About what? CA only has a problem because they failed to milk Warhammer 3 properly and didn't make correct historical titles for chuds to play. Otherwise they would be swimming in money
I still think despite their recent ups not managing to get a game with a guaranteed audience as large and motivated an audience as chink nationalist be profitable is still CA's biggest "how are you this incompetent?" moment
i watches most recent legendoftotalwar vid it was 3k disaster save and hated everything about it, he ran with 3 heroes around map abusing moronic AI, solo killing isolated stacks of units, fricking stupid no idea how people enjoy that.
Mate that's how you cheese every single TW
Did you ever play M2 or R1?
few generals with armies and their elite knights bodyguard running circles around enemy still looks less stupid than single Superhero unit taking out armies like its a fricking cRPG.
>few generals with armies and their elite knights bodyguard running circles around enemy still looks less stupid
No, it looks equally stupid and at least Romance of the Three Kingdoms has the excuse of, at least romance mode, not pretending to be realistic.
>Mate that's how you cheese every single TW
Your "cheese" stop at moment when you lost half of units in single battle, and should w8 5-10 turns until it replenish.
Also until late you don't have reliable source of generals, so god help you if your leader not lucky since he can die even during pursuit.
Back to those times, stack of generals only appear in Empire, since you can unlimited recruit generals .
I only watched his older Med 2 and Rome 1 videos and he did mention that he has no experience playing against other players and that he focuses on tactics that work against the AI.
So, with the whole mess going on, has Three Kingdoms 2 been cancelled?
I hope we get something. Perhaps not Three Kingdom 2, but so many good ideas from this game feel underutilized. At the very least they should make Shogun 3.
i loved dynasty warriors on the PS2 to hell (never played the new ones) and i was hoping for an experience similar to that
to be honest it delivered, but it feels unfinished
I wonder if the DLC would have worked better if it had dropped the Koei approach in favor of more different feeling campaigns. Been reading about the Chu-Han contention and I honestly think it could have made a cool campaign.
Then again, I think the lack of financial support for the DLC probably would have kneecapped them regardless.
You are probably correct. It's why it annoyed me none of the good ideas of eight princes were brought over to the main game.
I still think Eight Princes could have worked if it was the last, rather than the first, DLC. The Barbarian Invasion to the Grand Campaigns Imperial Campaign. Doing it this early was a mistake though.
>toehul wah is billshit
to think he was right all along...

They also wasted a shit ton of money on Hyneas.
kino TW

They really did frick up the post launch support VERY badly. Game became less stable as it went along.
still my go to palate cleanser total war

That's literally how you win Medieval 2 as well.
you win in m2tw by soloing armies with single entity units?
No, you win Medieval 2 by soling armies with bodyguards.
few generals with armies and their elite knights bodyguard running circles around enemy still looks less stupid than single Superhero unit taking out armies like its a fricking cRPG.

Mate go play Rome 1
Like 4 generals bodyguards and you're wiping out full stacks, it's moronic
Game lets you switch to bodyguard generals, complaining about single entity units is a cheap shot.
Only if you're fighting armies of Levy troops and light infantry
You could have just said "Only if you playing Medieval 2."
Actually, no, that's wrong. In Medieval 2 it would be 50% artillery as well.
that happens when they run out of manpower and siege units is only thing left
It tends to happen in general. Simply because most cities have way easier access to artillery than anything good.

Imagine calling yourself 'legend' of total war when all you can do is cheese the shitty AI. Has he ever played against another human?

Yes, it was canceled last year
Sad.
I just hope they take some of the ideas to Shogun 3 or Medieval 3.
yes an excuse of being a shit ching chong capeshit story
>Capeshit
Oh yeah, I remember all of the capeshit that ends with the heroes totally failing and getting killed in increasingly embarrassing manners.
another total war thread? Frick yes! I was just thinking we needed a 20th thread about this shit!
i loved dynasty warriors on the PS2 to hell (never played the new ones) and i was hoping for an experience similar to that

It suffers mostly in the south. Not having barbarians from the start makes half of the map feel very empty.

What people wanted was more content, more officers, more events added to the grand campaign. Liu Bang vs Xiang Yu has the same problem as 8 princes.
You are probably correct. It's why it annoyed me none of the good ideas of eight princes were brought over to the main game.

I thought 3 Kingdom's was considered a good game.
It is.
The issue is that CA shit the bed with it's post launch support.
Not really it hat the same terrible combat as all of the other modern TWs.
