It really doesn't matter. SC2 choices are always "yes, you were correct to pick this option".
For example when you have to choose between evacuating the scientist lady or killing her, she retroactively becomes either infected all along or not depending on your choice. Whatever you pick, the universe bends to your will and makes it the correct choice in hindsight.
As for pure gameplay, Spectres are aggressive and fun but Ghosts are more useful.
I always assumed that if you help to purify the colony it's implied that the Dr is desperate, locks herself in the lab and infects herself with the virus to test her cure but fails.
That's a good theory, but the way it's presented (especially in context with this always being the case with every other choice), it just feels like the game is patronizing you by always making what you pick the correct choice. >Oh, you didn't trust this person? Good eye, they were evil and you could totally tell! >Oh, you actually trusted them? Good eye, they were obviously a good person and you're were right to trust them!
Nope, that's not how the game handle choices, the player will always be right no matter what.
If you go with Nova, tosh will always have been a schizo junky and Nova never lied to you.
playing SC1 for the first time after SC2 the hardest part was fricking re-hotkeying your army as your units are dying and getting replaced. overall it was fun but i wish the game threw larger groups of enemies at you so splash damage like siege tanks, plague, storms, reaers felt more rewarding.

Ghosts are better
there's no way to convince these two to work together?
This is the classic 'bros before hoes' choice
True, that's why I always choose tosh. This homie is a bro all the way, why would I choose a random thot?
how is he a bro though?
Help Azula.
Selendis my wife. Bottomless zerg mutant doc a cute tho. Too bad she gets a few lead jabs.
>zerg mutant doc a cute tho.
Yep.
i can fix her
YOU WOULD BE WISE TO CHOOSE MY GANG
>black guy wants you to break people out of prison
Erm what the deuce
You don't understand. ACAB, especially in space. They dindunuffin
>will join your cause
>wont join your cause
tosh it is

Starcraft 2's story is so incredibly dumb in the first place that I'd argue that this patronizing is basically a drop in the bucket.
Nova's mission is more fun.
Unit-wise, spectre have more dps but have shorter range than Ghost.
based Black person actually volunteers to bust your ass out of a prison in the next campaign
does that imply the canonical choice is helping Tosh?
The canon choices are always the left ones.
So Tosh for OP's choice and the doc in
Blizzard are basically leftist if you can my drift.
Ironically, the right missions tend to be more fun.
AUTISM TEST
Birds of Prey or Ground Zero?
Dealing with nukes is easier, I think. Ground Zero for me.
It's Birds of War.
Which is also my choice.
Seconding Ground Zero.
>ugly black criminal vs. attractive blonde sniper
Hmm
the zesty homie of course
Turtle up or destroy the zerg?
Destroy the Zerg, just so I don't fall asleep.
this mission was ass on mass recall mod
the zerg literally rape you
skill issue zoom zoom
homie you can't turtle this shit
all you can do is save up for mutalisks and launch an attack on the Terran base
your suggestion sounds way more difficult, seeing as you play terrans.
Nova is flat out lying to you and Tosh is a bro.
Only if you pick tosh side.
If you go with Nova, tosh becomes a schizo that would have turned on you.
>Go Nova side, effectively betraying Tosh first
>It's now Tosh's fault that HE turned on YOU
Nah
Nope, that's not how the game handle choices, the player will always be right no matter what.

Turns out both are correct when you choose them.
I won't be swayed by the allure of a big ass and big breasts in a tight jumpsuit.
I will, however, be swayed by Ghosts being way cooler and a better unit
