need not apply, try him fair and square and he's definitely the hardest
he's the hardest boss in the game

but thats not commander niall
if you cant two shot his summons then you're not ready
The summons aren't even the hard part, his AOE spam is.
he's definitely hard no question, but after you learn his moves you can dodge/avoid everything and hit him in his windows
I literally just beat him the other day with a quality dual omen cleaver build
niall isn't even in top 5
Literally just wait for him to do the dive attack, and punish him. If he does the giant aoe, sprint in after he dives at you and wail on him. Not hard.
He's only hard if you panic dodge.
I was so bored of the fucking game by this point, I just summoned Mimic and got it over with.
Same lmao, from malenia onwards I just summoned the mimic and called it a day. One of the biggest gaming disappointments
He's only hard if you don't realize you can jump over like 80% of his swings
he was until I saw a no hit run and you can basically hug him so he misses most of the swings
I never beat him. He doesn't even seem that hard, I just wanted the game to have ended 20 hours before that boss but that shit just kept going and going so I stopped playing.
are you fucking retarded? you can run elden ring in a day and a half
what a shame, the next bosses are awesome
>stop right before CHADfrey and CHADagon
you missed out
his first phase is easy and you can just run and throw shit at him in his second phase while he's pulling his anime moves. all builds can use spells or incantations so it's really not a problem.
I bruteforced him with jump attacks, powerstancing greatswords. I cannot do that with Malenia. Shit this guy took me less tries than fucking Mohg
>less tries than fucking Mohg
a-anon.... y-you're bad at this videogame
Mohg took me three tries
You're not me, fuck off.
Mohg took me 35 tries (I summoned mimic after the 20th)
Are you out of your meds?
So what?
He's pretty easy since he has no health and you can use the giant pillars (or whatever they are) to block his ranged/jumping/anime attacks. His other attacks aren't terribly difficult to dodge.
too bad he looks so fucking gay tho
his phase 2 is genuinely the most visually cringe thing in the game
who even thinks that looks good, fucking 14 year olds chuunis?
i thought dog with sword in hand and armor was actually pretty kino, especially the way he uses his hind legs to jump of shit; felt like i was fighting a beast dog who just fucked a white women
>i thought the big black and red epic anime blasts coming from the long hair armor guts berserker anime guy doing flips and floating mid air shooting pew pews was cool
i konw youre baiting blackedposted but dude, loll
can't you just laugh at a beastiality joke?
no i hate maliketh too much, i know white women..well, you just know
lol this is baby malenia
>has a short water fowl
> doesn't regen health
>you get an item to parry stun him
use a great shield, regen health with an incantation and pysic, and use the scarlet rot rapier behind the shield
first phase 20 secs
second phase run at him, he jumps over you, hit, he jumps on poll, roll the range attack, stun with item and gg
beat him lvl 100 10 vigor 10 mind no summon
>use a great shield
you cheated
you robbed yourself of the full experience
you did not beat the game by any definition
if you ever hear someone talking like this, take pity on them because this behavior is characteristic of someone who stacks no paper and no gets no bitches
Golden Halberd in one hand and Nightrider Glaive in the other. Jump + R2 = easy win. Can use Royal Knight's Resolve for an even easier win
>Golden Halberd
If you're going STR/FAI, then just take the fucking Blasphemous Blade and cheese every boss for the last 1/3 of the game, with taker's flame spam. That shit does 2-3k damage per and L2 if you're specced right
blasphemous blade really is the
" i just dont give a fuck any more" weapon
it's not even the dmg, its the life steal and stun
And then you fight Malenia, who will never not dodge it, and you have to give a fuck again.
you're too far away do it 1.5 inches from her face; do it while she hits you, you get the hp back
Depends on what though. If she's having her period spamming combos you might eat her triple swipe and you'll lose the trade. I also hate being that close because if she waterfowls I'm just dead. I know there's a way to dodge it point blank but it's beyond my skill level to do it without bloodhound when in melee.
Don't dodge waterfowl, just throw freeze pot at her as soon as she starts casting it. Bullshit moves deserve bullshit countermeasures.
