nah, as someone who made a game with small success (not enough to make good money but enough to have active community) I'd say 50% of players will actually give really good ideas and tips, 25% want completely random stuff that makes no sense and are tailored specifically for their one of a kind makeshift setup, and only like 25% of them are the loud morons we always see that want a piss easy game and cry about any challenge or minor inconvenience, or ask for totally stupid game mechanics that makes no sense. They should be ridiculed and discarded.
Man I remember some homosexual writing a long rant on the forum that the game default volume setting (75%) is too loud on his headphones and i should set it a lot lower because go to settings and moving a slide is wayyyy too hard for this little homosexual. Clearly everyone else should have the game shipped with volume setting too low and do this, just so he can use his headphones without having to slide it down one time. I swear some people are legit moronic.

The proper method of listening to fans is understanding what the most requested thing is, and doing that thing. Of course you can't do what every fan asks for, but you CAN do what most fans ask for. That's how QOL improvements are made when patches or sequels are released.
