>What the frick happened to chocobos?
they look meaner in 16, lol >what happened to this game? Did it flop?
I don't know because I don't follow saleshomosexualry, but a 2nd DLC is releasing soon introducing the Leviathan Eikon. There's also a PC version planned but we have no release date yet.
It didn't flop in the traditional sense.
It made back its budget and then a bit more, but Square was banking on it as a mainline FF game to make up for their last three failures also.
If games are anything like movies, you spend about as much on advertising as you do on the game. So making back the budget plus a bit more doesn't cover it
But given that I rarely saw ads for the game, I'm guessing they didn't spend a whole lot on it
Maybe I just don't run in those circles
I think something can still be considered a flop if it made just over it's budget, especially since it's a mainline game from an established series
How autistic are you to care about something like that

I'm not saying it's a deal breaker, moron
It just fits the series better than the one in 16 in my opinion

Anon please, stop responding. Its pretty clear he's attempting to derail by specifically mentioning XV and not simply saying "like most other FF games".

I only mentioned XV at first since it's the one that came before XVI sequentially
I don't much care for XV, epsecially the second half
This game was great. I was kind of confused by how no one was mad at Cid for blowing up the crystals. Like everyone in sanbreque would have lost their livelihood when the nobles moved right
I thought this game was alright. Eikon battles were a major highlight but the main combat just felt stilted for me.
Maybe I'm just too used to traditional character action games but this weird JRPG/Action fusion stuff FF has been doing lately just does nothing for me. It's definitely better than FF7 Remake, but the severe lack of basic combos and reliance on art timers just made it a drag at times. It always feels like I'm getting a lesser experience than I would had it gone purely in the action direction or in the ATB/Turn-based route.
I was confused by one detail
We see a scene of Joshua and Scrote going towards the crystalline dominion. Then Clive and Byron nearly run into them in the dhalmekia inn. Wat??? I even checked the lore thing and it doesn't show Joshua's movements.
are you that mediocre anon
shut up
frick, you're right.
This so much, why isn't he a blue haired fat transbian freak amirite??
No, he has a girlfriend.
What the frick happened to chocobos?
More broadly, what happened to this game? Did it flop?

you will NEVER be a chocobo. You have no feathers.
Even the chocobos in this game are boring looking.
Wrong
FFXV Chocobos look better and more true to what chocobos have always looked like
Is there a lore reason as to why they look like this in FFXVI?
even the Chocobos in 15 look like homosexuals lmao. Nobody is safe in that game.
They're war mounts.
She's basically Clive's daughter by endgame right? I read that she's 16.
She's mid.
I can understand liking 15. I like 15. But 16 is better than it in every fricking way lol.
I didn't say I liked the game more than XVI
I just like the chocobo design better

Story was neat though

If someone could explain this to me please. It's kinda bothering me lol.
christ XVI's environments were such garbage
anything that looks remotely cool is inaccessible