Maybe I'm getting old but I'm not fast enough to fish out the pot in time. I should learn to use flasks on the toggle items so that I'd have that free. I've beaten her twice with the same character, using a claymore, but I needed bloodhound step both times. Can't even make me feel bad about it, this bitch's patterns are basically if you gave the player a weapon art that combines Lions Claw and Bloodhound step and wild strikes and prayerful strike into a single ash of war.
Maybe you'll be able to make it in time knowing when she casts it. Tip: waterfowl gets queued at first phase at around 50-70% HP, and as it's in queue, she tries to distance herself from you, then slowly walks towards you. When that happens, there are 3 triggers to start off waterfowl:
- she gets hit (even if she didn't back away from you, so be careful with hits around that HP)
- you lock yourself into any animation at middleclose distance
- you come too close to her
Second waterfowl at phase 1 will trigger at about 20% HP given that she HEALED to this HP level, not got damaged OR if you are taking too long to finish her off BUT do not rush her at that point, as she gets both poise and aggression increased upon reaching low HP.
Also if you're using jump attacks it is necessary to release sprint button before jumping to prevent her from interrupting your jump attack
>Bloodhound step
Usable to dodge waterfowl and other cancer move at phase 2, but DO NOT rely on it for distancing yourself from her as she puts invisible walls that bloodhound can't pass through during some moves
>she puts invisible walls that bloodhound can't pass through during some moves
Wait that wasn't just the nerf from consecutive uses? I was wondering why the fuck my trajectory was not only short but forcibly curved when trying to dodge her with it.
I didn't get to figure out when or why this shit happens, just figured out that it does. Use Raptor's Mist (or something like that) instead, it's amazing tool to counter enemies with big fuck off jump attacks, not on Malenia though, since the only moves you can use it on are easily dodgeable ones that leave her open afterwards anyway.
Spent about 80 tries on 1.06 and about 60 on 1.08.1, had only seen second waterfowl on phase 1 when I was too slow at kicking her ass.
they changed her waterfowl probability; it use to only be twice in the first phase
she can do it unlimited now, she can even go from water fowl to water fowl now
are you me, i was having the same issue, i was getting to close and spamming the weapon art and getting caught in water fowl ; this guid helped me
She won't do her water fowl dance, the weapon art, until shes at about 75% health. So you can be aggressive and just keep attacking and dodging the charged attacks; the stab and downward slam.
When she's close to that 75%, make sure you're a bit away from her, or start running directly away from her when she's in the air, so you miss the first jump in water fowl. The second jump you'll want to roll into her. The third jump you roll and walk away from her. It's going to take some practice to figure that out, but once you do it really clicks.
The problem in the first phase is that it's hard to tell when she's going to fowl again because she's so passive at times in that phase. What I learned is that in the first phase she'll go between two states; hyper aggressive in which she runs at you and is attacking, and passive in which you can run all the way to the other side of the arena and she'll walk towards you.
It's vital to be able to tell what state she's in, if she's in the passive state she's planning to do her dance. So if you see her being passive, run far away and hit her with something ranged( like a jump attack with a bow) As soon as that ranged attack hits, she'll pop right into the air. If you are far enough you don't have to worry about the first two jumps, you'll just have to roll the last one and walk away; or just take the hits.
The first one is pretty regular but the later ones that come out seemingly at random generally fuck me. Despite fighting her like 60 times across two kills, I still can't even consistently dodge her attacks in general, much less waterfowl, unless I've peaked during the current playthrough. The first time I got good at most of the timings but replaying months later made me forget everything because she's just so goddamn stringent and every mistake costs you progress in what is already a long fight. I am well aware that people can do crazy shit like beat her at sl 1 naked club only but I still think she's a shit fight that's not even satisfying to beat.
i actually had to leave it for a month, and relearn her moves because i was to stubborn to tey to adjust in anyway the first time ( i just wanted to jump attack stun her)
i will say she's a shit fight, but god damn was i satisfied to beat her more than any other boss in the game and way more satisfying then elden beast
No. He's a glass cannon and starts on half health.
maliketh is a bloodborne werewolf with his head on his ass
source
you're telling me werewolfs and wolfs look almost alike?
The quality of bosses dropped hard after Margott. Just unlimited stamina spamming fuckers everywhere.
