Metal gear didn't even have good stealth gameplay anyways, so I think it's fitting that Kojima made a walking sim. Kojima likes to think he's the David Lynch of games or something when in reality he's more like the Neil Breen of games. It's just that industry standards were low back in the day, so anyone with a strong vision for their game got noticed.

I would love to know what the Hollywood actors involved actually think of this game and kojima, off the record
like mads. I want to know what he actually thinks. did he do it because he knew it would be dumb and that's fun? or is it more like his agent said "this guy is a famous game director and sony is bankrolling it, just go with it"
they get a nice paycheck and a motion capture job on their CV
actors don't care. the check cleared, that's all that mattered. hell, doing a video game was probably a vacation for him, you just show up, do mocap, and record lines.
