I get it's a large game but there's zero reason for it to be this big with the fidelity of textures. If I had to guess, the cutscenes and various videos being used around the game are probably either uncompressed or barely so.

Any dialogue that accompanies an animation or video will only be muted, but it's a god damn savior.
The downside is that, at least for me, it takes a few minutes to launch BL3 for whatever reason.
I can't believe Lady Hammerlock slept with Troy. I mained her in the pre-sequel and she ends up fricking an actual parasite of streaming cringe. At least Lilith and Roland or Maya and Krieg were player characters and had decent chemistry from the shorts alongside promotional material. Where was her character development? Why was Maya killed off for OC Donut Steel fart girl? Why did Tannis not instantly teleport out of captivity since she was a siren? Why would Lilith sacrifice herself to save a thrice shown irredeemable shithole of a planet? Why did Axton, Gaige, Salvador, Mordecai, Brick, and the cast in general get done so dirty? Why is Tiny Tina the big gay? What went so wrong?
This game easily has the worst writing out of any game I've ever played. Disrespects previous entries, killed beloved characters off screen, and literally had zero plot to speak of. The fact that anyone approved this script baffles me

The Bandits, Crimson Lance, and Destroyer in the first game were all shown to be credible threats, with characters constantly remarking on how the bandits essentially controlled pandora, the Lance suddenly dropping in after only being hinted at existing by a few throwaway lines and posters, and the Destroyer having ancient alien guardians protecting anything relating to the vault.
In 2 Handsome Jack controls an entire corporation, and has been shown to have already pushed the heroes back to a desperate position at the start of the game, as well as often being one step ahead of the player.
3 doesn't do anything like that to establish the twins as a threat
Prohibitively large download size aside, if you mute all the dialogue I think it's fun as a borderlands game. The legendaries are still good and there's even more build variety than 2 with more perks and trees.
