Aside from typhlosion they all look like ass
Samurott obviously better. The original's color scheme was always fricking ugly and the shape of his helmet unappealing. New one fixes both problems with frankly nicer moustache shape too.
Typhlosion is a sidegrade, not really worse or better, Decidueye's design got worse but is a lot more fun to play.
>his
Her.
Forgot to mention shinies.
I didnt care about the origional owl, but I love this one.
This but Typhlosion, the yokai direction salvaged it.
Quilava does remind me of those pipe foxes which are weasel-like
>Samurott
Buff stats, great spamable signature move and brand new ability for HA in gen 9
>Decidueye
Not improved or solved problem with mixed offensive stats and speed, speed even more nerfed, great signtature move and decent HA
>Typhlosion
Speed nerfed, worthless HA and copy-paste hex signature move but with burned chance status
I think, biggest improved is Samurott, but Decidueye might be the best one, if Gamefreak devs liked this one and give it more speed, but they doesn't liked Typhlosion either
Sexo
They’re all shit but better than their previous forms since you can only go up from rock bottom.
>Samurott
Is a big improvement. Helmet looks less stupid. Pose looks less stupid. Animations look much better, fitting with how it's less fat now and thus should be more agile. To finish it off, it's water/dark instead of a monotype and got a better moveset.
>Typhlosion
I'd say Typhlosion is an improvement just from not being a monotype anymore either. I think the ghost fire looks cooler and I like the inspirations for it. From the leaks fans made fun of it for looking high, but from the art used here I just see it as being mischievous, fitting for the yokai theme it has which I also see featured in a lot of fanart.
>Decidueye
Don't think its place changed a lot. I like it a bit more than the original but that's it
Hisuian Decidueye looks awesome, but it has all that wasted special attack on a physic bruiser for no reason. It was clearly designed to work with PLA's mechanics, and it shows. Agile triple arrows makes it a top 5 pokemon in the whole game.
To add insult to wasted special attack, they recently gave Vacuum Wave to a lot of mons but not Decidueye. Even frickin H-Lilligant gets it
>the only three starter so shit they got replacement form
really make you think
Just rating them off design because I'm not a virgin homosexual.
Decidueye: Improvement, original is too awkward
Typhlosion: Sidegrade, I like both but prefer the original
Samurott: Still shit, unsalvageable design
>not caring about how dogshit a pokemon is to use
yup, typical typhlosioncuck lol
>not realizing that compshit wasn’t even meant to be part of the fricking game and Nintendo only forced game freak to add it so tbh they could make shillmons like CHARIZARD look better
Retarf
>Samurott
just as good
>Hisuian typhlosion
good for different reasons
>Decidueye
Just as bad
I already lilked the three starters and these forms made me like them even more (except dicidueye he's meh) if all regional evolutions had this quality I would love to see more
The biggest improvement to viability is Samurott, but aesthetically is not really changed in any significant way.
Owl still manages to be terrible in the mainline meta, but the design is an improvement.
Typhlosion is still irrelevant, but now it’s slightly more effeminate.
Decidueye was overshadowed in its debut game by Lilligant of all things, but I do like it's design.
Typholsion is a side grade but good for some more type diversity.
Samurott is an upgrade pure and simple.
Literally all of them are better design wise.
I can't wait to see what Legends: Johto's starter redesigns look like
They’ll look like nothing. Kanto’s Backyard doesn’t have any legends to tell or culture to explore
>Great starters
>Great region
>Great story
>Great characters
>Great gameplay
Hisui saved modern Pokémon
They're all forgotten like most regional forms. They are designed for temporary hype and then be collectively ignored.
