i didn't play a single Senran Kagura game, but she's hot.
I started playing them recently. The gameplay is simple but kinda fun and I feel more connected to the girls i've been fapping to now.

The story is campy as hell but like in the fun way. And I love the character interactions a lot. Just hits a sweet spot i've been lacking in my life for a while. And being able to play dress up with them is pretty fun.

I've only played Shinovi and Estival, but I remember older SKfags saying that the game's lore and premise were genuinely interesting in games like Burst and Deep Crimson. Shinovi, and especially Estival, sounded like they flanderized the hell out of the entire cast.

SK2DD multiplayer was a lot of fun. You got to run through the dungeon with somebody else. Sure, it was pretty simple, but you could show off and cooperative was a lot better than everybody playing Rin in the competitive vs panty gathering of the other titles.

I love Asuka and her 3DS games. I played Burst for the first time as a teen and felt very naughty for buying it. I had never played a fanservice game before, and I thought I made a mistake when I saw the framerate, but ended up enjoying it anyways. I recently hacked my N3DS, and it’s surreal to see this game run somewhat smoothly. The canned animations for transformations and whatnot look like they may be 60 FPS now.
What did you do to make it run more smooth?
Forcing the N3DS’ extra power through Luma. Hold select when staring the system and set New 3DS CPU to Clock + L2. Some games may crash or freeze, but I’ve heard it’s pretty rare. Just turn it off in those cases. It also lets you play Senran Kagura 2 in 3D without slowdown btw.

Marvelous unironically went super woke, and the series producer left after 7 fell through with Sony. 7 was probably tied to Sony through a contract since before it even started development, but by this point Marvelous could have developed another entry for Switch and scrapped 7. It’s clear they want nothing to do with the IP outside of the money making gacha that was already running.

Yes, I really like the Senran Kagura games for Nintendo 3DS. Senran Kagura Burst clearly has performance issues or doesn't run perfectly, but somehow, the game is very fun to play and it's more playable than what the trailers or gameplay videos on YouTube might make you think, it's very fun and in one or two aspects, it's better than Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson, but as I said, I really like both games.

If you're just doodling and never try anything else then you'll never get better than bad doodles. If you try replicating anime style, then you'll just end up with shitty anime style doodles.
The good artists - including the anime artists - take time to learn how to draw figures and can use that as reference. Nan didn't get great and noticed because of some highlights, but because they know how to shape some boobies.
I'm sure that most of these threads just want someone to drawfag for them. So don't worry too much if you aren't impressing them. But if you're enjoying screwing around with drawing, it might be worthwhile to try to draw some perspective shit on occasion. Even drawing a simple can can be difficult at the beginning, as I well know.

Anatomy is just building up the pieces. To draw anatomy well, you need to be able to draw 3D objects well. Not even specific 3D object, just the ability to draw in something in 3D. This is why so much drawing advice centers around drawing real objects.
I know it's going to be boring as shit, but you want to draw cylinders. Nearly everything can be made up of balls and cylinders. Ten months to a year of drawing cans, just to practice your 3D drawing skills. It's going to be boring as shit. It's where I gave up. But if you have some persistence, it will help you develop some drawing skills at making things believable in a 3D space. Your drawing life will be cans from now on. You'll probably want to try new Senrans holding cans for these threads, just for practice. It'll look weird, but it's also to see how well you can develop drawing something that looks like a person holding a can.
Everything else comes afterwards. You can draw your boobs after cans. You can draw your perspective legs after cans. But everything begins with drawing those cans.

Honey Parade is basically Marvelous' Senran Kagura division, its name was first used for PBS and they retroactively added games like Valkyrie Drive and Uppers to its name too. New Link was the first game done entirely within the studio rather than with someone else AKA Tamsoft, and Dolphin Wave is their second. It's not a subsidiary, it's all in house.

I still like the 3DS game a lot, but you aren’t wrong. Playing Burst Renewal recently showed me how much better the Hebijo story was. It feels way more obvious now than it did when I first played as a teen that the Hebijo story was made separately for a later release and does a lot of heavy lifting for the overall plot.
