That's not a timer, that's an estimated time of completion to achieve those trophies.
Why does that exist?
Its an "activity" feature for some PS5 games. Gives you side quests and the expected completion time. For people who dont have a huge amount of time I guess and want to pick and choose what they do.
People have jobs and kids and its nice to know how long something might take on average.
Kinda seems like it's a feature for people who like earning trophies more than playing video games.

No, Harry is Venom and you and miles fight him and peter is wounded, they go to Martin Li to heal Peter with his powers and it activates the venom cells in peters blood giving him anti-venom symbiote powers and Peter is able to defeat Venom with it and the venom symbiote is destroyed, but Harry dies and this pisses off Norman obviously and game ends with Green Goblin tease for 3

Worst part was Ganker had a really good copypasta floating around for months prior to the game release that actually sounded like a good hypothetical scenario where he was a flash clone of Batman. Read like a good mix of Damien and Jason. Instead we just got Under the Red Hood with soldiers instead of gangsters. Though the entire Studio section was maximum bat kino and I enjoyed the League of Shadows DLC even though we never got a delivery on the Thalia and Azrael DLC hints.

The Miles DLC had the most in-your-face BLM propaganda I've seen yet in a video game, so I am not so sure. But with or without her writing, I expect Miles to have some turbo woke side quests in game two.
I liked how they deliberately triggered the trophy at the end of that quest right when it zooms out to frame the giant fricking BLM logo, ensuring everyone on PS5 gets a screenshot of that shit.
