Am I crazy or does the game frick you over on purpose some times? There are times I dive and I literally can not do anything after, can't stand up or shoot or move or do anything, it gets me killed all the time. I'm not playing on controller or have anything plugged in so I don't think it's that. Other times I reload my gun and specifically wait until it's done, switch weapons then when I switch back in combat/elsewhere some times it will be unloaded again.

No, it’s free “battle pass” is basically just the games progression system. The only actual paid battle pass can be paid for by the games currency that and easily be earned through normal gameplay. It’s very consumer friendly, you really don’t have to spend any more money after the initial $40 purchase. Which is rare these days.

No. You can buy the 'premium' thing ingame or by coughing up a couple bucks. Past that you still need medals to unlock shit. Supercredits, the real money currency, is only cosmetics once you unlock the 'premium' warbond which you'll make enough supercredits in game to unlock anyway.
There's a regular warbond and a premium warbond, currently. The premium warbond costs 1000 super credits to unlock, but the weapons and armor it offers are at best side grades to what's available on the regular warbond. Additionally, by the time you're about halfway done with the regular warbond, you more than likely have enough super credits collected from doing missions that you can just unlock the premium warbond. In both cases, you have to actually spend medals (earned from completing missions) to progress in either warbond.
Warbonds are structured like battle passes but they don't disappear, so they're really just a progression system.
I've bought every armor I wanted from the store with credits I found in missions or by leveling up. The premium battlepass shit is a side or downgrade, the premium armor is just aesthetic, if you use the explosive rifle it's pay to lose actually
The explosive rifle fricks bots, the explosive shotty fricks bug swarms and the napalm grenade is good for holding chokes but the rest of it is pretty average

Give us basic chassis, turret/weapon slots, engine types, and 'special' option parts (bubble shields/transport capacity/S-mines for point blank bug removal etc) and it'd be incredible, fixed vehicle subtypes with dead ends before max tier sucks dick. "You earn credits in game" Which you're then expected to pay for the paid battlepass, and then earn the ENTIRELY NEW WEAPON TYPE that is locked behind it. I repeat: this is not a skin, it is an entirely different weapon.

I can't join the discord but if you're in there you can get the info. You can also take a buddy and scour a trivial map and realize that theres 40, do it again and there will be another 40. repeat as many times as you feel necessary.

They're all sidegrades. You don't "need" a silenced SMG, a flamethrower sidearm, and a rocket pod to be 100% effective. The only one that's debatably P2W is the explosive charge weapon but that's because it's an anti-armor heavy that doesn't have a long reload.

Payday 3 added 3 missions (which let's be real were just cut from the initial release), 2 of them are already worse re-makes of old missions. Diablo 4 is dead and development outside of extra skins is dead before the xpac, which is late 2024. Siege dropped off the fricking cliff after they stopped adding new maps, cut down new operators per season to 1 and begun changing every map to play the same.
Developers don't realize GAAS isn't having a store you add new skins to. It's making an expansion pack worth of content in three to four months with no breaks and no downtime.

Maybe I'm just getting really lucky here but I'm having a great time with the game so far. There are some weird inconsistencies with the matchmaking and the server capacity error, but once I'm in game it seems pretty smooth and I haven't had any serious crashes (one disconnect from another player's game during the last mission of an operation though). About 13 hours in so far and it's genuinely the best co op experience I've had in years - only Risk of Rain 2 comes close. There's something really thrilling when you get a good squad with comms together and everyone picks enough unique strategems to play an essential role (anti armor, base of fire, resupply/marksman, close quarters incendiary)
The one annoying bug I've noticed so far is that the bunkers with two switches needed to open can sometimes freeze you in place temporarily when you loot them. I still tend to open up every one because they have a good chance of containing SCs and medals.
I appreciate the devs not making the monetisation completely cancerous. I feel like I enjoy the game enough I'll be able to accrue enough cash to buy the stuff I actually want without spending any more real world dollars.
I think being an Ausgay helps with stability in my games because I play in the Australian evening times when I imagine a lot of Amerishoots are sleeping.

the game didnt even launch with a log in queue. it just threw unnamed errors. every patch they have thrown out has caused more problems. no idle kick. matchmaking has been broken MOST of the time. reward have been broken MOST of the time, including during the current event to compensate for that. my game crashed earlier while i was in queue. being logged in is almost pointless still because matchmaking is currently busted.
the devs response was to literally tell the players they were gonna take some time off. frick em.

Niche game gets a sequel that exceeds expectations. Some launch issues but they get things mostly working again. Before they can fully stabilize the game suddenly the reviews are coming out since none existed around launch and more people hop in causing more disruption. They tackle the new influx again and hope it's finally over. Soon every big YouTuber is suddenly jumping onto the ship late because it's starting to gain a lot of traction and another huge eruption in player-base happens. This game essentially suffered several different huge burst of players instead of everyone on launch like most games. It was a lot of slow build up of people realizing the game exist and is fun.
Plus it's $40 not gay ass $70

You get plenty of premium currency just playing the game normally, provided you actually bother to go after the treasure caches on the mission map. The premium warbond cost 1000 to unlock and I've still got about 2000 left over - you can easily get around 50 every mission without actually grinding for it.

Managed to get a few people join my lobby earlier today, it makes it so much easier not having to do everything and be the only target.
It's a decent game but once people get tired of the gameplay loop and finish the short grind to 20 it'll be down to 20/50k players.
DRG does a better job anyway
