What is wrong with Pathfinder?

    >Oh no! How dare Pathfinder give me options for playing that I'm not forced to use and which do nothing but broaden the amount of choices I have!

      Your choices are shit.

I sort of agree with your sentiment cuz OP sucks but more choices isn't always a good thing for an RPG
Players will expect to be able to use anything in the books in my experience, but a game with stupid races back to back just becomes imaginationland with no atmosphere

    >uses most autistic of all editions as base
    >instead of fixing shit make stuff actually worse
    >fricking grognards cheer
    >"martials can't do shit because my cum and cheeto covered fingers can't catch my mouse"-devs

So this is how imagination dies. With thunderous applause.

    You mean what went right?
Also remember that it is up to the GM to decide what get used or not. Especially in PF2e with the rarity system as a guideline.

Either you've spend past decade under the rock, or you are a never-game meming out

All my groups for the past decade played mostly Pathfinder. Still do, I'm finally breaking the foreverGM curse and am playing in a campaign.
Just tell your buds to stop playing 5e.

Pathfinder is like the 3rd most played TTRPG dumbass

With 5e dnd being the first, what's the second? Pathfinder always filled that spot for my groups with Savage Worlds in 3rd place.

Huh, didn't know it was that popular. With myself having traveled across half the US in my lifetime, I've not once found anyone to play CoC with. Plenty of Shadowrunners though with a couple VTM here and there.

It's the number one RPG in Japan and popular in Europe

                South America, too
They mostly play their own systems, but there's a good amount of CoC and WoD

By your post in a vacuum, nothing. Pathfinder is great with how you can make any character concept you can think of in the system because of how bloated it is.
Pathfinder's major flaw however is how ridiculously bloated it is.

Still my second favorite system though.

You should use those rules to run a game for an entire doll party and adjust the scope and scale to match the players' reduced size. Make them fight a bear or a haunted woodchipper or something. Or go play D&D if you want to be an unimaginative homosexual.
