Personally I think this controversy is a bit overblown, but I do hope a compromise is met. I like Arrowhead, I like the game, and I hope it continues to grow. My only real gripe with HD2 is the armor perks.

Hasbro doesn't get all the funds from BG3 itself unless they choose to have it remastered later. Since Larian published and developed the game themselves. Hasbro owns all rights to the characters and stories and have put them to use since then. They got paid by Larian to use the IP to make the game and get a percentage due to licensing issues. Since they aren't the Publisher of the game they don't get anything other than that percentage. Unlike publishers of the games getting all of the money the game makes and developer getting whatever the hell the publisher paid them for to make the game.

Anon, copies are just estimated and can be inflated very easily. The only real info from the revenue is that 90 mil that Hasbro's spokeman said.
Hasbro doesn't get all the funds from BG3 itself unless they choose to have it remastered later. Since Larian published and developed the game themselves. Hasbro owns all rights to the characters and stories and have put them to use since then. They got paid by Larian to use the IP to make the game and get a percentage due to licensing issues. Since they aren't the Publisher of the game they don't get anything other than that percentage. Unlike publishers of the games getting all of the money the game makes and developer getting whatever the hell the publisher paid them for to make the game.
Under you misconception. Larian paid Hasbro to not get paid making a game and instead pay Hasbro again with the profits of the game.

There's the ban host bug that crashes the game for everyone. There's simply killing everyone on extract or otherwise regular old trolling. There's almost always some weapon effect that can crash.
