Very little weapon variety and incredibly poor balance between them, most girls become very samey very fast because of how much combined weapons outclass their unique shit so they end up feeling more samey than the VS characters that mostly only differed in stats, only 1 map is remotely threatening. Kay Yu had no issues with adding them when base version of HoloCure launched. I can understand why he didn't add Chris (she didn't even have a single stream before termination) and maybe understand issues with Aloe (she had like 2 streams before being terminated, so there's not many references to use unless you decide to reference Delta), but Rushia and Coco existed for years and it's impossible to memoryhole them at this point (plus it's a free fangame with no profit, so it's not like you're using their imaginary to gain profit, which even Cover doesn't do with terminated / graduated members).

Cover actually gave permission to the dev to sell the game and he refused, he wants to keep it free and as his pet project. Damn good portfolio work, also.

The game is really fun and I've been playing it on my Steamdeck. There's some dips in performance when there's too much stuff going on, but apparently it's getting fixed in this update. Probably more excited about this update than most games that came out this year

I've always just moved my save to the new version, but I'm on steam deck. The dev had instructions about exporting the save file on his twitter, so it's not discouraged. I'll probably have to move my save file for the steam version after installing it due to needing to launch the game differently on the deck before this update

I can understand why he didn't add Chris (she didn't even have a single stream before termination) and maybe understand issues with Aloe (she had like 2 streams before being terminated, so there's not many references to use unless you decide to reference Delta), but Rushia and Coco existed for years and it's impossible to memoryhole them at this point (plus it's a free fangame with no profit, so it's not like you're using their imaginary to gain profit, which even Cover doesn't do with terminated / graduated members).

Focus on unlocking special attacks and stamps as soon as you can. IRyS and Reine are the moneymakers and with the right sets they can easily get you above 100k coins per run in Stage 1, but you'll need specific items to do so, including Halu which increases fan spawn and difficulty. Read the character's skills to choose passive skills that synergize with them, for example Uber Sheep on Okayu since her personal passives scale on food eaten.
Fishing is faster for earning money as long as you don't have bad reactions

Tons of items are unlocked from getting far enough with certain characters.
Unlock upgrades, specials, stamps, etc for extra systems to play with.

The game is really fun and I've been playing it on my Steamdeck. There's some dips in performance when there's too much stuff going on, but apparently it's getting fixed in this update. Probably more excited about this update than most games that came out this year

I thought the actual problem was that they CHANGED the person playing her which means she is not "kizuna ai" anymore. With all other vtubers, if the actor leaves, the character gets retired, kizuna ai is the only case I know where they replace her.

I've always just moved my save to the new version, but I'm on steam deck. The dev had instructions about exporting the save file on his twitter, so it's not discouraged. I'll probably have to move my save file for the steam version after installing it due to needing to launch the game differently on the deck before this update
Saves don't exist in game's folder, they exist in your Windows application data folder tied to your Windows profile
Steam version will just automatically link to the same folder for save data
