>hey Ganker why aren't you reading visual novels?
im not into tranime and i already finished desert stalker update so now waiting for other kinos to drop
Are there even visual novels coming out anymore? I am not talking about the endless slop that fills steam. I read all the big mainstream ones but it feels like it's been a decade since a major release.
ANONYMOUS;CODE just released, which was in years of development, and used to have a huge hype when it was announced.
Although looking at the reviews and sales, I don't think they managed to surpass Steains;Gate nor Chaos;Child, and the hype seems to be completely dead.
Doesn't seem like a bad game, but it doesn't look like it's worth the excitement that it used to have either.
I quite literally said I've only read the big mainstream ones. Do you have any reccomendations, anything that came out relatively recently? I really want to read something.
Because I'm a zoomer like most users of this board OP, my attention span is that of an goldfish, though somehow I finished Monster Girl Quest, which was pretty kino. I liked when Luka awakened his angelic powers after losing the 4 elemental spirits and reaching Ilias village. I came for the porn, but I stayed for the plot as they say.
Finished most of the worthwhile ones a decade ago, been having some tranime fatigue for a couple years now. Dropped Baldr sky after the first route and haven't recovered since
If it isn't comfy classical fantasy, I genuinely prefer reading non-fiction. I can read about some tribe or history of airplanes or something like that, more than read a VN.
It's not that I don't like some lowbrow manga (hell, I'm reading an eechi right now), but I don't see the point in reading a VN, where the art is limited and the words increase, when I can just go read a manga, where there'll be nice art, or read a book, where they can talk about something I find interesting
VNs are (potentially) better than films and books because you get the strengths of both plus interactivity and immersion. And you hear music while experiencing them.
>Finished reading a VN >Beautiful gf dies from cancer, MC becomes depressed and suicidal >MC kills himself >Angel shows up and shows his beautiful gf in heaven, MC is thrown into hell for killing himself >Its a warning to my soul
I'd go all in. Little sisters are made for corrupting.

If you dont count cheap porn then vns are pretty dead medium (same with books lol)
I guess you can read something like somnium files or anonymous code
didn't that developer go bankrupt last year?
Plenty of great VNs releasing but people (probably like yourself) only consume the most popular Japanese titles.

He doesn't, he's just reading weird porn games that come out every other month.
I have read all that interested me.
Recommend me something interesting and not the typical romance moege with regurgitated characters and tropes
no because I'm too busy playing games.

That's where you're wrong.
Are little sisters really like this?
>Are little sisters really like this?
A japanese visual novel would never lie to me.
give me the sauce
That's Toa from Wagamama High Spec
Thanks anon
No they mostly fart and piss their pants
Little sisters are the apex of 2D>3D.
Talking little sisters I was listening to Nanami's ASMR and that made my dick diamonds.
>Making dumplings. But it sounds lewd. (18:06)
what is the code for that one?
VJ015638
brilliant, many thanks anon
30 to 50 hours of reading is more than your average book and I'd have more fun reading that
i dont like having to do routes. i just want a nice story to read like manga.
Finished most of the worthwhile ones a decade ago, been having some tranime fatigue for a couple years now. Dropped Baldr sky after the first route and haven't recovered since
Waiting for the new yuzusoft translation.
I kinda like the pink, hopefully the MC doesn't roll over and take it when it comes to these kinds of interactions
>pink with fangs
picked up
Hope you did your reps because the English version is coming out next year the earliest.
They're not isn't are not video games
I am
have a nice day, worthless sack of shit
no
Disgusting
At least post a finished game you dumb wiener sucker
He can't, he hasn't finished it yet.
When there are finished games better than Star Periphery, I'll think about it
what should i get bros
steel division 2
STEINS;GATE
AI Somnium Files
Danganronpa Collection
Return to Shironagasu Island
Ai Somnium Files
Paranormasight
shironagasu is objectively shit (the culprit is incredibly obvious) but it's still a very comfy read
Gnosia is the only good thing there
+1 for game of fourtune and birth me code
I don't read visual novels, i listen to sound novels.

i'm not a pretentious zoomer, so i play hentai games instead of ""read"" """"visual novels""""
What do little sisters smell like?
strychnine
I used to read a lot of them when I was a NEET. Now I just don't have the time. Rather spend that free time playing vidya than reading.
Because I'm translating one.
It's just a quick first draft. No bully plz.
I'm thinking of making one. Comics and manga don't seem to have much of an audience online anymore, I dunno.
Coz they are all really poorly written. As bad as modern anime and k-drama.
Read books.
Play games.
Watch films.
Hear music.
Ear food.
Frick women.
Simple as. Don't need some stupid in between shit that's not as good as either.

>Ear food.
what game?
onnigokko
>Finished reading a VN

>Its a warning to my soul
Gonna read the FD, read Akari's route, frick her mother, and then uninstall.
The only true way to read VNs is in Japanese. You aren't an EOPnignog, right?
