True, they could make it their niche that instead of developers just optimizing for their Gamepass machine and Playstation 6, they do it as well for a specific Windows PC or a few different versions of it so users will not have the regular PC issues

I don't see why they don't just raise the price of their high end console if they aren't making money from it. I'm a PC guy but I can understand being a high-income man, not interested in Sony exclusives, while also having enough to fork over 600 for a "high end" gaming machine box. Why do they choose to sell consoles at a loss?
Every modern console has been 'sold at a loss' and the only way to not sell it at a loss would be to frick the ratio of price/performance. Like when a new GPU comes out and it's 2% faster, but 100 dollars more.