>The quality of bosses dropped hard after Margott. Just unlimited stamina spamming fuckers everywhere
So you meant Margit?
Margit crumples to heavy weapons at least.
Eh not really. The guy has less health than malenia. You also have pillars that shield you from his attacks. His 1st phase was harder imo
You're trolling or you don't know Melenia exists.
>gargoyle duo
>godskin duo
>crucible knight duo
>crucible knight + misbegotten furry
>Alecto
>Melenia
>Radagon
>Niall
Just off the top of my head those are all harder than Maliketh. He's a cool design though.
The enemy I died to the most was one of those cat/dog jank guardians. It was in one of those secret snowfield extra dungeons. Fucking thing one shot me time and time again. I have no explanation. I went down an elevator and it was down just a few steps after that. It sucked and I hated it.
Those fucking catdogs made me furious, fuck that bullshit and whoever the fuck decided to put them in there.
He might be if he had more health. The first couple times I fought him, he whooped my ass, but as long as you can survive for a little while you can muddle your way through.
Malenia, on the other hand, you can’t just beat. You have to dumpster her.
um sweetie have you tried the mountain top of giants at night?
These guys are so overhyped here. They are extremely slow and all their attacks are really easy to dodge. They aren't even harder than Margit, including that one.
the one at apostate derelict has 17,625 hp
maliketh at 10 k hp
mogh the omen 14 k hp
go ahead show me a gif
Someone post the dark souls comic of the entire line of people egoposting about what they believe is the "hardest boss"
He's not really the hardest, his 2nd phase is so fucking easy it's not even funny. I keep posting about a tinfoil theory I have of how if you get hit even once during a boss fight that it completely changes the behavior of the boss for the remainder of the fight. I also believe that maliketh is one of the biggest offenders of this since his first phase is either a total pushover or he gives you almost zero breathing room.
I think it's not just about getting hit. If you get hit, bosses will have their agro raised to the skies until you retaliate with a few hits. It's probably made to fuck you up for trying to heal after getting hit.
I don't think it's a bad mechanic, if a boss hits you and sees further openings then they go for it. That seems natural. In some of the earlier games a boss typically wouldn't react any differently whether it hit you or not.
It's as half-assed as boss getting increased poise at low hp. It's good that boss' behavior changes, yes, but it's not supposed to stand out that much. All excitement off bossfight falls apart the moment you realise there's no 'intelligence' in that boss, just a few simple scripts and input read and it sucks.
I don't know shit about game design lul, I'm a brainlet when it comes to getting into specifics on how to design or improve a boss. What I was saying is that I don't think the mechanic itself is bad, since mid-combat changes in behavior isn't inherently a shitty idea. It could be tuned up, I don't think the whole thing should be tossed out because it didn't turn out so well.
>I keep posting about a tinfoil theory I have of how if you get hit even once during a boss fight that it completely changes the behavior of the boss for the remainder of the fight
yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if something similar is actually in the game
that got me mad quite a few times, but I'll admit that it was a cool feature too
games aren't hard; they're a form of entertainment like a movie or book
it might be hard for you to understand, but thats because your brain is smooth
Radahn stomped me for days. This guy wasn't as bad, and I could never beat Malenia.
you can beat malenia; i took a month break and beat her in three days
I just got tired and gave up. I'm not going back to the game anymore.
hardest for me was not melania or maliketh, it was elden beast. after I learned melania's moveset perfectly she became a cakewalk. to this day I still need to get lucky to kill elden beast.
huh? it's obviously not the most fun fight ever, but it doesn't have that many moves either, what do you struggle with?
not doing enough damage before it's floating away
elden beat has three attacks, projectile blade, star projectile and the slam with aoe
for me i need so much luck for radagan; i could do him in 30 secs if im lucky and he does his basic moveset ( two hits, roll, hit, break posture, hit, roll, hit)
but if he changes it up i die instantly, honestly it's like 1 out of 4 times i wont die instantly and get to kill him
How can any boss be harder than Malenia? Especially a glass cannon like Malekith.
He has barely any health, jumpable sweeps, and in general plenty of consistent openings. On top of that his dodge timings are lenient and it's just a matter of knowing his patterns.
