I hope so too. I think a lot of the people who brought the comedy to the games have since left r* sadly. So I don't know, GTA 6 will still probably be good but I'm afraid of what they'll do to the online mode.
I played it yesterday and beat it in two sittings, about 18 hours - im veteran of this series,really love this game and SA, and i did almost every mission with 4 star wanted level (its the most fun one, 5 star is too inconvenient and youll just get non stop rammed and bumpercar'd by fbi trucks , extremely so especially if you are playing above 30fps) and i just take my time to enjoy funny pedestrian interactions, some stunt jumps, immersing myself into the game world, messing around, do some killing sprees and escaping cops .really fun game for me. i hope one day i can use AI to expand it with infinite amount of custom content that works within the frames of this gameworld
Actually i love the definitive editions, i think its the ultimate filter that exposes who isnt a true fan of the games. Reason being: if u are a true appreciator of these games, u will have the curiosity and enjoyment of investigating a "moronic looking" version of ur favorite game. I found so many funny and amusing things in them

It's a shame they didn't properly remaster it. GTA vice city and 3 would benefit a lot from a proper remaster
