Based. The last thing I want to do at the end of a long, exhausting day is spend an hour on a quest scavenger hunt only an autist could solve in less than an hour. Video games are about FUN, not trying to prove anything to anyone.
Blindly following a quest marker isn't fun, it's not exploration, it's just mindless work. Playing KC:D in hardcore mode made me realise how much I hate Oblivion for introducing this lazy design.
Well how else would i know where to go, while i'm walking extremely slowly while listening to the 2 characters spewing awkward exposition, while i'm checking text messages on my phone :^)
I don't get it.
People have beaten Morrowind without these and Morrowind is a featureless brown wasteland with no landmarks to speak of compared to Skyrim.
I'd actually be fine with this. They mark a general area on your map and you'd have to check your map now and then to make sure you're heading the right way.