Meanwhile Malenia has the tightest dodge timings in the entire series, a heavy tendency to string together combos without openings, enormous health, self healing, infinite poise when she wants it, which extends to nullifying posture break, hitstun cancel, nigh immunity to any projectile without strong tracking or invisibility, and waterfowl dance on top of all that, which is pure unfiltered asscancer to deal with as a melee build. She's fucking awful to learn to where your best bet is to outbuild her not play her dumb game.
the base game is fucking game journalist difficulty. stop this "hard" meme already
he took me a while but i finally beat him solo. even as a STRfag you have to be super aggressive or youre ngmi. malenia on the other hand...still stuck on her
"oh he's hard if you play with restrictions" have a nice day, i bet you play touhou lunatic no bomb and cry that it's hard too
Maliketh is probably one of the better designed bosses in the game. You can even strafe a good number of his attacks, and he has smart blind spots that you have to discover that allow good attack opportunities. He's good, his flippy air-jump attack notwithstanding.
It's a real shame he comes sandwiched between the absolute worst parts of the game, boss-wise. He's flanked by the absolute worst fuckers that FromSoft has ever designed.
Godfrey is also good for similar reasons, and Radagon is generally good as well. It's only Elden Beast and the optional post game scaled bosses that suck.
what are the post game scaled bosses?
Mohg and Malenia, as well as general consecrated snowfield stuff. Their damage output and especially health feel like a whole 2 notches above Godfrey/Radagon/Elden Beast.
Never understood the hate for Mohg, but by that point I was level 145 and using a bleed weapon so I guess that makes sense. He was a fun boss for me. Malenia, however, was hard for me at any level.
It is easy enough to miss the physik tear for him to sour one's first impression. Fight is pure cancer without it.
mogh is definitely not post game bro, you can teleport to really early on
and fucking all know tells you to seek the albernaic women for like hours dude
Radagon is okay, but I was so done with the game when I got to him that I don't have pleasant memories. Mostly just, "When the fuck is this game over". I hate Godfrey. Stupid pantless AoE fuck. Horah Loux, WARRIOR, can go suck a dick too.
Godskin Duo is just two disparate bosses mashed into one. No real design thought put into it at all. It's such a clusterfuck if you don't sleep one of them, and then it's just the solo boss. Boring.
>Stupid pantless AoE fuck
How can you not love the AOE? He's begging you to jump r2 him in the face.
what god skin duo and radagon?
dual skin duo is such a joke;
>>hit fatty until he balls
behind poll, fatty will break it but wont roll over
>> hit fatty again until he dies
>>now its a 1v1 with scrawny
They made duo bosses like Godskin Duo unable to attack you at the same time. It's a joke. If you actually stop attacking and just observe them you'll see them trade off with each other. I beat the Godskin Duo first try, no weapon arts, and I didn't even find it particularly difficult.
Has that always been in the game, or is that from a newer patch? I swear to god it was just a mish-mash when I first did it, but that was a while ago now.
when the game first released the godskins would just rape you, it was an absolute bullshit boss
That and Crucible Duo were very nasty on release. It's like trying to make a left turn onto a busy highway.
That's always been in the game. It's not entirely obvious with faster bosses but look at the Crucible Knights duo. They're programmed to not attack you at the same time. If you just watch one but not the other, you'll see it attacks and then pauses and waits, bizarrely, for its partner to attack you as well. The solo versions of any of these bosses do not behave like that.
I don't think so, dude. I'm pretty sure I recall some patch notes pointing out that they reduced multiple boss aggression.
Jumping was a mistake. Jump attacks are so efficient, it just mogs most of the rest of the weapon movesets. God damn, ER combat is so fucking boring.
>Hold R2
>Hold L2
>Jump attack
>perform wrong attack because the game buffers inputs you made four hours ago
I remember this from around the first month of release but I wouldn't be surprised if they changed it in a patch later too.
Found it. 1.04 reduced the AI aggression for fights designated as "team fights".
?t=664
>his roll
While I don't disagree that it's fucking stupid-looking and shouldn't be in the game, the trick is to either strafe him if you have him orbiting at a proper distance, or roll directly through it, head-on. This is even easier with Quickstep or BhS, of course.
