Hey everyone! Just discovered this wild game called "Trench Crusade" – imagine a 1914 world but with a twist: Templars have literally unleashed hell on Earth! It's a miniatures skirmish game where you choose to fight for Heaven or Hell in an epic battle. The theme is super dark and the artwork looks incredible!
I'm really curious to see how the gameplay pans out with this kind of storyline. Is anyone planning on playing it? I'm thinking about pre-ordering it. Would be cool to hear some firsthand experiences or strategies! This looks like it's going to be epic!

Why is his boot sticking out from under his coat without moving any of the fabric or unbuttoning the lower portion?
There's a slit over that leg we can't see obscured by the gigantic stylized boot.
this is some next level double bait.
Even the author of this mess isn't so clueless and lacking self awareness to make such a thread.
Is he?
No. This is a Ganker level bait thread designed to attract autists of two different sides.
I'm trying to think what the author has done to make a gay think it's worthwhile trying to sabotage his game by making an obnoxious fake astroturfing thread on a Colombian battery testing forum.
There was a previous Trench Crusade thread roughly a week or so ago where a few people were curious about the game, a few were looking at the leaked rules, and quite a few 40k spergs flipping out over it and claiming it's a 40k ripoff. This is likely one of the more schizo among those who has made it his personal autistic mission to start spamming garbage Trench Crusade threads in the same way we've had a billion low quality ToW threads recently.
Ganker isn't your free advertising platform.
It's whatever I say it is b***h. Watch your tone next time.
Sounds based as frick bro. I'm totally going to play it and the new edition of Mutant Chronicles Warzone: Universe Under siege when it comes out in a few months. It's like Trench Crusade - but in space!

For real tho, what is happening with Warzone Eternal? They seem to only now be sending stuff to kickstarter backers and the website still has only pre-orders
They could have started production and shipping sooner but they wanted to give the kickstarter backers time to manage their pledges. As someone who only plays ks games after they've come out I think it's annoying but the game is still on schedule so whatever.
Woah! This is amazeballs!
Take my money & shut up!
>hey everyone! I just discovered this awesome bait! #imabitch
I can't be bothered to read through the rules, is the game any good?
Good morning fellow Gankerler, I am confirm of good game rules and very fun
You are generously assuming there will ever be a game to play from this.
Game?
>Still trying to force it
How about you force the dick out of your ass, 40kdrone?
We actually have a chance to have something fresh.
But, all you can do is endlessly hate on something that is actually cool.
Frick off.
>using hashtags on Ganker
this has to be bait right? either way it's a yikes from me
unironically waiting for asiaticmoot to start offering this place as a platform for advertising bots, for a fee.
I don't get the hate. It's not like it's made by a big corporation, it's just two dudes. Am I missing something?
It's been sporadically discussed for awhile on the board and you see it's like a natural law that anything which gets popular on Ganker will eventually become hated by Ganker. I could come up with a fresh, interesting game and setting that would be very well received by /tg/, but if I made multiple threads, even politely spaced out over a period of days, weeks, even months or years, it would eventually become hated. I don't pretend to know why, but it happens to everything.
Yes. That would be the numerous threads previously showing very clearly there is little interest in this because
a) it is too similar to 40k
b) we have next to no information to rules. Supposedly they exist, but the links are always dead (for me anyways). They have been described as "Mordheim with alt. activations" which, while alright, is lazy as frick if that's all it is.
c) while the aesthetic is somewhat cool on art, it will not translate well into tabletop or models.
d) and most importantly, any criticism of or references to the previous points is 100% guaranteed to drive the anon pushing these threads to fully deny all charges and call you a moron.
>it's like a natural law that anything which gets popular on Ganker will eventually become hated by Ganker.
Wrong. It isn't even remotely popular. Turnip28 is hated as frick here and yet it is still more popular than Trench Crusade.
>I could come up with a fresh, interesting game and setting that would be very well received by /tg/, but if I made multiple threads, even politely spaced out over a period of days, weeks, even months or years, it would eventually become hated.
Counterpoint : Agartha. /tg/ designed a setting, lore book is in editing mode, 2 versions of a wargame, playtested it, one which currently has over 10 factions, a campaign mode in the work, and the thread's been up for about a year now without getting more than one hater.
post microdick or gtfo
Wow! I'm totally going to pick this game up right now! Just preordered as much as i can!

That art is pretty cool, though.
Reminds me of a thing I playtested at PAX one year, think it was called Deoslate Front. The idea was that WW1 acted as a mass blood sacrifice that woke up all the magical shit, so each country had its own supernatural monsters on their sides.
>Americans get Wendigo, Jersey Devil, Bigfoot
>Russia gets Baba Yaga
>UK gets banshees, Spring Heeled Jack
Any relation?
Outside of some WW1 aesthetics there's no real connection. Trench Crusade's basic idea is the Knights Templar opened a rift to hell in I think the 1100s and due to fighting the forces of hell for hundreds of years history is pretty skewed.
>Reminds me of a thing I playtested at PAX one year, think it was called Deoslate Front.
That came out recently as A War Transformed. Heard reasonably good things about it other than needing a rather large model count for a skirmish game.
theres also never going home, but that leans morenin the occult
