more to this list as I remember more and more horseshit.
9) As anon mentioned, patrols spawn instantly around you when you try to do an objective or extract.
10) Hellbomb hitbox is so dogshit that you can spend 5 minutes crawling up to place it 10 feet from a target and it won't kill anything. Why bother risking it?

Another good one. Also, if an ally aggros an enemy, there's a solid chance the enemy with instantly snap to look at you instead, even if you're 90 degrees off to the side, prone, and doing nothing. So the only way to contribute while in stealth is to just be far the frick away from everyone and essentially playing single-player.
That's because it counts as an attack even before the gem lands. I did notice though that if a patrol didn't spot you but got 'suspicious' and was scanning your direction, you could land a red stratagem on their feet and they wouldn't react.

Dominator is good at stunlocking most of robots and bugs. Flame shotgun is great if you're host. I had high hopes for crossbow but it's mediocre at best.

Rockets are very reliable against tanks. Not towers, though, and basically useless against hulks. If you have trouble with hulks, stun grenades are great and allow you to line up easy headshots with the autocannon.

Stealth is supposed to be more of a positioning tool or 'avoid fights you don't want to take' tool. You're not meant to be a full on ghost, you're supposed to use your stealth to get into a good position and kill the most dangerous ones and prevent reinforcements, get your objective done and leave.

Personally I'm a believer in allowing a player to 100% stealth if the game offers stealth mechanics. I already position myself before every firefight against bots anyway, and I know that running away/avoidance is a free action too.

I do this to shitters who take my gear upon drop/death without a word, or if someone carelessly throws stratagems and gets like 4+ accidentals. I just spend a bit of time "guarding" the drop by shooting enemies and once all of them are on board I kill the offender. I also do not pick up their samples because shitters will have a harder time getting them than me.

I might be lucky, but I've never encountered inconsiderate people, all randos I've played with tried to do their best and were pretty polite, many gave me weapons I hadn't unlocked at the time even without asking.
Despite how it sounds I only did it twice. Quickly kill the offender then get on board immediately so host doesn't have time to kick. If I'm the host I give a shitter 1 warning. However by far the majority of games don't have malicious actors, unless you count moronic teammates, but they gotta learn somehow. The only time I kick morons is if someone joins a bot helldive extract (hard version) and they want to bring moronic shit like precision strike and spear. Play how you want in any other fricking mission but don't join bot extract with that ghetto loadout.

I think there's some kind of lag situation on syncing bot fabricator doors being open or not. I fired 3 Quasar shots into their open state and nothing happened, then my brother (who was hosting) fired a Quasar in once and killed it as normal. I've also seen times the door appears to be permanently stuck open from a long distance, but firing into it does nothing.
I think I just killed a dropship by standing under it and throwing a contact grenade straight up. Is that even possible or did something else hit it?