Yeah. I wish more weapons had maneuverability options, like a rapier attacking while stepping to the side or something. Or like Bloody Helice's weapon art.
>While I don't disagree that it's fucking stupid-looking and shouldn't be in the game, the trick is to either strafe him if you have him orbiting at a proper distance, or roll directly through it, head-on. This is even easier with Quickstep or BhS, of course.
Yeah, you can avoid it well enough. Get it stuck on geometry, outpace its turn radius, fucking whatever you want but the fact that you can do this shit and it continues for at least thirty seconds and theres no way to interrupt it is gay and aids. imo worse than waterfowl, which is just stupidly tight in its requirements.
At least for the heavier weapons, jump attacks are no longer the sole option due to buffs the rest of their moveset got. But goddamn was it fucked upon release. You were wasting your time using anything except jump attack and maybe the UGS crouch poke. Jump l2 was the only thing that mattered, because the rest of the moveset hadn't yet been given extra speed/poise damage and 2 handing seemed obsolete.
He took me 4 tries, which is more than any other boss in the game. I also beat Sister Friede in DS3 in one attempt. Guess I'm just better than you all.
nevermind that Pontiff kicked my ass 20 times in a row
gauging the difficulty of bosses based on how many times you died to them is dumb because everyone hits different hurdles.
Me? I one shot Sullyvhan but die a dozen or so times to fucking Abyss Watchers.
>one shot Sullyvhan
How is that even possible?
>He took me 4 tries, which is more than any other boss in the game
You beat Malenia in 3 tries? How?
>DS3
From what I've seen it has some of the biggest personal assessments of boss difficulty in the series. Such a wide range of "no this boss is easy, THAT boss is hard" from different people. I first tried Nameless King, which people said gave them trouble, but needed 6 attempts and a switch from UGS to GS to beat the twin princes.
Twin Gargoyles from 1 still have the record for the most attempts it took me to ever beat a boss however, as it was my first game.
I've played dex in every souls game and have never once equipped a shield, so my reaction times are really good when it comes to rolling. Malenia was incredibly easy for me to read.
Alternatively, force me to use a shield and I would fail every single attempt at a parry.
I hadnt used a shield outside of bed of chaos either and found her very aggravating, but that might be because I was usually dual greatswords and your openings can get eaten by her poise.
i first tried pontiff but died 10 times to crystal sage
Dies to frost/bleed like everyone else.
I found Malenia much harder than him. But he SHOULD have been the hardest boss in the game, honestly. He was essentially the climax for me. You've been traveling north the whole game and then you finally reach him at the end. Most games would have ended right there, with Farum Azula essentially being the epilogue to the game, but regardless Maliketh is definitely the climax.
1ST TRY
lol having 50 vigor so you can eat every attack, while using a weapon that heals you
brags about not dying
you should have at LEAST 50 vigor to fight maliketh
vigor is a meme for casuals dude
every lvl you gain increases your dmg reduction
lvl endurance; you can attack more, dodge more, cast more spells, block more, wear heavier armor and it regenerates itself
i beat the game at 10 vigor, dragon crest/ heavy armor and only charged attacks would 1 hit ko me
lel
this dude is literally murdering potential players and newcomers
And?
Strats are strats.
strat is fine, do whatever you want, but its like shaq bragging he can dunk
like ya dude, i'm expecting you not to die, i dont care how you beat it but don't tell me it's impressive it took one time
BRO CHEATS
she LITERALLY cheats
I BEAT MALENIA WITH AN UNDERLEVELED +23 CLAYMORE
ON THE WRONG BUILD
ON A KEYBOARD
WITHOUT BLEED
WITHOUT FROSTBITE
WITHOUT FIRE
WITHOUT MIMIC
WITHOUT SLEEP POTS
WITHOUT SPELLS
WITHOUT HEAVY ARMOR
I HEREBY PROCLAIM THAT THIS GAME IS PURE UNFILTERED FUCKING GARBAGE AND SOIAZAKI SHOULD DISBAND GOYSLOPWARE IMMEDIATELY
BRO AOE
BRO YOU CAN'T CATCH ME
Literally easier than his first phase.
