Meanwhile, FFXV is still reviled, and despite other games in the series like XII and XIII getting the "it wasn't THAT bad" treatment and becoming contrarian darlings, this has yet to happen to XV, mainly because it's impossible for anyone on Ganker to think about XV without imagining Barry's unhinged autism. That game would probably be a lot better received if Barry simply didn't exist. His actions have ensured that everyone will remember XV as a piece of shit forever. He has failed at everything he's sought to accomplish. Imagine that. Imagine pursuing a goal with that much unfiltered autism only to realize that you are further than when you started. Unironically, I think suicide is the only solution at that point.
