The new ranked ruleset starts on January 2nd, and so far between SWSH and SV, DLC always releases in the month before a new ruleset starts. Rulesets always last 2 months minimum, which means the DLC is either either December or February+
Or maybe they just want to give people time to learn about the 19th Tera type....

The boxed copy includes the DLC and you can't buy the DLCs separately. There is nothing suggesting that Indigo Disk will release in November. If they sell Timmy the new bundle, he's going to get the DLC eventually regardless.

Triple Arrows will hurt in solo. But Weezing will probably be really good. Physically defensive, access to Acid Spray, and it resists both STABs while the owl doesn't have much to hit it back with. Even Munkidori would be pretty good if it doesn't have Knock Off.
Why not Okidogi (or maybe Toxicroak lol)? Poison/Fighting resists Grass, Fighting AND a potential rock move which wouldn't hurt much anyway but every resistance is a bonus.
Munkidori has Acid Spray, which is always preferable when possible because it can lower stats behind the shield and gives you your tera when the raidmon is at min spdef.
Toxicroak sounds good on paper until you see its base 86 special attack.

Indigo Disk is going to amplify that. Roughly a third of its dex is comprised of starters. 72 dex slots devoted just to starters.