BRO HIV
FORGOT TO POST THE MOHNGEYPOZZED FAG
BRO NIHIL
*hits you from across the arena by holding onto his spear with the very tip of his pinky claw*
>in order to geft to phase 2 you have to find some bumfuck invader in the middles of bumfuck nowhere to get the fucking crystal tear
Absolute moronly design, should'have been in the dungeon.
classic obtuse From design. I like certain things they do but this is just straight up trash.
>inb4 you wouldnt have this problem if you did Yura's quest
never saw him. no idea who he is. i explored 95% of limgrave and simply never caught so much as a peep of the guy. punishing the player for not finding some random side quest before a big boss is bad design, straight up.
You don't need that tear, just chug heals after each N-word. That or just rape him before he goes into phase 2 (achievable by sticking to his left side).
I'm pretty sure most people fight him without the tear just slurp some juice bro
Godskin Duo isn't the problem, Godskin Noble is.His stupid combo breaker, his bullshit roll, hes just an unfun fight. Having to do him, than having to dps race the apostle, before fighting him AGAIN is the leading cause of brain cancer in middle america.
Or it would be if everyone and their mom hadnt learned about their weakness to sleep grenades.
As someone who has more hours in this game than this whole thread combined,
Malenia is hands down the hardest boss in the game, and in whole Fromsoft portfolio. She is actually cheap and unfair mainly because healing ability, making a huge amount of builds impossibly against her.
huge amounts of builds
every build is 50 vigor
oh its so unfair she gets to heal when i block; hold on let me drink to heal
she is the hardest, but how is she any more cheep or unfair then inshin pulling a fucking gun in a samurai dual
You can beat inshin and owl by running away and than light attacking. They are not programmed to counter this at all.
you can beat water fowl by running half way across the arena and jump attacking with a bow ; she'll completely miss you
>making a huge amount of builds impossibly against her.
You just need something to stagger her in phase 2.
Most weapons can interrupt her. The problem is too many frost/bleed procs will make her spam the clone move, waterfowl, chain the 3 hit combo, or animation cancel + instant kill lunge
Name a more bullshit mid-game fight
Bro, your Vigor????
bro your brain folds
just wait until you see the one infront of malekith
The absolute AUDACITY to call someone a smoothbrain when you're dying because your HP is too low.
The AUDACITY.
>spamming Bleed
The fucking audacity, I'm done with you clowns.
I couldn't even get a bleed proc in phase 2 because of her non-stop running, the window between attacks, and the risk.
close man, just pop a the +5 great run arc and you'll have her
Wish I did that before all those attempts.
Love doing stupid shit with her weapon at mid-level.
based bro
luv me sum chubby melenia cunt
simpl as
did you give yourself that weapon on another character or did you beat her at 54?
Beat her
damn bro 54 is pretty impressive i'll give you that
Yup, +4 somber weapons.
I can invade people at Raya Lucaria, Leyndell, Caelid and Limgrave with it.
Completely worth all the bullshit.
>2kat
you didnt beat shit
>vigor
lol brags about low vigor
uses black knife to beat boss
tries to blacks out the summon unaware shes in the fucking photo
if you're going to be a retard just have 50 vigor
thats just a random player phantom schizo and thats just a bush with dark shading
shit king im sorry i kneel
Based low level chad
>Bleed and Pulley Crossbow, presumably with blood bolts
Yawn.
huh?
>my combo never ends until you get hit
Great game. Ding ding
>food doesn't get made until you get off your fat as cook
great game, ding ding mommy bring the tendes
red wolf of radagon killed me more
How is using anything in the game "unfair"? And where do you spergs draw the line? I used a level 10 Eleonora's Poleblade with talismans Millicent's Prosthesis, Winged Sword Insignia, Green Turtle Talisman, and Radagon's Soreseal. Then I drank a Physick made with Flame-Shrouding Cracked Tear and Thorny Cracked Tear, and then I cast Golden Vow and Flame, Grant me Strength with an activated Godrick's Great Rune. I absolutely melted Maliketh.
You pedantic spergs.
Is using a twin blade "not fair and square"? Perhaps I should only use a single blade, such as a colossal great sword? No, can't be colossal, right? Nooo. How about a katana? Nooo, builds up bleed too fast. How about a simple short sword then? Can I apply ashes to it? Can I use complementary talismans? Am I allowed to dodge? Can I dodge many, many times or is there a cap on the number of dodges allowed?
You fussy spergs.
People play however they want to, however they need to. Using whatever the game offers you to its fullest extent isn't cheating. It's creative and resourceful gameplay. Let's be honest here. You spegs have neither the skill nor the IQ to pull it off, so you want to gimp the rest of the players who don't struggle like you do. You are being left behind and that makes you whine like the manchild you are. So, you lash out at those who are passing you by. My advice to you -- Pipe down, stop playing the victim, stop insisting that other people must play the way you play as limited by your feeble skill and IQ, and, oh yeah, GIT GUD YOU FAGIT.
read
Every single boss after Morgott felt like a chore. I did not feel bad in the slightest in exploiting each and every single one of their weakness.
Same.
Morgot was the only endgame boss i truly enjoyed. Everything else got a mimic to the fase. Fucking malekith flies around the arena shooting lasers and judgement cut end while i have a stamina bar.
can you bros imagine the seething if this game didn't have summons
even with summons, respecs, tons of cheesy weapons/items smooth brains still say this game is cheep or unfair
the easiest fuck souls game to date, and you get retards who think they're sticking it to miyazaki by using crutches he made for you
It would have felt like shit since you shouldn't be required to research some ultrabuff dual weapon jump attack build with 3 status effects to beat something that the previous games let you beat with whatever build you had at the end as long as you had 2 braincells to know where stats go.
Summons are there to help you get trough in the case where one of the end raid bosses counter your build hard me thinks.
i know you have one brain cell because you're making a statement but you're so oblivious to what you're saying
"let you beat with whatever build you had at the end as long as you had 2 braincells to know where stats go."
tell me how elden ring is any different
I beat him with no cheese and Malenia was much, much harder.
Blasphemous Claw is even harder than playing normally. The parry window is tiny, the attack is easy to avoid anyway, and stagger means nothing when the entire challenge is dodging him after you get your hits in. If you can do that then you've already won.
you can just instakill him inbone parry it stuns him so long
no, he has dog hp if he had the hp of malenia with phaaes like her, maybe
I beat him fare and square no summons in my first try lmao
>If you used the toolkit that the developers intended for you to utilize, you didn't beat the game
ur a faget
Thats not 2 erdtree knights in corridor
I died to this mf an absurd amount of times but Milenia is still worse.
His continuous damage and the way he jumped all over the place was insanely annoying though.
No he fucking isn't. He has no health and can be rushed down as a result.
Don't be mean to my husband anons 🙁
He might not be the hardest boss but he's the cutest..
Malekith is an RNG boss because sometimes the AI will just spam moves at you, especially in the first phase.
Maliketh has a weird enrage moveset if you're too far from him that will make him spam moves at you endlessly in both phases. It's not RNG because you can change his behavior by just standing in front of his face and rolling foward endlessly. The most annoyin thing about maliketh is that he rubberbands away from the player alot which sets off his enrage moveset.
>try him fair
If the bosses don't play fair, neither will I
Simple as
This is the best philosophy. I've always found it extremely strange how Souls players think it's normal to limit yourself from game mechanics. In every other game, you'd have players figuring out what's good and how to build a strong character, in Souls it's a pissing contest of who gimped themselves more, at least on Ganker.
yeah, it's just Ganker being obnoxious gays and tryhards
nobody cares if you summon for bosses or what build you play with, except on Ganker and vg generals.
i admit that it's fun and satisfying to beat bosses underleveled or with shit build etc. giving yourself more challenge is ok, but bragging about it and calling others names because they don't play like you is peak cringe
There are retards in this board who think they're Ongbal or THH, actual skilled players who can do a no hit run of From games.
true mohg was as hard as malenia to me, if not harder
so many fucking aoes to dodge and barely any counterplay
Just a shitty version of ludwig mixed with artorias. Fucking hacks.
Who gives a fuck? We all beat that game a year ago, move on.
what was her name again?
he's not hard because he has no health at all, he takes way more damage than he should
alright what now?
Malenia is piss easy once you learn how to dodge waterfowl so yea Maliketh is probably the hardest, although Radagon and Elden Beast is the most tedious / infuriating
